Poppers (recommend), starter calamari ( too much dough flavor not enough fish flavor), rump (recommend, can only have it medium rare, it’s basting is delish, had mushroom sauce - it was spicy as it should be noted as pepper mushroom sauce), Mexican burger - good!
Service : waiters were always around and serving, we didn’t have to wait for anything. Lovely guys!
Vibe: very quaint and rustic, bench seating mostly, nice vibe, i personally didn’t like the smoking, no designated area, and I got eaten alive by mosquitos.
I can tell you, if you won't order the steak, you are definitely missing out. One of the best steaks I ever had. Wolf was our waitress and she's the best. If I would own a bar, I'd hire her on the spot! Thanks for the great dinner and the good time we had.

Tanks came very well recommended. The steak was delicious, perfectly prepared and full of flavour. The malva pudding for dessert was rich and saucy! Staff friendly and service excellent, will gladly visit again!

The food was delicious, service was great and chilled ambience. We played pool, had a drink and steak I ordered was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.
Wow, what an amazing welcoming place, our waiter Roy was excellent with his attention to detail and his fabulous sense of humour. Our table of 9 ordered a variety of food and every single meal was delicious. Definitely a worthwhile stop when in the area, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice burgers! Taste was amazing. We did have to wait about 1hour to get our food. It’s almost completely outside so can be a bit cold in wintertime.
Absolutely brilliant little local place! Best restaurant we tried outside of resorts in South Africa! Staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful with things we had never tasted/heard of. They adjusted a burger to be more spicy for our taste and it was perfect. Our server was a former employee - who doesn’t even work here currently, but was helping out - she was fantastic - sad that if we come back again during our stay she won’t be here.
What a lovely place. Friendly service and the food is amazing. Compliments to the chefs. The steak my son had was cooked perfectly. I had hake and calamari. Cooked to perfection. Not everybody can cook seafood. And the prices were very reasonable. If you're in the area you have to eat at Tanks.
Popped in for a quick dinner after a long day. The service was great, the food was excellent, fantastic portions and great value for money. The music was a blast from the past and it made a delicious evening even more AWESOME! Thanks Guys!!
Nice cozy (outdoor) local pub to watch the game and have a bite. Also great with kids as they have a playground. Food is good for a local bar.
Best Calamari i ever had. Good Food, fabulous steak, good beer and wine, nice people, sympathic waiter, best burgers and peanutbutter milkshake. Go and try it!
Best steaks in South Africa! Graham is a Stormer but it’s not his fault. Kruger needs more soutiies like this.

Had some burgers and steaks from Tanks while staying in Hazeyview. To be honest you won't get any better around here at all the food is absolutely amazing. Be sure to come and treat yourself.
