Love the food especially the sushi and the new bao buns (especially the chicken)! Great play area for the kids.

We made a last-minute decision to have a meal while our car was charging, and were met by the smiling, friendly Nelly. She made sure my husband's vegan sushi was prepared with a clean knife to avoid any allergic reactions. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, the music was at a decent volume, the restaurant was spotless, the facilities were neat and sanitary. A pleasant experience indeed.

Took my parents out for dinner it was so nice, they have yummy cocktails and their food was really good, the only thing was they should ask you what sauce you want on your prawns as the one on mine was not nice. Louisa our waitress was so attentive and sweet special thanks to her

The place was spacious, there were options to sit in or outside, Rutendo, our waitress was really lovely and helpful. Their food was really affordable and the drinks too. I ordered the sole prawn meal and it was so yummy, the best prawns I’ve had to date

Kuda, my waiter was a bit overbearing, insists to suggest food items even after I told him I 'm a regular and know what I want to eat. Only overseas soccer on TV. Sushi was very good and the mussels were excellent. Will be back soon.

We frequently eat here as my boys love the entertainment area. The staff is fantastic with the kids and food always delicious and consistent.

The management had gone to a lot of trouble for Valentine's evening - red carpet, flowers and the waitresses all wore red. The service was a bit slow and our starter took close on an hour to arrive without cutlery. By the time the cutlery arrived we'd finished eating the Popcorn Prawns which were absolutely delicious (even though they did not have the sesame seeds and spring onions as advertised). The main portions could be a bit more generous, but tasted superb. Overall a pleasant evening at a reasonable price

This is my first public complaint ever ,but I am extremely disappointed in the standard of service that my family and I received on the evening Wednesday 18 July 2018 at Harties . The standard in which the waitress conducted herself was just unsatisfactory. In certain industries waitron staff must always be dressed appropriately and personal hygiene is of the utmost importance. If this is not adhered to it is off putting to customers as was the case in this situation. Not much enthusiasm from her either, and I always felt unsure if she completely understood her role. I ordered a glass of house wine for my wife with extra ice. No ice. I had to point it out before it was served. I orders a beer for myself which was served along with a wet glass. I had to point out to the waitress that she had to open it as it was not a screw top. The starters ordered took abnormally long to prepare and be served. The main meals ordered were not all served together and came out in drips and drabs. My daughter half finished her small meal, before my sons burger arrived and only a while after that our meals arrived. Nothing wrong with the food though. I asked for the remaining food to be doggy-bagged, but she omitted some of it. I had to specifically point it out a second time and again we waited. We eventually paid and left without it - my son felt bad and walked back in and waited for it to be delivered. Considering the cost of our dinner at your establishment which came to just under R1000, this is unacceptable. An evening that should have been a treat for myself and my family was not at all enjoyable. I trust this matter will be rectified immediately to prevent other patrons feeling that they should not have wasted money by coming to your establishment. Times are hard enough in the current economic situation and restaurants should be maintaining their standards, not dropping them!

Im not one who complains but last night was ridiculous. Our Waiter (Hope) was an excellent host but WOW the food.... We order our starters and drinks which was very promptly served. After we ordered 3 mains we waited a while. After about 45 mins only one plate of food arrived. We were informed the other food will arrive within 3 mins. After 45 - 50 mins of waiting and the other person already done with his food there was no sight of our food. I had to get up and ask for our food to be doggy bagged and requested the bill. After another 20 mins our doggy bagged food arrived. To no surprise there were no sauce nor mussels in the take-aways. We had to wait another good 10 mins for the rest of the food. Seriously look at employing better management. If it was busy I would of understand but really. Wont be visiting soon...

Our favourite restaurant in Harties for seafood. Love the staff and the food. Got the best service from manager Tumi and waitress Marinkie they are so friendly and customer service orientated. Thank you.x

Nou by John Doreys Village Mall geeët!! Awesome diens en mense! Hulle maak eers 11:00 oop, maar hulle het ons toegelaat om reeds 10:30 in te gaan. My kind is mal oor die Jungle Gym. Baie veilig daar!! Dankie aan die personeel dat ons elke keer 'n onvergeetlike tyd daar het!!! Altyd vriendelike mense en diens!!!

The most disgusting place to eat at. Save your money for ocean basket. A bunch of clowns running the show even the manager was a waste of time to complain to. Many people walked out.will never visit any John Dory's this one put us off big time. Ocean Basket is still the best.

We were served by the beat waitress named Phillis, she had an excellent sense of humor and made our visit enjoyable. The food was of an excellent quality and was served to us without having to wait for a long period of time. Our visit was by far one of the best franchise experiences we had in ages. Well done JD Harties!

Nog nooit in my lewe het ek sulke slegte diens gekry by 'n eetplek nie! Ons was 19H20 daar en moes op 'n stowwerige tafel sit, na 15min moes ek iemand gaan vra het vir n spyskaart en iets om te drink! Om 20H00 het iemand ons eers gehelp met iets om te drink en het net 'n Sushi Menu gegee, 20H30 was daar eers iemand om ons order te neem. 20H50 het die krag uitgegaan en kon die kragopwekkers nie begin nie weens n probleem waarmee hulle besig was. 21H15 het ons opgestaan en geloop. Ons sal nooit weer ons voete daar sit nie!! Swakste swakste diens wat ons nog gekry het - amper 2ure en al wat ons gehad het was n drankie!

The perfect restaurant for everything fish, grill & sushi! There is something for everyone, from a kids play area to a gourmet sushi bar! The food is great, exactly what you would expect from a great John Dory's. Definitely a must try!

We went there around 14h00. Had excellent service. Waiter named Clive came by numerous times to check up on us. Sushi was fresh, we loved it. Thank you Clive you are indeed a very good waiter.

Service, food, drinks, atmosphere - everything was excellent. Our waiter Ali was one of the best waiters Ive seen in a while. My husband called and made a booking, chocolates on the table - they made sure we had a lovely time. Thanks you guys!!!!

It was our first time there, and it was awesome. The food (sushi and desserts) were amazing and the service was also amazing. Will definitely be going back there.
