Had an amazing dinner and service here tonight. Sunday night the restaurant was quiet. The Carpetbagger filet stuffed with bacon, feta and peppadew peppers was delicious. Lucien did a wonderful job taking care of everything we needed. The exceptional service made this meal excellent. Highly recommend and may go back before we leave town.

We went to The Cattle Baron in Constantias Old Village. Service was 5 star, food was beautifully presented and my steak cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly and professional. Ambience is upmarket, white linen and separate tables. Not booths. It was a most wonderful and pleasant experience. Will definitely go again, over and over again ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆!

Just had a lovely dinner! The food was delicious, very big portions and every bite was enjoyable! Service was great and all the staff were friendly. Atmosphere was lovely. I would definitely recommend this place for a dinner night out.

Amazing and friendly staff, but Chef Anton was especially amazing. I have food allergies so I called in advance to see what would be available.
Not only did he speak to me on the phone, but he said that I should find him when I arrived to discuss options. This resulted in me having a specially made sauce.
I'm super impressed and thankful to have had an amazing meal. Will return 😊

We had a good experience what made the fourth star was the friendly waiter's. .I have known the cattle Barons for years. Why I dropped from a perfect 5 was look into maybe adding more salads in your plates more chips , try bringing back the hot spinach and pumpkin they not expensive vegetables, I know it's tough but look at re marketing your prices on the menu , I believe more clients will magnetise around reasonable price menu, just my thoughts 😊I would come back soon

Had a Chateaubriand a decent bottle of local red and it was delicious. The staff were attentive and quite knowledgeable. The price we found was excellent compared to UK. The atmosphere was OK and general presentation of the restaurant pleasent enough. We would go again if we stayed in town

I've always held the Cattle baron franchise in high regard. <br/><br/>The service is good, the venue is well setup well (although a little cold), the staff are knowledgeable and the menu is always mouthwatering. This time, the food (Cattle Baron burger) wasn't impressive. An overdone patty and a handful of chips wasnt close to the best I've had. Underwhelming meal (the locals I've spoken to concur) bit fantastic service.

Great steak perfectly cooked and excellent service in an unassuming setting. It's the kind of place you go to for steak. Don't expect pretty salads and funky food, this is just good honest steak, well prepared and served with minimum fuss.
