Review Essence Cafe & Pizzeria - Hillcrest

I loved the vibe that this restaurant gave me. The setting was really nice but I did think that the oreo milkshake I had was a bit expensive and the staff weren't exactly the most friendly but they weren't terrible either. I would definitely go again I think it might be better if I went with a group of friends instead of alone like I did.

The welcome and service was good. Food was flavorful. We had the calamari starter, crumbed button mushrooms, garlic and herb focaccia with a bacon brie pizza. Have to say that the focaccia and pizza were amazing, made in a clay oven too. The calamari starter had a tad bit too much lemon juice... other than that all was well. I would strongly recommend pizza here.

love Essence Cafe !! the food is good and tasty the staff are awesome ! love the by one get one free evenings ! Definitely my local spot when I don't feel like cooking ! my favourite is the pizza ! In fact we ordered 8 pizzas when I arrived home some of them where the wrong ones but we ate them anyway and it was so good ! 👍 😋

I ordered a peri-peri chicken burger with mixed berries crush, it was so nice, the atmosphere is awesome. My waitress gave me the best service ever, and the place is so clean, I'll definitely come back for another meal, big thumbs up👍🙂

Pizza was Great..we did wait a while to check out hower our waiter was friendly and accommodating. The caramel milkshake was also good.

What a fantastic surprise this place was. What appeared to be "another coffee shop in Hillcrest" turned out to have one of the nicest pizzas in Hillcrest. Very friendly service and excellent quality food. Definitely won't be the last time I visit

Had coffee and cake. Friend and I shared the cake . It was a huge slice. Very enjoyable.

Good selection of meals. Well and nicely prepared and tasty. Friendly staff.

Good food and service. Convenient after shopping at hillcrest corner.
