Review O Cantinho - Germiston

Went to a baby shower held in a little undercover courtyard in the centre of the nursery. The nursery is a little gem with smaller shops encompassing the outer pathways, a little coffee shop, a play area for kiddies. We had platters done up from the venue which were delicious. And hiring that section was affordable. Only downside is when loadshedding started that fan stopped and no familiar generator sound to keep the guests cool. The other negative was the ladies room had no working light on the day. Definitely recommend a walk around and a stop off for a bite and something cool to drink and take home a beautiful plant.

Quiet breakfast. Sitting on the verandas you overlook a play area for children and a magnificent tree. Food quality was good, wrll priced but service could have been more friendly. An interesting place. The restaurant forms part of a garden shop, function rooms and smaller shops and services. We went after our parkrun at Victoria Lake.

Wow, what an experience! We went for a ladies tea and the place is phenomenal. Including but not limited to, an exotic pet store, a hairdresser, a venue space large enough for over 100 people, a nursery and a restaurant. The catering was very good and the time we spent there was absolutely super!

A breeze of fresh air breakfast or lunch on the deck with a background of a nursery abundant with beautiful flowers and enthralling scent. Relaxed atmosphere and great service and not to forget a wider menu of unassuming traditional country touch selection with reasonable prices.

Always a pleasant experience. Beautiful setting. It is a community favourite for casual dining. Small safe play area for children. The Crystal Room is perfect for small venues. The plant section offers buyers a good variety. Satellite shops add variety.

Best little centre in Germiston. Wonderful setting, peaceful and calm. Dont go if you in a hurry, service and pace are laid back. You go for peace

Its okay, I was quite disappointed basing my expectations on previous reviews. <br/>Prices are high for what you get and service isnt the best (very slow and didnt check on us) and didn't see any real management. But I will give them credit that it is clean.

In Lambton we found this place upstairs, I was told that they are a year old but don't believe that as the place seems pretty new although I could be wrong. <br/><br/>The staff were very friendly & helpful, for a change we had good service (they were quiet for a mid Friday afternoon).<br/><br/>We sat outside and it was a hot day & if I had to be petty a fan would have been nice but I'm being silly now!<br/><br/>The food was fantastic we were three & all of us are foodies people & can find fault pretty quickly, especially when we paying. I loved my Cod fish & my colleagues enjoyed there fish too.<br/><br/>I will definitely be back ...

Good old portuguese cuisine! Love their steaks and calamari, will keep trying new dishes everytime i go back but so far so good! You wont find this kind of cooking in most protuguese restaurants now a days, its a real gem and wont break the bank.

U have to try there Half chicken meal with chips and salad..R60 bargain and insanely Awesome Tasting chicken <br/>No Jokes!!!! <br/>Keep it up guys

Ventured out to this little Portuguese place hidden away in Germiston after the locals had been raving about it. Must say a very good experience. Had the trinchada and it must have been one of the tender ive ever eaten. I Liked how they ask you how you would like the steak in your trinchada done which was a first. The decor is a bit bright but over all very friendly staff and a good ambience.
