Review Rocomamas N1 City - Goodwood

Top Notch service, warm and friendly welcome. There is always someone to check up and ensure that everything is 100's. Food was so tasty and succulent. Good value for money due to nicely sized portions. Sky was an absolute gem. Keep it up. I will definitely return soon.

I went last night to RocoMamas. We ordered a chicken burger with cheese sauce and mushrooms. It was a bit too saucy and messy but tasted delicious. We order shoe string fries and wow it was quite a big portion for a small. I had the cheese bombs with jalapeños. It was yummy but a bit on the cold side even though it was just made, not sure why. The wings were so good. I got the BBQ, it was nicely done. It has a nice alcoholic menu and your regular non alcoholic drinks. The waitress was attentive. The food came out nice and quickly which was great. The place itself was a bit too noisy that it was a struggle to hear each other. Downside of being in the foodcourt, but I can’t say if it was the foodcourt of the actual chatter from the restaurant. Overall a good experience and would definitely come back

We enjoyed our visit to this branch, as it was our first. Waitress was attentive. The place was clean. The food was nice. But with everything there is always room for improvement. Would've liked a bigger portion of chips. But thats just me. We will definitely visit again.

Great food & friendly attentive staff 🙌 such a fun way to place your order with their mini menu sheets that you choose what you want, everything was top notch, the vibe and everything was great 🥂

Very nice and quick service complete burger and chips are well done. Burger patty tasted home made. Which can be positive or negative in some cases. But overall a pleasant experience and would go there again.

Me and my husband went for our anniversary and we tried the 3 course me...i loved the starter ..the cheese balls. Bigger was okay bt i asked for my dessert to be taken home..and they only gave me the waffle without ice cream...that was very dissapionthing because the waiter didnt say anything ....

Staff went well and beyond the normal trying to accommodate us. We asked them to create the hottest burger they could think of and they got very creative. Very happy with our service

Our waitress Zee SINGLEHANDEDLY redeemed my negative mood based on all the bad experiences I've had in the Northern Suburbs as far as customer service goes in specifically the Malls of the North in the last two weeks and the food was Exceptional !!!! I will be BACK all the way from the Southern Suburbs as soon as I can cause its worth driving 39km's (one way) for !!! Thank YOU Zee and Thank You to the Roco Mama's N1 City Team !!!! I love this place. Great food and awesome staff. The milkshakes are next level and have to be tried as well. Had a lovely smash burger with bacon and awesome wings. I recommend the "Surprise Me" milkshake which was surprisingly awesome.

I'm not a burger fanatic simply because of how they taste. I don't like grilled tasting burgers. HOWEVER...I found myself really enjoying their homemade burgers! The staff are real friendly and tended to the needs of my busy kids graciously. Try the redbull spritzer if you like non sweet drinks. It's alchohol meets healthy twist energy buzz. I had the ribs and fried chicken combo with salad. Chicken was properly cooked and the ribs didn't need a knife 🔪 Would love to see more drink options one day. Better softer seating. Possibly an additional area (passage like) to store patrons trolleys as the "no trolley entry" is understandable but also pushes some customers away - bye bye money. Again...great family restaurant. Good food and milkshakes!

Was nice experience, food is tasty, daughter says it's the best burger . Would be nice they added other choices besides blue cheese and white sauce with wings I.e cheese sauce 😋

I love RocoMamas but N1 city's branch does not come close to Durbanville or Seapoints branch.. You make people not wanting to go to RocoMamas, yes I understand that there's a rush and you busy but it does not mean that your food standard should drop.. Your milkshakes are watery and RocoMamas is known for their milkshakes but not your branch it's like watery.. Besides that your burgers the best I love it but you hardly put any sauce on the burgers and it's dry, I was there once again Saturday giving it one last go.. Our food came quick, and I was surprised as you were packed and to my disappointment once again, dry burger hardly sauce on it and the chips was half cooked.. So that is the limit.. I'll rather drive all the way to Durbanville or Seapoint to get quality and be satisfied..

Although my first visit to roco was bad . I loved every bit of my second visit to roco. from starters to desert . They even gave little eliah his own meal,he enjoyed every bit of it .Thanks Donna and Team for making it up to us ��. Would defs recommend this place to anyone. Pretty Average, don't believe the hype people. Haven't been to the other branches (which I'm sure is much better) but everything just seems a bit watered down (even the buffalo wings were watery - weird). Nothing about the burgers we had stood out. The restaurant has cool vibe though, but average service (maybe because it was 'the lunchtime rush'???). Overall pretty disappointing...maybe it's the curse of that specific location, who knows ��� meh...I'd rather go all the way to durbanville or sea point for a 'do-over' in order to experience the real rocomamas...

So tonight my friends and I had our first experience at Rock Mammas N1City and let me tell you. We were treated like kings and queens. The attentive staff that never let us wait on our requests and the manager Reno was great. Going out of their way to make or experience the best one for the evening. The food was exceptional and I would definitely go to them again and recommend any person looking for great awesome service to them. Prince Sass our waitron you are a gem. Great work guys. Best service I've ever had. Love it. Also Tanya making a mean drink. Webster, Dr Levels and Flash for also attending to us.

i visited your branch a couple days ago. It was myself and my girlfriend and it was our first visit. How i regret this day...... The whole brand and image of rocco mammas is brilliant and it seems to be a very popular place, just a pity that your food doesn't compliment it. We both ordered burgers and my girlfriend only ate half of her burger. She absolutely hated it. i finished mine reluctantly. the burger was cooked so dry. it was very very well done. Do people not have a choice on how they would like their burgers cooked? or do you only make it one way? The burger was tasteless. Lacking flavour. It was so bland. Since it opened in Cape Town i have been dying to go. Needless to say i won't be visiting again. Badly dissapointed, cause i really wanted to come back to try those milkshakes.

Awesome staff devine food....food are worth the money...widen the menu a bit by adding some more dishes though

Was at RocoMamas on New Years Day. Bad service, glass was dirty, food was average, beer was warm and staff was not knowledgeable. Atmosphere is noisy, tables are on top of each other. Not a good experience!

What an amazing shop , great management best vibe and Donna is top notch with lots of energy and spunk . You gotta go visit these guys

My partner was bugging me for awhile to try out your restaurant. Finally I gave in and we went Monday evening my partner had the Trippy Dax, after a few bites into he's burger he realizes the chicken was raw. It took more than 10 minutes for the staff to notice that we needed service the staff kept walking pass us.... �eventually a manager came and apologized and offered to prepare a fresh meal... � we said no thank you and asked for the bill, that took forever so decided to just pay at the front desk then Miss manager comes out with burger in hand after we said NO THANK... then she throws the burger on the counter and walks away...�

Pathetic slow service. Waited 15 minutes for someone to take my beverage order. Then waited about another 15 minutes to receive that beverage. On top of that, I waited a whole half hour for my food. I noticed that the surrounding customers were also without food for long periods of time. I wouldn't advise anyone to go to the N1 city branch. Roco mammas as a whole is a great restaurant, however, the n1 branch sucks

I loved everything food was great.... atmosphere great.... waitress was on point.... nli issue I had was that it's not kids friendly .... I think u guys need to work on that as it was only my son nd myself that came for lunch his 6years old and became very restless....

So yesterday i took my toddler and husband for some Sunday afternoon desserts ( Ooooh Yum we thought!) Firstly when we got to the door we had to wait 5 minutes for someone to show us to one of the available seats that was unoccupied.The waitress just pointed to a table and told us to "Sit there".... 10minutes later another waitress came to take our orders(I would have lost my cool if it wasn`t for the friendly waiter). We`ll in the meantime, time was just ticking away and 40 minutes later still no sight/word from our orders.I then called our "friendly" waiter to ask her about our orders and she just said "Sorry mam but she was just informed that the Waffle machine is broken" What then happened to our other orders??? I then cancelled our other orders. No apology from the Manager whatsoever!!! **What saddens me is the fact that I had to answer to my Toddler who kept asking why we`re leaving without his Yummy desserts!He was most dissapointed Sorry but you guys won`t be seeing me again!

Loved the food & the hype that the place has! The moments when the staff all started dancing was awesome!

First time at RocoMamas on Friday evening , food was really nice , but by far the best was the service , everyone who works there made us feel so welcome , by far it was the best service we had at any restaurant for a very long time. Keep up the good service and those lovely smiles , we sure are coming back there again... Thanks again guys.

I definately loved the food,the energy of the hostess was awesome well done...but geez your waitress' almost literally put us out of the place... We recieved starting eating i was halfway through my burger which was like 10min after starting to eat and i was already asked if i wanted a take away box we obviously annoyed at them said no... About 3min there after they came again asking if they could box the fries for us Oh my word by then my friend and i just about had it.... Again 5min later "everything okay... Takeaway box?" we just said yes and the damn bill... By rights they didnt deserve a tip but hey... We still tipped.

Was a very bad experience! Walked in to a lady in rocomammas uniform singing in our face and shouting. Then finally got seated but the music and noise was so loud you could not even talk. One of the staff ladies started dancing on the table like she was a stripper! So unprofessional and disappointing. We left without even ordering. Never again!

Food was great, first visit at Roco Mama's. Just they didn't have a desert menu which the kids wanted. That was disappointing.

It was my first time there, waiter was very helpful...had a great time...jalapenos poppers was off the hook and ribs as well, will differently go there again...

A very nice branch of the Rocomamas franchise. The good is good and so is the service.<br/><br/>I ordered the chili cheese bomb and it did not disappoint in terms of how hot it was.<br/><br/>The prices are fair and the atmosphere is not too loud but definitely energetic and boisterous. I would highly recommend for a small group outing with friends for a chilled evening.

I was excited to eat at this restaurant. Appeared to have enough staff but attention to service lacking. Not up to ask for service and attention. Received food after 25 min for a table of 4 and the order was wrong. Tooth picks provided in a glass and not individually wrapped which is unhygienic. Won't be returning. However, on a more positive note the dessert was good.

From the moment we got there to the very end the service was amazing! We got welcomed warmly by a gent by the name of Wesley(Wickets). He was incredible! He was funny, attentive and really sweet! We went for my daughters birthday. He arranged for her to be sung to and she got a little performance from the entire team and another gentleman (I didn’t get he’s name). We will definitely be going back, the food was amazing and Wesley was great! Thank you for adding a sprinkle of happiness to my babies birthday Wesley! 👍🏾

Service sucks,no telling the difference between management and staff,no acknowledgment.This place is poorly managed.What a bloody disappointment.Such an awesome vibe,trendy food and ambiance.We sat for almost an hour after asking a waiter to take our order.She asked another waiter to assist us but he also ignored us.We eventually just walked out,please contact me...

Love the smack burgers and wings, the service is always attentive and quick, my favorite burger naturally the one with bacon, cheese and guacamole... Love it...

I love everything about this restaurant! From the way you order your food to the way the portions are so huge that you can’t finish your food 😏🔥 <br/><br/>The way the restaurant is decorated is also incredibly inviting as the theme itself indicates that they are all about hardcore, yummy, big meals. <br/><br/>I ordered the bacon,cheese and guacamole burger with extra jalapeños- and it was possibly the best decision I’ve made in a while. Bacon cooked to perfection, beef patty -done to my specifications, lots of guac and their famous roco mayo. The only thing o would suggest with regards to the burger is that you bring wet wipes with because you WILL mess and that’s just all part of the experience. For drinks, I tried the Candylicious freak shake - which was huge and oh so so sweet! Filled to the brim with cream and condensed milk, it was desert, lunch and supper all rolled into one and after my burger there was no way I could possibly ever finish that but it was most definitely the best milkshake I’ve had in a while! <br/><br/>I would highly recommend Rocomama’s- their staff are so friendly and incredibly efficient and attentive! This is definitely not the last of me that they’ve seen!

We received good friendly service from our waitress. The staff were very helpful towards each other and all checked up on our table. The food was good and would definitely recommend coming here. The chilli cheese poppers were extra hot!!! The ribs were so soft that the meat fell off the bone... fantastic

Great experience here! Staff were absolutely helpful. Food was immensely tasteful and up to standard. The entire aura of the restaurant was welcoming and pleasant.

Always happy to try a new burger and new milkshake. Friendly staff and always some good servings! Will recommend it, especially the chocolate mega shake. The fact that you can build a burger is always good because you can customise it to your likings. The chillies are so fresh and amazing.

It's quite new in N1 City, so we decided to give it a try. Still the same great service, food, yonke into. I wasn't disappointed. Will probably go back again some time this week❤

The feta bombs(6) are awesome starters! The burgers and fries were tasty. Lemon meringue milkshake was yummy. Enjoyed the overall experience.
