Review Mugg & Bean - Goodwood

Our visits to M&B Paddocks are always made the most delightful by Thabo. He is an absolute expert in his job and we can highly recommend asking for him when you come to M&B Paddocks. Although everybody else is also super kind & sweet & very very helpful, and making your stay a treat. Thank you, guys!!!

Well located, friendly staff, and a calm environment! Our meal was fresh, quickly presented, and very tasty. Parking is free within the mall grounds, with the restaurant being quickly accessible from the entrance. Overall, this is definitely one of our favourite M&B branches.

This mugg and bean is really one of a kind in terms of service! We were helped by Ramsey who was extremely friendly and efficient, he was like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day and we really appreciated his passion for service. Although the wait for the food felt long (but given the restaurant was quite busy) it was definitely worth the wait.

The service was friendly and efficient right at the start. We had a great cappuccino. The cheesecake was so delicious and everything was fresh.

Wonderful location with views. The food is always top quality, excellent value and served with passion and commitment to the best customer service. Kevin regularly serves us and it's always a treat catching up with him. The best chicken mayonnaise sandwich you will find anywhere in the world, imo. And wait until you try the cakes :)

As we were sitting down, my friend commented, “I like coming to Mugg & Bean—because you just know it’ll be good.” 💯 This brunch experience lived up to our expectations: prompt service, good food, and coffee. ☕️ As a vegetarian 🌱 I really appreciate the wide variety of menu items available at M&B. The roasted veg & feta bagel 🥯 with hummus and basil pesto mayo (R75 at the time of writing) was delicious, and the chicken mayo toasted sandwich 🥪 (R66) was a hit with my friend. If you’re looking for a snack, I’d recommend trying their famous, massive muffins or a slice of cake. 🍰 This M&B is pretty big— with numerous seating options that make you feel completely apart from the mall (so, it’s a great spot for business meetings) or there are options in-view of the malls indoor play area, if you have young children. The WiFi password 📱 is available on request and for access to the 🚽 bathrooms (which are a short walk from the restaurant), you’ll have to ask a staff member for a key.

Mugg and Bean is a well known franchise, this one is like any other. You know what you're gonna get and it's unlikely to change. Visited here for a quick delicious breakfast and got exactly that. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. My wrap had good flavour. Coffee's were nice as you would expect and the service was very friendly and good. Will be back.

What a great experience! I hardly give 5 stars, but our waitress, Anilee was beyond amazing! We requested a table outside while everyone else were seated inside. She had no problem setting up a table for us and hauling the umbrella to provide shade. She was incredibly polite, attentive and generally just really nice. THANK YOU for the great service today. She will be the one and only reason we come back again. The food was great, really tasty as always. Well done! Will be back for more again. And if I can reccomend, make sure you ask for Anilee, she will make your day!

It’s more like a family restaurant, the service is great, the staff is friendly, the food is good, there is a nice play area just opposite and that is very convenient. Most of the moms have coffee and play dates at this Mugg and Bean, they are even open when it’s load shedding, a definite place to view

Service is great and friendly. Food is tasty but the portion size doesn't feel fully worth the price for some meals. Access to a great play centre at Paddocks is great although constant parent supervision is required as it is open to the public. Unfortunately went again today and service was slow and food took forever. Still was great food but service was dissapointing. Felt as though they may have been understaffed for the end of the month.

Always awesome food and excellent service. I commend Precious who goes out of her way to please customers.

I am big fan of their all day breakfast menu. I had chicken mayo sandwich and an omelette and I really enjoyed my meal. The waiter was always around and helpful. It’s close to a play area though so if you don’t mind a bit of noise you will be happy.

Sundays are for Matcha 🍵 and Cake 🍰 <br/>Enjoyed our quiet Sunday sharing a Peppermint crisp cake! Always great service and good atmosphere! Can’t wait for another Sunday!

Migg N Bean has really upped their game over the last few years. Huge variety of meals that suits every tastebud and their gluten free bread is one of the best, it looks burned but is melt in your mouth!<br/>The deconstructed omelette with that aoli dressing is one of the best I have ever tasted. I would however prefer more cheese inside the omelette.

Fast service, fresh food. Bakery is superb. This is definitely one of the better Mugg and Beans. Often go back here whether it's for coffee, breakfast or lunch.

When you go to a mugg and bean you kind of know what to expect. The food is alright and the service is nothing to write home about. A plus is that they offer charging stations so that you can work and play and eat.

Mugg & Bean has been growing on me of late.<br/><br/>To drink, we had a Caribbean sunset mocktail, orange juice and an Espresso Afrogata.<br/><br/>Our main courses were the Mexican fiesta platter which was mouth watering and deliciously satisfying. It contained mixed quesadillas, chicken & chorizo kebabs, nachos with the requisite salsa, guacamole and sour cream; and got deep fried jalapenos. Yummo! We also had a Trip Platter which had huge onion rings, crumbled chicken strips and beef & chorizo meatballs with dips.<br/><br/>BigJoe

I've never like this place and always just met here because it was easier for clients! Today, I have to say it was the first time I didn't feel like I was doing them a favour! I don't know if it was a change in management and or staff, but seriously well done! You have upped your game by like 5000%! #keepgoing

Ordered a meal and asked for it without butter, at least I had butter but no bacon. Ordered a Torta which was R65 and consisted of 2 small pieces of chicken - cutlery dirty and just in general a poor sitting.

Lovely coffee shop for business meetings. I always enjoy the coffee & teas, however capped wifi is not cool 🙁 thanks for the inspirational coasters under our coffee cups, keep them coming !

Decent vegetarian options are not easy to come by but the vegetarian eggs benedict was lovely. Our waitress was extremely good. I seldom expect such professionalism combined with genuine friendliness. She made my whole day today! The venue is very comfortable too with enough space to not have to hear the conversation next to you.

It's a Mugg for sure, and I'm not a fan of Mugg in general.<br/><br/>The service was a touch less than attentive, and the food could have been better. It seemed almost as if it was made in a rush and without much care. At those prices I really do expect more.<br/><br/>There is a play area for kids if that is what you are after, if not you will have to put up with the noise as its indoors and the noise is very much there.

Enjoyed a really great breakfast here this morning. We had the most wonderful waitress who really made our visit much more enjoyable. I had the eggs benedict, which was divine, followed by the blueberry meringue milkshake, which was to die for.

Great breakfasts! Usually have poached eggs on rye. Only complaint is that they charge you to swop out items. For example if you don't eat bacon you are charged to replace it. Great kids play area and service is usually good. Excellent cappuccinos too!

Had brunch meeting which turned to lunch. Asked for hidden table was given perfect spot for meeting. Waitron gave excellent service, was extremely patient and smiled all the time. Nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent. Generous portion sizes. Will go again 😀👏

We went for breakfast at M&B, when it get to their food and beverages it speak for themself everything is always very good, this outlet however is different they do cater for the little ones, there is a nice big and safe play area allowing you to enjoy your favroute cup of coffee.

After I'd planned to cook breakfast at home this was cut short by load shedding 😣<br/><br/>My boyfriend, some family members and I decided to go to Mugg & Bean to brighten up our morning. <br/><br/>We were taken to our table and shortly afterwards our coffee's and hot chocolates arrived, which were very nice. <br/><br/>Unfortunately the restaurant seemed to be under staffed so our food did not arrive all at the same time which is something that irks me. Once we had all received our food it was quite enjoyable. <br/><br/>Mugg & Bean is well priced and they have a huge range to choose from.

My favourite place for a brunch and light snacks. I love there carrot cake the most. They have other delicious cakes and lovely selection of fresh muffins.

Arrived at 3:30 for afternoon tea ?! Nice kids play area. Had muffins which were fresh and good. Service was also good considering they closed at 4.<br/>
