Review Ashley's Family Restaurant - Goodwood

We arrived and were immediately greeted and welcomed. We didn't have to wait for a table, but that was just lucky as the restaurant was packed. Our starter of crumbed mushrooms was absolutely delicious. The portion was amazing and my husband and I shared it. Our waiter was on point and the service was excellent. Because of the wonderful portion of mushrooms we decided to share a pizza and salad. Wow!!!!! I haven't had such a delicious pizza in ages. It was also great to meet Ashley who is just an amazing person. What a nice evening and we can't wait to try the Sunday roast buffet. Hats off to Ashley's what a nice experience!!!

Quality of food is excellent. Very large portions so we took home doggy bags. Owner run business which gives that extra touch. Service was top notch as well. Deserves a 5 - star rating.

Great Food, great Vibe… people so Friendly… and feel Safe in waiting area… some one walk me to my car… got my food got my friendliness dose….. im good for another year.. 🫣🤣

Haven’t been to Ashley’s in a while and they stilll don’t disappoint. Food is amazing! Pizzas are still as good as I remember. They even had a burger special which was a plus and don’t forgot the famous mojo jam jar! It’s a must have. Really loved going back food was good and can’t wait to go again.

What can i say except WOW, WOW, WOW! The food, service, atmosphere were excellent. Very affordable and just loved it. 😊 Wanted to marry the chef but the manager said there is more than one, now that will not work ....how do you choose😁😁😁 Thank you everyone for the Best Family Cooked Sunday Lunch ever.❤🤗

Don't just go there when you not hungry, i advise you to go with am empty stomach. The food is amazing and a lot...you will always return with a takeaway after you had dine in! Thank you Ashley's Family. I really did enjoy my money and your food.

My rowdy family had my surprise birthday party here, it was thoroughly enjoyable. The food and service was amazing, staff were on point, friendly atmosphere. Worth every cent as everyone left with doggy bags! Thank you Ashley's for hosting.

What an amazing experience! Best pizzas ever - fully loaded and a must for any family - this restaurant deserves their win from KFM 2022 & 2023. Will definitely go there again. PS: No WiFi but a plus for one on one attention with kids and parents 💯%

Pathetic, disgusting place ever. A friend of mine told me about a ball of private part hairs under his cheese pizza and exactly the 8 April 2018 I ordered a pizza, come to find a string of a private part hair in my cheese, out of curiosity I checked because I remembered what a friend of mine said and he was correct and to top it off a waitress behind the bar made a milkshake and she put chocolate in the glass with her bare hands. This place is really disgusting and it's really not a place you want to eat at.

We ate there on a few occasions and even arranged a family function there. We we never disappointed with the food, atmosphere nor the staff but, in fact were very impressed by the friendly service and overall ambiance. Love the owner, hard working people who always strive to please. Will definitely go back there again.

Ons ht slakke bestel vi voorgereg, dt ht ons nooit gesien nie. Ek ht rib en steak combo, my rib was so hard koni gesny kry en my steak was rou, k ht med bestel. Syne was gaar gaar en hy eet sy steak rou En toe kom di bestuurder en vra of ons half 11 ini aand ander kos wil hê of nie gaan betaal. En hy ht eerlik waar gelyk of hy hoop ons bestel nog kos?

Worst service. If a customer phones you for a pizza order and you advise 40 minutes it should be ready in 40 minutes nd not an hour and to top it off the dough is still raw. Total waste of money

Very disappointed in the service/food received. Last night my boyfriend and I visited your establishment for the carvery special. We immediately ordered our drinks and food. Firstly we waited 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive. When we received our cutlery and bread, the cutlery was dirty and the garlic bread was cold and hard. We then waited a further 30 minutes for our carveries to arrive. All of the food on the plate, except for the carrots, was cold - the spinach and butternut was so cold it was as if it came out the fridge. The meat was tough and being cold too, resulted in an unsatisfactory taste. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen, we were not asked at all how the food was by either the waiter or the manager nor whether we wanted to order more drinks. Also, the smoking section door was mostly open and it was rather unpleasant due to the smoke wafting through the restaurant.

Was my daughter first birthday . 1st of all the waiter was moody and wen i asked to sing for her they didn't . like donur work with a passion not be moody with ur customers and stop rushing ppl to eat finish. We all wait long enough in a line to be treated shit

Hey, so we had a late supper Ashleys tonight and the service was excellent... we didnt even wait long for our favourite District 6 pizza. but we were very surprised at the little topping on it. It was really disappointing. We could count the pieces of steak on it. The hot chips we ordered was over fried and had little to no spice on it. I just thought I would let you guys know the food sucked tonight!!

Cozy place with good quality food and a menu that is better than Spar Steak Ranch
