Edit....thank you for allowing me to have my birthday party At the Randy! All my guests had a lovely time and the chilled vibe was exactly what we needed....I would maybe suggest having more a few loo's as I had some dudes banging on the door cos they didn't not want to wait their turn....

Had an ice cold brew and played a game of pool while we waited to book into our hotel. Stumbled upon this little place purely by chance. Staff were super friendly and the beer cold. We'll come around again!
We had supper here just before the Imagine Dragons concert and the place was packed. The food is very reasonable priced as well as the drinks. The food took a bit long to prepare so they need a better system as it appears people were collecting their orders randomly and not by order number (which does not appear on the slip). Other than that, I can recommend this place.
Love this place... A backpackers with a difference. Outdoor plunge pool, pool tables, bar and restaurant with free wifi. Great place to chill out and meet lots of travellers from all over the world while they welcome locals as well. Enjoy great food specials and don't miss out on their happy hour on already affordable drinks between 6 and 7. Various theme nights such a pool competitions, beer pong and Wednesday braai nights. Various excursions can also be hooked up from here to explore the cape.

This super cool bar located at the back of never@home hostel is great for both lunch & having a few drinks in the night time. I spent a few days here by the poolside in the hot midday sun with a drink chilling with friends. its a super social place where you can meet a lot of different characters from around the world.
They have a full menu serving breakfast from 7am to their daily menu thats available until 10pm. The food is delicious here especially the chicken schnitzel that i took on numerous occasions, vegetarian options are also available.
They show a lot of sport here especially the english premier league. I watched the Liverpool, Manchester United match here & the place was totally packed out it was an amazing atmosphere.
The main event of the week has to be braai (barbecue) night on Wednesday evening at R90 its a bargain. You can get your fill with some of the best meat in the city.
Great food, cold beer and mostly friendly partons from all over the world.

Amazing experience. Clean rooms and shared spaces, fabtastic activities arranged by the backpackers. Central location. Great bar with plenty of well priced drinks and good food. Perfect for touring cape town
Very friendly and great looking pub but a bit difficult to access off the road. Due to response from management, I have since changed to a 5*

It's quite literally impossible not to have a good time when at The Randy Warthog.
Choose from the pool table, actual pool, braai night, quiz evenings, or just sipping on an ice cold one under the summer sun while listening to some music.
The atmosphere is amazing, very vibey. Great for friends, solo dates and nights out. Bring your smiley faces and make friends with many of the international guests that stay on the property. Or make friends on Rugby Day as the bar area turns into a nation of Rugby fans and screams for the winning teams.
The menu has been refreshed for the incoming summer (vegetarian options are included, unfortunately nothing Vegan yet, but they'll get there).
The staff are 10/10 with everyone greeting you with a smile, keeping the energy of the place upwards and always ready to help with advice and recommendations. Randy Warthog is a place to be and definitely spend a summers day at.

Hidden gem. Go try their ABC (avo, bacon and cheese) burger. Very reasonably priced.
Awesome vibe for a weekly night out. Nice events and activities all week round. Beer pong nights and quiz nights are the best.

A really pleasant place to be in. The outside area is readily chill and the staff is super nice. They don't have a veggie option on the menu but when i asked they made me a really nice avocado rap. And the place is perfect for the interesting chat with a traveller.
