We stopped here enroute to the airport back from Hermanus - what a treat it was. We were at first a bit skeptical by this little shop that was on the side of a busy road, with 6 tables and that also supplies bait. All of this was put to rest once we tasted the food. Best fish and chips experience in the WC to date. I’m not usually a lover of calamari but this was crispy and fresh. Not a thing to complain about really - just a heads up all the beer is non-alcoholic

Best fish and calamari by far!!! You can taste the freshness in the food. The warm welcome and friendly staff makes it an absolute joy waiting for your meal. This will be the only place that I will revisit for fish and calamari in the future. Big portions can be expected, you won't be dissapointed!

This was the one place in Cape town i was dying to get to! I wanted fish and chips like the locals eat it...and it was delicious! The little chips shop has so much character and they also sell other little snacks like curried fish, bokkoms and atchar. The fish was so fresh and perfectly cooked. The chips was like slap chips should be, thank you!

This is a small fish take-away restaurant which never disappoints. I recently ordered the calamari and chips here while the rest of my friends ordered the hake and chips. Everybody was pleased with their meal and especially with the portion size. The server was kind and helpful and it was like being in a harbour.

Stayed in Gordon's Bay for the weekend and tried Ooskus Fisheries for the first time. Great first impression. Small little take away shop with some outside seating. Perfect for a Sunday lunch. The wait is about 15mins but SO worth it. Great value for money, fresh and tasty fish. Best part for me was the calamari, couldn't fault it at all. Chips are just a bit oily, wouldn't say it's proper "slap chips". Definitely going back for more!

Great Fish and chip take-away. Menu has a lot of variety, good portion sizes and very tasty. Pricing also very reasonable. Service also very quick,admittedly though havent tested that in peak holiday season
