Good Indian food.
Prices bit high as casino area.
Taste was good - we ordered very hot thinking that most Indian restaurants outside India serve not that spicy - but this was hot-hot food.
Overall nice place.
Enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The food was good, although not the best Indian food I've tasted. Their menu is extensive and a bit pricey compared to other Indian restaurants. Also, they do not serve any dishes with rice and this needs to be ordered separately.
We ordered the Paneer Makani, Chicken Korma and Chicken Vindaloo. All three dishes were well prepared. I did however find that the Makani would have tasted better with a hint of extra fresh cream. It didn't have the rich taste I've been accustomed to expecting from a Paneer dish. The butter naan was really great and full of flavor.
Our waiter was friendly and the service was good. Keen on visiting again.

The food was great although I was taken aback that they can charge more than R100 for a curry and not even give some complimentary rice or even some bread etc on the table. Service and vibe is seriously lacking.
Delicious authentic Indian food with a kick. Enjoyable meals, with normal service from their team members. Looking forward to eating their full menu. The lamb curry was to die for.
What a nice surprise! We popped out after work for dinner and bowling at Gold Reef for a colleague 's birthday and on the spur of the moment decided to come to Raj for dinner. The atmosphere and decor is poor, but the food was fantastic!! I had a chicken madras medium with naan and it was absolutely delicious! We were a big table of around 14 people and we all got our food at the same time and everyone loved their food! This is definitely the restaurant with the best food in Gold Reef that I have been to. Will definitely be back!!
