Venue small and intimate - not a lot of atmosphere.......Service is NON existing, the waitresses have no clue, they are slow, not interested, you have to repeat orders 5 times, then still get up and remind them. The food was spectacular though, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the food alone will take me back in a heartbeat!!!!!!

The place was a bit small but judging that it doesn't get too packed at once it's alright.
The prices were decent and the service was alright. I would recommend this for a lazy night where one has no expectations of the atmosphere but just to get their tummy filled.

I really enjoy the Korean BBQ as you can cook your own food, so quite fun with the whole family. You get free starter platters with the traditional korean food, remember, its SPICY!!! Seating is comfortable and service is to standard.

Great Spicy Korean BBQ. The Kimchi was some of the best I've had in South Africa, and there was a good selection of fresh pickles and condiments to go with the BBQ. Will definitely be back.

If you like to cook your own food, then this is the place for you! The food is very tasty we had the pork, beef and prawn and egg fried rice would recommend for a new experience!

Not even remotely close to Korean cuisine. Side dishes unnecessarily hot and sweet, nor are they fresh.

Disappointed by the quality of food and the ingredients - completely different from the traditional Korean food in terms of appearance and taste.

Utter rubbish. Not worth coming.

It was our first time trying Korean bbq. A truly unique experience. The food and service were excellent! We will definitely be going back very soon 😊

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit with friends. Definitely a unique concept for our area and culture, however I can imagine that it is big in Asia and that we'll see more of it. Very interactive and fun, definitely worth a try!

Seoul delicious is Korean, the food is all raw and u gotta cook it yourself which is a nice way of breaking the ice on a first date! Keep your legs to yourself as their are hot Coles under the table and I burnt my leg very bad. The beef and the prawns and green veggies are the best! It's very tender and nicely spiced.

They have photos of everyone that's ever been there on their wall, so don't forget to add your memory!

As a big fan of Asian cuisine, especially Korean, I was excited to visit Seoul Delicious. Unfortunately we only finished our drinks and left very disappointed. The lighting in the restaurant is very bright and unflattering and loud local hip hop was blasted from the TV screen which was tuned to the Trace channel. The waiters were very friendly, but seemed lost. The menu looked fantastic and the only other table in the restaurant's food looked and smelled delicious. We just couldn't go through with the horrible ambiance and decided to go somewhere else.

I am sure if the owner of the restaurant sort out the lighting and create a more authentic Korean atmosphere, I will give it another go.

I'm writing this review after my 3rd time eating at this place. It has quickly become one of my favourites, since it serves excellent food for a very decent price - certainly compared to other Korean restaurants in Joburg. The portions of the mains are generous and beautifully plated (I'm a sucker for good crockery, though). I highly recommend the bibimbap and grilling your own meat at the table - it's fast, tasty (the meat is marinated too) and the accompanying sauces/spices really enliven the dish.

The restaurant is best experienced in the evenings/at night, if only for the low lighting and intimate setting. The polaroids of previous customers on the wall with sweet messages are a cute touch. The waiters are attentive and friendly.

One complaint would be the menu - the actual food is amazing, but the menu itself can be very misleading or incomprehensible! The restaurant is not owned by Koreans, so the Korean text is (apparently) inaccurate. The english text is sometimes poorly translated as well, and inexperienced diners of Korean food will be SO confused. Fortunately there are many pictures, which help with figuring out what a dish is. In any case, the waiters seem to be knowledgeable and can help you out :)

All in all, Seoul Delicious is well worth the journey for us non-Easterners.

Seriously though, try the bibimbap.

Wrapping up #TastyTuesday with an unexpected joy of a dinner!

Great things happen when you try new things! And so it did!

Seoul delicious had us in oooohs, aaahs and a whole lot of "this is so delicious" for the entire meal. Neatly set up in a cute space on the first floor of Key West Shopping Centre, we were first skeptical as we had no idea why the set up was that way.

Getting over it immediately got excited at the idea of cooking your choice of meats and sides. Amazing concept!

We loved every bite! Every sizzle tantalized the appetite and just made you want more. We underestimated the portions- very very generous! A young doggy bag came along with us!

We have found a place we never expected to LOVE this much. Service was 100% too!

So glad I dragged mom and the sister! Enough... Check out the pics below! This is a MUST try!

#TastyTuesday #TriedSomethingNew #KoreanBBQ #LoveFood

Spicy food lovers will enjoy this place.

One of the unique places where you can have a Korean BBQ, one of the less pricy option compared to the Korean cuisine by Sandton, each item on the menu has a photo so you can see exactly what you are going to get.

Friendly Owner are there to recommend dishes for you. Although decor is simple but Everything is neat and tidy.

Every table has a round top in the middle for the bbq and there's a extractor on top that can be pulled up if not in use. They use coats and not gas so the grilled items are more tasty than when gas is applied.

We ordered cold tofu, fried neng gao (Korean rice dumpling fried in a sweet and sour sauce), bibimbap (mixed rice, a variety of veggies, sauces and topped with egg), and Korean bbq (wings, pepper beef, some pork)

There's some complimentary starters (kimchi, tofu strips and seaweed) which was appetizing.
Food came quite quickly and it was to me quite enjoyable since I haven't had it for awhile.
Korean bbq is very good. Meat is marinaded before hand. The bibimbap is a must!

Have to say it is more Chinese than Korean because the owner is actually Chinese but food was fresh, and tasty~ waitresses do need more training. Owner is more helpful.

Well we were quite ready to go here for dinner based on the reviews we'd read but as we approached he door we noticed that there were some people inside smoking. A waitress came over and opened the door for us and we told her that we weren't actually willing to come inside to eat as people were inside smoking. So she just shrugged and said ok, and closed the door. This, on a Sunday night when it was really not busy!! Some places clearly are so unwilling to make even the slightest effort.

Another hidden gem of Bedfordview. I had never even thought of eating Korean food until I went there. It was such a nice and intimate experience and I will always hold it close to my heart.

The best part of this place is the Korean BBQ. I love the spices that they put on the meat and I actually find it quite entertaining sitting there cooking your own food. The bibimbap was really good as well as the kimchi fried rice. The nibbles that they serve as a "starter" has a good variety and it tastes good as well.

The waitress was friendly although I got the feeling that she didn't really know what was going on.

Went for dinner at Seoul delicious withy family on Sunday. The interior is modern. Each table is equipped with a korean barbecue stand along with its own individual extractor fan extending into the ceiling. What is also nice is that they have a picture wall of all the customers that have eaten there before. Will definately spend time looking for your picture of you been before as there are quite a lot of photos up.

The owner greeted us as we arrived and quickly organised us a table. We were a large group so we were separated into two tables which wasn't a problem which made it hard to speak to the other people. This review will be on the experience on my table.

The waitress then gave out the menus and took our drink orders. We ordered a jug of cold tea for the table. We also ordered a coca cola and hot water later on that evening. The drinks came quickly and we proceeded to order the food.

We ordered a bibimbap to share, korean sushi rolls, fried rice, chicken wings seafood pancake pie, beef and lamb skewers and a cold tofu with garnish. For the barbecue side we ordered beef, pork ribs and calamari along with a basket of lettuce. We were also served with 6 small dishes of korean nibbles like kimchi, seaweed and vegetables but to name a few.

The bibimbap is a combination of rice egg and vegetables and meat that is served in a hot pot. One mixed all the ingredients together before eating it. It tasted good and there is a bit of spice to the dish. But was still enjoyed nontheless. Next we got the barbecue dishes. The meats we got were a bit bland and hardly had any taste while the calamari was a bit better. The sauces we got were too small and had to ask for more to be bought to the table. We had to be done 3 or 4 times as the waitress kept forgetting. The korean sushi rolls were good as well,

The other dishes seemed to be more chinese orientated, The beef and lamb kebabs were full of flavor and done nicely, just one thing was that we had to return our lamb kebabs as they weren't fully cooked, but otherwise very nice when we got it back. The fried rice was definately chinese. I found this bland as well and lacked something. I ended up having to add some of the korean sauces to add some flavour. He tofu was done nicely as well and consists of blocks of tofu with chilli preserved egg, spring onion and what I think was garlic. The seafood pie took the longest to come out and by the time it did we were all pretty full from all the food ordered.

All in all a pretty decent outing. The owner is very friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The service from the waitress's isn't bad but I would see them struggle of it got really busy. The food is average to good and more attention needs to be paid onto the flavor.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food. The hostess is very helpful, she advised us well with the selection of the food and her friendliness was refreshing.

As my mother is korean I am always craving home cooking so I was beyond excited to discover a Korean restaurant 15 minutes from home. Sad to say I was very disappointed. This place is not korean at all. The cold noodle dishes used the wrong ingredients down to the wrong noodles. The side dishes were more of a Chinese influence. I was so upset that I would have to travel further afield to satisfy my taste buds. The owner was very friendly but the waitress seemed lost. I imagine the BBQ would be nice but without the right dishes on the side I am not too interested in coming back. In conclusion, rather sell the image of an Asian BBQ restaurant and cut back on the other dishes.

Ok, this is definitely not Korean, but Chinese food.

The interior of the Seoul Delicious has quite a clean, contemporary look compared to its tacky exterior. Each table is equipped with an extendable extractor fan for the Korean BBQ, which can be collapsed when it's not being used. The menu although is more Chinese-orientated, each dish does have an English name and the owner also speaks English. The waitress is friendly, but doesn't seem to know what she's doing. I had to ask for the Cappuccino three times, and doesn't seem to know what drinks they have in stock.

The Korean BBQ is absolutely delicious, and it came with lettuce and some different dipping sauce. I'd definitely recommend ordering the Korean BBQ and share it amongst the table. The other dishes we ordered are bland, lack dimensions, and are rather disappointing since I was expecting Korean food, not Chinese. The cold noodles (see photos) come with a sweetish soup, which is too sweet for my taste and we all struggled to finish. Since we asked for a vegetarian version, the sides only include some carrots, cucumbers and side veggies and are completely not worth the price. The same goes for the stone hot pot. The rice topped with calamari has a sweet and sour sauce, which lacks dimension and every bite is just the same as the previous. Not exciting, not inspiring, and just plain edible.

Bottomline: Not coming back.

Pros: The Korean BBQ is nice, but to be honest it's pretty hard to screw up.
Cons: Confused waitress, don't like the food.

A breath of fresh air! It felt like I teleported to Korea:) From the street below the restaurant appears to be a little tacky with bright LED Lights all over the entrance, until you get inside! It's here that you realise it's a well dressed restaurant and the bling outside is all about giving you an authentic experience, Seoul, brights lights, big city. Each table has its own built in coal stove and extendable extractor fan, very novel! The food is delicious, the service is great and the owner, Kerry, takes the time to make it a personal experience. #FullAndHappy
