Review Two Acres Tearoom - Hillcrest

Really amazing birthday lunchtime celebration. Every aspect was perfectly handled. Stunning venue, helpful and very friendly staff, beautifully decorated tables and absolutely delicious teatime treats, puddings and a "to die for" cheesecake! Massive thanks to Bridget, the manageress and both Kathleen and Richard for a truly memorable afternoon.

They have really great coffee at an affordable price, and lovely baked goods too. It's an awesome venue for various functions, and includes a mani and pedis salon on the property (known as the Birdhouse), as well as a little shop with jams, art and some clothes, amongst other things. All-in-all, Two Acres provides a pleasant dining experience.

A very cozy tea room with good food and good service. The Welsh Rarebert was superb. My wife had sweetcorn fritters that she said were superb. The Gin display was very interesting and what about the Champaign cork holder chairs :-) A great time spent at Two Acres celebrating my mum in laws birthday.

This delightful gem in Hillcrest is a must visit. It has the perfect combination - a delicious menu, great staff/service and a beautiful location. They are also fabulous at hosting parties. You really can't go wrong at Two Acres. One of my favorite places.

A calming and relaxing lunch nestled under gigantic trees. Food was fresh light and delicious. Smoked salmon with avo on artisnal bread. Definitely befitting of a light and breezy autumn day. Rounded off with hot coffee, grilled pineapples and coconut ice cream. Service was a bit slow but we were in no rush.

The food here is incredible. Please visit at least once to see for your self. I am in LOVE with the quiche. Salad greens and herbs come straight from the garden... yum!

Relaxing afternoon at their garden and restaurant. Service is quick and the food is good quality. Good place for a tea party and to chill. Selection is limited. You come here to relax.

Food was very good as was service. Only problem is parking area where large tree roots are a danger for elderly and handrail is non available due to plants covering it.

Excellent customer service. Delicious food fresh and hot. Menu varied and covers for most tastes and diet.

We booked a table for 9 during the week, for outside, this morning someone phoned to say they were putting us inside due to it being a bit "chilly". We were pleasantly surprised to arrive to a stunningly decorated "wine room". Cappacino's and food were on point. Thank you for the amazing service and friendly staff, you rounded up our mothers day celebrations beautifully for us.

I had my 40th Ladies tea at Two Acres. What a beautiful morning spent under the trees. Amazing food and just so much care taken my Kathleen and Bridget in helping me choose the perfect menu, decorate the table and personal attention on the day. I couldn't have wished for any better and my day was exactly what I envisaged. Thank you so much.

This will always be my favourite place - a little bit of country, pleasant staff, a choice of being inside or out and yummy food Love you 2 Acres! xx

Some of the unfriendliest service I've ever had at any restaurant. The waitresses were very curt and unhelpful. My family remarked: "now there's someone who hates their job." The food was oversold and over-priced - it was ok, but not great for its menu description and price.
