Great place to relax and enjoy well prepared jummy food and drinks xx Under the oak tree Lovely. A butterfly exactly the same colour as the oak tree leaves visited us xx So special

This quaint coffee shop holds a lot of charm. From it's mismatched but huge coffee mugs to it's seating under lovely trees. The service is good as well as the food. I'd suggest having a slice (or two, I don't judge) of one of their cakes

One of my favorite spots when I was a student in gtown. Took mom there during my grad and she fell in love with it as well. Super friendly staff and tasty food. Highly recommend their sandwiches.

Quaint and lovely little coffee shop surrounded by lots of history and historic places. Interesting themed environment with good service and very good food!

Does itself a disservice Good food and value for money Tasty coffee better than some “brand coffees” Speedy service BUT Needs some attention to detail Waitresses aprons grubby and stained Bring you the wi fix password on a crumpled stained torn piece of paper Menu stands on table grubby and need a clean up

Coffee and eats are fabulous, cakes are homemade and mouth wateringly tasty, it's a fantastic meeting spot... Cheers Phil😀

Quirky spot with an Alice in Wonderland theme. Personal homely touch, both interior, the food and staff. Friendly bunch. <br/>Had coffee, tea, and cakes.<br/>My friend had the waffle and cream, I have pecan pie with ice cream. Both delish! Worth a look if your ever in Grahamstown.

Last time I came to Mad Hatters, I really enjoyed it - however their service during this festival has been atrocious. I called on two different occasions asking if I could book a table, and on the first occasion their response was "no ways" (because, admittedly, I was asking if they would mind opening early as we were a large booking) and the second occasion the manager answered the phone and said "I will take your booking but it gets confusing and we might not remember that you're coming"<br/><br/>Ok, Mad Hatters, thanks.

It is food, but not so good. Very ordinary and nothing spectacular. Beautiful street cafe and friendly people. At least it was open while the rest of restaurants were closed.

Roadtripping from durban to st francis through the transkei was the name of the game and this was one of the lucky food stops! Small town cafe vibes with cheap prices and fairly decent food. Had a bacon and cheese burger and iced coffee which were a nice change from the standard steers.
