Visiting Graskop is a wonderful experience but there are limited restaurants with acceptable food offerings and no franchises. Highlands pub is one of the few places were you will find great food. The décor has an outdoor feel and the food was superb. Make no mistake the food is 5 star. Meat cooked perfectly and accompanied with veg and chips. Well worth a visit.

We were a group of 10 people, last minute booking to watch the rugby final, everything we had was brilliant, staff very accommodating and friendly, owner's were great fun and witty, brilliant evening, thanks for an unforgettable evening, Andy, Carlos, Derek and all the rest of us 👍👍👍👍👍.

Had a fabulous time at this restaurant. Service and food were both superb... Had the chicken livers (hot) which hit the spot after a long day on the road and took the rump bisket back to the chalet, so good omg!!! Reasonably priced, amazing food and great company. Will definitely be back....

The service at this restaurant was amazing! This restaurant is run by one family who will do everything to offer great service to their guests, Especially Kyle is a very hardworking guy. In addition to that the location and the view from their terrace is wonderful.

We had a rough day on route to Graskop, but dinner at The Highlands was incredibly nice. Our hosts were accomodating and arranged special dinner for our 5yr old. The quality of the food was extremely good and we were grateful to them for ending our day on this high note. Not even loadshedding put a stop to there good service. The Best Burger I had in my Life!!! All the food we had there was top of the line!!! Unfortunately we did not stay their, we only ate at the Bar/restaurant (The Highlander).
Staff was extremely friendly and made as feel at home.

If you go to Graskop you absolutely have to stop in at The Highlands Pub and restaurant. Vince and his crew will make you feel right at home.
Awesome food, lovely views and great vibe.

The Gorge lift attraction was too crowded during peak holiday so we opted for the Highlands pub / restaurant right next door. We had a more peaceful relax atmosphere good service with better views of the Gorge and activities + the Best home made hamburgers all 4 of us concurred.
