Review Platzz, Eat And Drink - Hillcrest

We have dined at Platzz countless times now - breakfast, lunch, dinner, late afternoon drinks and snacks. We have NEVER had a bad meal or bad service. The staff are exceptional - friendly, attentive and a real asset to the restaurant. We recently gave their Date Night a try and cannot recommend it enough! 3 generous courses for 2 people, a bottle of wine and a truly exceptional evening for the price of R450. DELICIOUS pizzas and some of the best burgers we've had the pleasure of tasting! Also, the best jalapeno poppers in KZN in my mind!

The best chicken schnitzel in Durban! Staff are amazing - Always remember our order 🫶🌈. Hazel is a great asset to your establishment.. Lunch menu specials are great value 🤩

It was fairly quiet when I went but to be fair it was a Thursday evening. I really enjoyed the live music and the food was superb - staff are also helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Attend a surprise 60 the birthday party. The owner and staff were extremely accommodating. One of those places where a blend of good food, interesting people and bar all combine and work

Needs more staff. New managers need to introduce themselves. Great place for excellent live music on weekends, especially on Saturday afternoons 1pm to 4pm. Thanks to Flat Dog Entertainment.

Nice Upper Highway Gem, food was good, TK our server was awesome, great pub grub cuisine without it being over crowded with underage patrons - if you catch my drift. Really yummy cocktails too. I really am so very fond of this restaurant and highly encourage people to visit and support.

Great value for money. Good pub meals. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with seating indoors or in the open air. Staff are friendly and on the ball. My family has never been disappointed over multiple visits. Definitely worth a visit.

Wow! What a hidden gem in the heart of Hillcrest. If there is anything that makes a hospitality establishment its the staff. And boy have Platzz got amazing staff. Absolutely amazing experience.

Love this place...its absolutely awesome...on Friday's there is find your surprise free Tequila....and you can find more that 1 shot.....love it and will definitely go back next Friday ...!!!
