Had to spend a few night in Harrismith because of car troubles. The owners at Skylight lodge were so kind and accommodating. Had a room immediately and kept the room checked out for me in case I needed to stay on. Had a great homecooked meal at the restaurant. They even let me borrow their car. So g

We have stayed here 3 times before, and this is the first time under the new management. We thoroughly enjoyed the food they prepared for us for dinner when we arrived. The service was very good, and we will continue to stay here on future visits to Harrismith.

The ideal base for my wife and I during our tour of the Northern Berg and Western Free State over 5 days during the festive period. Excellent rooms, cuisine and ambience! The staff could not be more helpful and treated us like family. The most comprehensive menu in South Africa and well cooked meal
Great lodge with friendly personnel that go the extra mile. Breakfast was great and location perfect for Harrismith Mounrain race as it is located next to the start point.

It is an absolute beautiful place very neat and very clean. Food was fantastic and service was great. And people are friendly. A must stay for any long road trips.
