such a loving group of ladies running this little gem. Everything is cooked with love by the ladies and with compassion for animals. Tasty, healthy - my favourite place to eat.

When a friend raved about Pure Cafe's hot chocolate, the next logical step was to taste it myself. So last weekend, when it was so freezing cold, I popped over (with that same friend) and ordered hot chocolate, and a tub of peanut butter balls (I had heard so much about them). The hot chocolate was lovely — it was frothy, very different from other hot chocolate I've tried before. But it were the peanut butter balls that really got me excited! I'm not even so much into peanut butter as others, but oh my goodness. They were so rich, so flavorsome, so comforting. Drool. I adore the quirkiness of Pure Cafe, and Thandi just comes across as a very warm, loving, caring person so I really like being around her. You'll definitely see me again at Pure Cafe sometime soon!

We had the most wonderful lunch at Rupert's Bistro with family and friends . The food was flavourful and perfect for a cold wet winters day .

Rupert is always willing to accommodate vegan requests. His mushroom risotto is perfect. Also offers penne pasta with olives and tomato, vegan pizza. Cosy restaurant and good ambiance

Ate dinner there on a cold, wet and quiet Saturday night. Gnocchi and pork fillet were excellent, lemon Pavlova very good and could perhaps just have benefited from the addition of some.fresh fruit. Attentive and friendly host, nice place. Recommend.

We’ve been visiting this lovely gem of Greyton since 2009 and have never been disappointed. Consistently great food, very friendly service by the owner, cosy and stylish ambience. Always a treat to visit especially when you prefer a quieter and more private experience. Thank you!!

Truly one of the nicest meals I’ve had in long time. Gnocchi to start, chicken tikka masala as the main and an apple pie to finish. Really really good.

My family and I were in Greyton for the weekend and had supper at Rupert's on Friday night. Rupert was a kind and gracious host. My partner and father raved about the steak and bacon-wrapped chickens and the potato wedges. Rupert was also kind enough to sell us some extra wood for the fireplace at the place we were staying. My only critique is that there were whole peppercorns in my food so I was biting into whole peppercorns. My recommendation would be to grind the pepper but otherwise, this was fantastic experience! Thanks to Rupert and his team for their hospitality

I've had the fish pie...incredible and very homely .. and the pork medley.. delicious flavourful. Starters .. shared with hubby..thr melanzane.. lovely truffle type choccie at the end of the meal.. such a delish treat. As for Rupert.. he is Hugh Laurie..aka Dr House's double.. although others say he is much like Basil Faulty.. mmm he is way better.m Definitely Dr House. Enjoy Ruperts

We had a wonderful dinner, the food outstanding. The particular standouts of the evening being the spinach and ricotta gnocchi, cheesy leek pancakes and the rump with pepper sauce. Unobtrusive service and lovely atmosphere on the terrace. Divine!

This is a wonderful little eatery in Greyton. The menu consists of a few items per day, and changes regularly. Pizzas are very good, and fired in a wood oven. I was very happy with service, food, and drinks, and would happily recommend Rupert's to anyone visiting Greyton!

I enjoyed our evening eating here. The host was genial and accommodating, the food rather good. The atmosphere was very relaxed and informal. With all the doors open to the warm summer's evening, it was just the ticket for a family meal. Desserts we especially fine. Lemon pavlova and homemade ice cream can both be recommended.
