Breakfast after park run was very disappointing, I was not asked how I want my eggs prepared when I ordered my breakfast and when I got the eggs on my plate they where like rubber and dry, had to swallow it down with coffee which was at least good and the price is low if not for that my rating would have been even less.. 😜

Mrs. Sippi Blues is the kind of restaurant you would enjoy if your culinary tastes are stagnated within the boundaries of homemade 'student food' - created on a strict budget where taste isn't of importance.

Food arrived after a 1 hour and 30 minute wait time.

The Nacho's (R67) were concocted from cheese Doritos, that had been smothered in generic cheese sauce, topped with cheddar cheese and a quarter of a Jalapeño. The guacamole consisted of pieces of avocado, that weren't even crushed. Extra chicken was added, sadly it was rather rubbery. The meal was somewhat tasty, but thrown off for being soggy and lacking substance.

The steak egg roll arrived with a salad. The salad was decent and smothered in salad dressing. The roll was stale, the egg was raw and the steak was tough. No sauce accompanied the meal. Disappointing and definitely not worth the R63.

In short, Mrs. Sippi Blues is situated in a lovely, although slightly dilapidated, Gilooly's Farm park. Unfortunately, the view isn't nearly enough to distract from the truly disappointing culinary offerings. One would be better off packing his/her own lunch than ordering food from Mrs. Sippi Blues.

This is our favourite place to bring our little pug pepper the service and food is always good and the owner is so friendly. It's always nice finding a place that allows dogs

This place has so much potential. It's in need of some serious TLC. It's in a beautiful spot but needs a little bit of work. We love relaxing by the water but often have to sit at broken tables under broken umbrellas. Service is not great and you often have to wait ages to be served. The food is really good and makes for a great relaxing lunch. I really wish more care would be taken because this place could be 5/5.

Chilled; relaxing - great for a Sunday out of the house. Kids playing, feeding the ducks, dogs everywhere- very homely family vibe. Service & waiters a bit short & unfriendly.

I love the vibe, because you can sit outside and it is dog friendly.

The food were very good, and the service good even though it was busy.

I haven't eaten here in almost 15 years! I'd love to know what people think? Anyone want to share their experience? It's such a beautiful place to spend the weekend out of the house, but does the restaurant offer anything worthy of our appetites?
