Review Mulligans Pub & Restaurant - Hartbeespoort

If you are a curry lover then Mulligans is where it’s at. The most flavourful lamb curry with poppadum and your choice of rice, mash or samp. Generous portions too. A live band most weekends, good service, clean toilets and an air-conditioned tv room for sports enthusiasts to catch the rugby, motogp or such on the biggest tv you have ever seen :)

A good old fashioned pub restaurant with exactly what you'd expect; cold beer, a fire going in winter, hearty pub food and friendly staff. Lots of space and a great view outside, just be careful of the long, bumpy dirt road in. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Pork belly was wonderful and Oxtail was great. Washed down with a few beers. So relaxing after a good hike. Dog friendly.

Poor service. 1 waiter for all tables. Food was disappointing more lettuce than meat on my plate. Not coming here soon again. Not my idea of a nice Sunday lunch.

Great cosy family or friends spot for great sunny days away from main roads or hustle and bustle, in the awesome Harties area at the foot of the mountains. <br/>Interesting menu. Not extensive but something for everyone. Had some live music the day we were there. I am generally not a fan. Bit this was nice. Added to the atmosphere. Service was good. My pork belly was tasty, everybody enjoyed their food, but more than anything a nice spot for being outside, under trees and just relax. (Inside restaurant as well, but... ;)

Very relaxed and scenic. Cool outside under the trees. Effort was made to build the place around the existing landscape. Service was professional and fast by Kyle. She was curtious and managed our expectations well. I did not go view the driving range nearby. Driving the dirt road to the establishment I thought that more could have been done to manage the road. However was pleasantly surprise with an establishment with good housekeeping and scenic views. Could do well by sourcing craft beers, however did have the usual brands on draft. There was a modest wine list. Food was tasty. I'll be back.

Very nice, relaxed outdoor atmosphere, with plenty of space. We went there for breakfast and the service was friendly and efficient. The food was tasty, with fresh ingredients and appealing presentation. The pub itself looks like it can get quite lively later in the day; will definitely go again to check it out.

Harries on a Sunday. Traffic and busy. Mulligans is tucked away from the most busiest oh Harties almost at the very end of the R511. Although the waiters try, the service is terribly slow (and characteristically bad) even for a county restaurant. Having said that the food was surprisingly good. Hence the saving 3,5.
