Our family are regular customers and enjoy a sugar cone with flavored ice cream. I love to combine a scoop of coffee chocolate and a scoop of tin roof. Staff are friendly, and they serve customers efficiently. The que becomes long and the inside crowded, but that is just all the visitors and locals loving the good ice cream, so we endure the crowd and the que and wait patiently to be served good ice cream 🍦 😋

When you think back to your childhood, and remember wonderfully huge and creamy soft-serve ice creams, Uncle Barry's sells exactly that. They don't sell any soft-serves during loadshedding, so we had to come back after, but the machines are cleaned and refilled as soon as the electricity returns, so the ice creams don't mess with your stomach and hold really well in the sweltering summer heat. Will definitely be coming back for a strawberry chocolate swirl! Paid with debit card, below R100, so that's no longer an issue as well👌🏽

The most simplest deeevine FRESH ice cream . The sugar cone was fresh and sooo sooo very tasty. A MUST TRY when in cape town. I had the choc and vanilla and the strawberry and vanilla. Both were awesome.

Delicious, Fantastical Soft Serve Ice Cream in a Sugar Cone. Uncle Barry's Ice Cream has a Jumbo Sugar Cone with Soft Serve ( Not for the Fainthearted) to munch away. I highly recommend Uncle Barry's Ice Cream. The portions size is always worth the money you pay. For the little one's they have small cups as well.

Great old fashioned ice cream. Generous servings. Good selection of flavours and topping options, and non of the over the top additions that turns enjoying an ice cream into an arduous chore. All served with a smile. Well worth it

Best place to buy your original soft serve ice-creams. Just remember that they work mainly with cash and only transactions exceeding R100 will be payable by card. Serving size is huge in comparison with other ice-cream shops.

A huge thank you to Samantha who is perhaps the only staff member there with great customer skills ! Great ice cream as always, however the ice cream temperature needs to be lowered as it’s already melting on the cone whilst paying - rather messy business there 😅

The soft serve ice cream is tasty and would give your blood sugar levels a rise hehe Had the strawberry and vanilla cup and it was a good serving size for R18. They don't have card facilties though so take cash.

The ice cream is very tasty here with a lot of options to choose from which are served in large portions for good prices. They have scoops, soft serve, frozen yogurt and Ola ice lollies. However, the place is not very vibrant or up to date with the times. The servers were also more interested in watching the TV than helping us.<br/><br/>

This is the best ice cream place in the whole area for me. The lady that helped me was friendly and understanding, allowing me to order a smaller ice cream and mixing 2 flavours. Great place that I have fond memories of! Will most definitely be back

Sweet little neste squeezed into some fine eateries. The plave is small but ubber cute with a gorgeous view of the beach. The portions r extremely generous which I didn't mind an the staff if very sweet I had a yummy serving of coffee choc and hazelnut awesome combination if I have to say so myself.
