The entrecôte steak was a little underwhelming. I had heard good reviews and perhaps I chose badly the night I went. Besides the steak, the service was excellent, the ambiance was perfect and the waiter was attentive and helpful.
Went to this Turn ‘n Tender last Saturday to celebrate my mother’s birthday and I must say it was quite a lovely experience. I ordered the “cut for two” and shared it with my cousin and there were 4 sides that accompanied it as well as 2 sauces. We chose the fillet cut steak and it was simply amazing. In essence I’d like to give a 4.5/5. The service was amazing. They sang really beautifully for my mom and at the end of our meal we got complementary milk tart shots on the house! Will certainly be back for another “cut for two” experience with my significant other.
Great steaks (and they know how to cook them properly) craft beer on tap and good selection of deserts + ribs (pork & beef) and fish/calamari.
***none of their 6 steak sauces appealed, so I ask my waiter if they could make one for me, told him what ingredients I wanted in it and how to prep it... no problem!!! The made my steak sauce specifically for me how I like it*** service was great and quality of food brilliant.
Call to Book if you decide to go there, they have extra tables outside the main entrance, inside has a nicer ambiance so request a table inside... if they are already filled up.
Had a great meal with my wife, this restaurant has a romantic atmosphere.
The food is amazing, I would definitely recommend the grilled biltong & mozerella burger.
For desert the pina colada cheesecake was what I had and it was also very delicious..

This is Generally a good restaurant. Went on a Monday and it was still full. So I suggest you do book a table. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. The food is done well and quick. Ordered food and got it within the next 10 to 15 min.
We have passed this restaurant so many times without trying it and what a loss for us! We went out last night with friends and we finally had a meal here. The experience was amazing! From the time we sat down to the time we left, our waitress was knowledgeable,attentive and excellent. The food from steak to borewors,salads,pap,chips and wine. To the speciality dessert cakes at the end was all fabulous,delicious and above average! Going back soon thank you!

If you're going to Turn 'n Tender, you must have a steak. Mature atmosphere, fairly classy with friendly service. Dimmed lights set a romantic tone (great for couples).
The food was delicious. For starters we had the biltong board - a must try for biltong lovers or haters. They offer a really interesting selection of biltong served in many ways - carpaccio, pâté etc. For mains we had the T-bone and the fillet; both excellent choices.

Although known for your steaks, i had the prawns and i was not disappointed! I really enjoyed our evening as there was a great vibe and great service too. A bit pricey but worth it!

Boyfriend was in the mood for a steak, and after hearing great things about this restaurant we decided to give it a try.
Our waitress, though I've forgotten her name, was lovely, very knowledgeable and very helpful when my boyfriend accidently spilled his drink. The manager was kind enough to offer another one, once he saw what happened, but my boyfriend settled on a glass of water instead.
Our steaks were perfectly cooked, though we overestimated the size of the portion and the price, so in that we were disappointed, but looking back the quality made it worthwhile so we'll just have to come back for a bigger portion when we're in need of a spoil.
The steak is obviously amazing, also tried the bone marrow sauce which was fantastic. The ambience was, well, rad, service also quite expertly trained, bringing samples to us and explaining what portion, how cooked, taste descriptions etc. Was very interesting, waited a tad too long for the food though.
Wow what a great Womens Day choice. A classic franchise with a unique and personal touch. The steak, poker ribs, fillet and seafood curry we had were ALL top notch. Ambiance including music, lighting and decor is understated in spite of the expected largely grill house menu. I've left the best to last. Our waiter was fantastic (?Ash?). Attentive, knowledgeable and just friendly enough to make the evening laid back. We will be back!!

My family and I had the most fantastic meal that we've had out in a long while. We each had a steak and calamari combo and the steaks were perfectly done, tender and juicy while the calamari was soft and flavourful. For dessert we had the brandy buttered apples and ice cream and chocolate sauce - both were just sweet enough and the portion sizes were very generous. Excellent resturant and I look forward to going back soon.

Definitely one of my favourite restaurants for steak. We have had many excellent meals here, and I think their pricing is fair.
On our last visit we really had the most excellent waiter - unfortunately I've forgotten his name, but he was friendly, efficient and also thoughtful. I feel he really went above and beyond.

Been here multiple times..The main reason is that one knows for a fact that the quality of food and the value for money won't let you down. You can always get a table even if it's on the day you plan an evening out, it's always good to know that a place like that exists.
I would have preferred adding a higher rating , however the main reason I haven't is because the service always disappoints me, especially when the place is filling up, I find that the quality of effort from the staff diminishes and you have trouble finding them when you need them. Also they lack knowledge on their wines, for example The Hermanuspieterfontein - Die Martha and the Kleinboet are not the same wine, same estate but not the same wine and having a waiter argue with you about it and bring you the wrong wine initially which you drink and then the correct one as the second bottle leaves a bitter taste in one's mouth.
Other than the above the food is excellent and the atmosphere well it's a little intrusive with the other people listening in on your conversation. Not a place you will take your first date to.
Always a favorite been there a few times now and never had a bad meal. Must mention the waiting staff who are excellent. Service from the kitchen may be a tad slow sometimes but the wait is always worth it. The mushroom side is always a winner and the rest of the red meat menu is outstanding which is what one would expect from a steak house but here they really go above and beyond. Keep it up!

The steak did however make up for it. Had it with delicious sauce. Must try.

I must give credit where it is due. We are a (demanding) group of 11 and have an annual get-together at a steakhouse. I was reluctant to return to a Turn 'n Tender since our last experience in Illovo was less than satisfactory.
I must say this time round, they got it close to spot-on at the Bedfordview restaurant. I did have a quiet word with the manager beforehand, so I am sure that helped, but the service was fantastic and our main waiter (Emmanuel) was brilliant. I had a Argentinian-style 300gr fillet steak with baked potato and sour cream, which has to rate as one of the better steaks I have ever had. Everyone (bar one person - hence the .5 of a point off) had a near-perfect meal. I don't normally have a sweet tooth, but the deserts were superb, too. Great experience all round!

Had an overall great meal tonight. The men loved their steaks. I had a cheese burger. The burger was great but the tasteless processed cheese was a let down and there was no cheese sauce on the side like the menu stated. Bar one cheesecake was amazing!
An exceptional restaurant. Starter avo ritz and squid heads. Mains of ostrich fillet with pap and gravy and pork ribs and 200g rump combo. Dessert creme brulee. All the food came very quickly and with a smile. The service from phoning and booking until the bill was paid was consistently great. I will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Turn 'n Tender.
Tuesday evening, restaurant filled up quite quickly and I can see why. Lovely service by Andrew, attentive staff who swiftly removed dishes as soon as we were done. Fantastic fillet, done to perfection. My partner had a lamb steak with pap which was also fantastic. We had the speciality ferrero rocher desert to share and it was also phenomenal. Managers check on us throughout. Lovely evening from start to end.
18:50 Arrived, Ordered a Jack Black Lager while waiting for a friend to arrive, great atmosphere and friendly service so far. Waiting time on beer about 2min. Restaurant about 70% full. Spotted a frame on one of the centre pillars indicating "Zomato Users Choice"
19:00 Friend arrived and we decided to go straigt for mains. I had the Brians Ribeye on the bone with a Camembert & Port topping.
20:00 Time to go back to the hotel.
Overall this was a really good experience with nice food. I have to say that I will come back time and time again.

Great special on at the moment, and well worth it! Service was mediocre although we were shown this amazingly impressive dessert selection! I'd say this was above your usual, average steakhouse. Turn n Tender ups the game just slightly, and guarantees you'll always be back for a return visit!
Love this place and would gladly go back. Food was excellent and everybody was nice and friendly. Atmosphere very relaxed and romantic, perfect place for any meat lover and the desserts was magical. Definitely can't be on a diet when you plan on going there.
The place to go for your red meat fix, Turn n Tender is always good and consistently puts out great food. Tried the Marrow Bones (new menu item) which were great and recommended for lovers of marrow. We had an Entrecôte steak and tried the "Snail, Garlic and Brandy" sauce for the first time which was also good. The other meal was a a fillet done Argentinian style, which was cooked more to Well Done than Medium but was still good.
Atmosphere
- Not anything to write home about. Not much of an atmosphere.
- Crowded and tables close to each other and therefore there is a likelihood that a neighboring table could spoil an evening out.....:(

- Tasty food but with not much creative presentation.

This restaurant has a very welcoming and warm scenery, lovely chestnut brown tones,candles lit and seating arrangement is cosy.

Turn 'n Tender seemed like a good choice for Father's Day! Seeing as we made a last minute booking our table of 26 was well seated and taken care off. Staff and management were extremely attentive and friendly. All the food - from the salads, to the steaks, chicken and seafood were beautifully done and throughly enjoyed by all! Desserts were also a treat - Belgian chocolate mousse is divine.
Quick and efficient service. Friendly and polite staff members. The seating on the tented stoep next to the heater was warm and cosy. Again the food didn't disappoint. The chicken schnitzel with veggies is recommendable and a nice hearty plate of winter comfort food without the guilt. Great quick dinner. Will return.
Very good lunch with a really good steak. For me the restaurant lacks atmosphere and turns out to be just another venue.., the food though is really above average. There are better restaurants that offers far more for the price you pay by comparison.

So, I was looking for a good lunch and I stumbled across this place. At first, I could not find the entrance until a maitre D opened the door and seated me. Service was great as the waiter was friendly and showed me how to enjoy the steak tartare ( which I had for the first time.) The tartare was great as well as the sirloin. The texture was great and I could taste the chargrilled flavour. Overall, great experience. Obviously, the excellence would be depending on the time you visit the place.
This week special, R39 for a sirloin with any sides between chips salad and bake potatoe. This looks like a 300g steak to me... it the perfect medium rare I wanted. Service was good even though we only ordered the lunch special. Very impressed.
Even though there's a birthday special going on currently (R39 for a 300g sirloin) the quality is nothing short of spectacular! Amazing food ( one of the best steaks I've had), slightly less polished waitron, and overall a good experience. Drinks and additional sauces can be pricey though. Definitely recommended. Thomas Mason

We came here for lunch last Sunday afternoon and decided to get the deboned leg of lamb that's meant for two. The waiter was quite pushy and insisted it wouldn't be enough for the two of us, because 800g shrinks quite a bit apparently. We ordered it anyway, and it was so much food that I ended up taking half of it as leftovers. The lamb was tender and flavourful, but it should have come with some sort of gravy.
We also had a chicken livers starter and the sauce was incredible, but the bread that came with it was a bit stale and not the greatest. Despite the pushy waiter we had an excellent meal. And the Turn 'n Tender standard is still held quite high at this branch.

Since the price of red meat is set to drastically increase in the coming months, we decided to get as much delicious steak in our systems as possible. So for date night we headed to Turn 'n Tender. It's a great place for a romantic evening, the mood lighting and intimate setting really sets the scene. The waiters are lovely and attentive and managers are always on hand.
For starters we had the calamari, which was so tender and full of lemon buttery goodness. Definitely a must have, even a larger portion as a main would be fantastic. My boyfriend had the classic burger which was simple but delicious. The chips weren't the greatest. I had the entrecôte steak which was cooked to perfection and went so well with the creamy mushroom and feta topping. The veg on the side was also yum. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert but it all looked amazing.
Ate an amazing blue cheese burger and blue cheese salad, both were fantastic and prepared exactly to my order. Great service and well priced food. Will definitely be back. Keep it up guys!!
Wow wow wow. Boyfriend surprised me for valentines day lunch and we ventured to this turn and tender! What a lovely experience our waiter was so knowledgeable and both our steaks were cooked to our own perfection. We opted for the honeycomb cheesecake which was over delectable. Very good service and everything was on point even tho they were full. Defenatley a great dinning experience! Thank you T&T!!

It was a Thursday night and I didn't feel like cooking so we hit Turn 'n Tender what great service waiters were so friendly, we were on diet and the food suited our dietary needs (no basting no spices etc) really a great restaurant thumbs up!
Meat was excellent, very nice cuts... I ordered medium to rare and it was medium to rare, that making a difference to the majority of the steakhouses. It made me remember the steaks I ate 30 years ago when I began visiting South Africa!
Friendly and great staff a very enjoyable night. Have always grilled my steak correctly, definitely recommended if you craving some good meat.
Turn n Tender definitely lead the way when it comes to getting the ideal steak. The Bedfordview branch has the best management I have come across in Gauteng. The dessert menu also has some interesting variations. Try the fondant is you are into decadent treats.

I was hosting an American work colleague and decided to try Turn 'n Tender. The food was absolutely fantastic with unique cuts of meat which I had not experienced before I had the fillet on the bone which was delicious and cooked exactly as I wanted it. The presentation of bringing the cuts to the table is an excellent idea. Our service and in particular our waiter Hillary was fantastic. He looked after us brilliantly and enjoyed some fun banter with our American guest. My colleague felt that Turn 'n Tender was the best restaurant that he ate at during his trip to SA.
If you like your steak then Turn & Tender is for you, but it has something for everyone. Delicious food and very good portions too. The salads are huge you can definitely share. The best Bar One cheese cake. Excellent service every time we go there .

Great steakhouse all the classics, the buffalo wings with the tangy blue cheese sauce is delicious, their T-bone was cooked to perfection, choose your sauce our favorite is the bordelaise with bone marrow. Good, spacious atmosphere for a steakhouse. The staff are attentive and the menu has a great selection. At times my meat has been on the overdone side but overall very good.
How can you complain about eating good meat :) I can't say that I was let down at all. I was particularly impressed with the wine selection. Such a big impact to get to pair your steaks with such a big variety. The only downside is that it is a bit pricy. That would be my only worrying factor.

Brilliant food and staff! If you're looking for a great steak, this is it! Waiters are attentive but not overbearing and have a good knowledge of the menu. The wine list is great too. Don't expect to get a table on a Fri or Sat night without a booking, this place gets packed (for good reason). Great for a date night or for a business dinner.

All I can say is WOW. It is usually quite difficult to impress me, but I must say that Turn 'n Tender has genuinely impressed me.
I came here on a cold Sunday afternoon, with my family, and boy did we enjoy ourselves. I had the blue cheese burger. It was simply delicious. The patty was juicy, the cheese had a very strong taste which I enjoy. One of the best burgers that I have ever had.
After that I had some dessert. Again spot on. The Ferrero Richer dessert was very rich, and I needed some help from my family to finish it.
In conclusion, definitely a place to try out :)
Packed out on a Saturday night (which is a good sign), but still had snappy service and perfectly cooked steak. Great no-frills steak and sides, and steak generally always cooked to perfection. Crispy onion rings go down a treat. Finished with an Amarula Creme Brûlée for dessert, but sugar crust was a touch too thin.
Probably the best Turn and Tender, the calamari is amazing some of the best calamari I have had anywhere! The ribs are awesome and spinach is delicious! Great service too!

Went for dinner last night . BF had the 400g fillet which looked worth the money , I had the Calamari main which was rubbery and bland , had to cover it in the chips tartar sauce to make it edible . Not too sure we will be back .

Great mainstream restaurant. Im not a fan on chain restaurants, but turn 'n tender has never disappointed. We were there when they just opened and they didn't have a liquor license. They were accommodating to bringing your own wine. The service was great and the food delicious. Certainly worth a visit if you feel like a good steak or meat dish and don't mind the family friendly nature of the chain.
Great steak....Side order portion size of pap does not live up to the price. Side blue cheese salad was excellent. Blue cheese Chicken wing starter basting was not crispy. Liver starter sauce was bbq?

I have heard so much about the Turn n' Tender from friends that I decided it was time to try it. I was not disappointed. Experienced a very pleasant, delicious family Sunday Lunch at this establishment. We all had the Point Rump steak with bordelaise sauce on the side. They cooked it to our specifications exactly and their wide selection of side dishes was impressive. The wine selection offers a good variety of wines and we found a bottle of Warwick First Lady Cabernet Sauvignon a very good complement to our meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was patient and made an admirable effort to be accommodating. Overall, my expectations were met by good service and delicious food. We will return for sure!

Dessert was the creme brûlée. Average dessert.
As good as their Illovo branch and closer to work. Nothing says lunch like steak and nothing makes returning to the office better than a belly full of deliciousness.
The cardinal rules of steak at T&T:

2. Get basting sauce on the side
3. Order it slightly undercooked for your preference and get it on a hot skillet.

I generally like Turn 'n Tender, and I believe their steak is of rather good quality and not obnoxiously expensive. The Bedfordview branch is the same. The service is friendly, and the managers even came to double-check our order. He thought we ordered quite a lot of food between four people, so came to clarify if everything was correct. We were hungry, and we ordered a lot, but it was a nice that they are cautious rather than charging us a lot for nothing.
We ordered a couple of different steaks. The 600g Meneer was perfectly cooked to medium-rare, however, the others were slightly inconsistent. The fillet from Steven's Sensation was partly medium-well and partly medium-rare. The parts that were medium-rare were delicious, well-seasoned and tender. The herbs for the lamb chops were completely burnt, so that made the lamb chops rather bitter since it was difficult to get all the herbs off. However, the squid heads special was delicious, amazing size-to-portion ratio.
The cakes were beautiful, but overpriced and way too sweet. The waiters actually brought us each a glass of water without us asking him, because he knew it was super sweet (great service though!). The cakes were dense, a little on the dry side and the icing was super thick. We had to take them away because even sharing we couldn't finish it. The creme brulee they made in-house was much more delicious
Bottomline: I really hope next time I come back, they up their standards a little.

Family table 12 people. Our waiter "Joe" was on the ball. Craft beer on tap? the rib and chicken combo was great. Peri-peri really was!!!!! Awesome evening
The service was excellent, the waiter was attentive, the order was perfect and the ambience was perfect for a date night. I would highly recommend this fir a Friday night to unwind
Had lunch here over the weekend and although the food was good, it did not impress the way I had expected. Atmosphere and service were excellent. I ordered the seafood soup which was excellent but was rather disappointed by the stale bread it arrived with. For my main I ordered the not so full rack of ribs and my husband the oxtail poitje. The poitje arrived beautifully in a small pot but we both agreed that we wished that both dishes had been a little more "cared for". The meat in both dishes seemed to just stick to the bones instead of falling off the bone. We will try again but perhaps we will stick to steaks next time. Also wish the vegetables were a bit different than the standard spinach, butternut and cabbage.
This is the best Turn 'n Tender we have been too. The food was amazing; the desserts even better and our waiter Sipho was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is obviously very well run and the staff are the best we have seen. You can definitely expect to see us again!
The best of all the turn and tender restaurants in Johannesburg. The service is unbelievable and the food and setting definitely compliment this. Steak is always cooked to perfection and I can never get enough.
I had a wonderful and huge potion of roast vegetables cooked to perfection. The maitre d was welcoming and the staff helpful and friendly. Turn 'n Tender offers refined yet easy dining at reasonable pricing with great service to match. Turn 'n Tender is perfect for an evening out with the whole family.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The starters are tasty and the fillet steak is delicious. The steak salad is one of my favourites and I'd highly recommend it. The fillet medallion special is exquisite and the steak is so tender.The cocktails are good too. I tried the desserts for the first time yesterday and I was so impressed as they were so fresh and delicious and looked almost too good to eat!
Warm friendly staff welcome you like friends and are always accommodating. I have always been impressed with the food at this t&t outlet. Good steak cooked perfectly. Family friendly and a good one to make yourself a regular at. The staff remember you and give you that little bit extra.

It was a hot sticky Sunday & we felt like somewhere different to eat.
We weren't sure about the restaurant & the over full car park made us wonder more?
Anyway we decided to try. The restaurant is in a shopping centre & it is a large restaurant with a lot of tables.
We were greeted in a very friendly manner & given a choice of tables & all could accommodate our pram.
The waiter was great and turned the presentation of the specials into a theatrical performance. It was cool.
We had Halloumi & calamari for starter since . It was juicy & delicious. The calamari was tender & soft & tasty.
My wife had a fillet on the bone & I had a calamari mains.
The wife thoroughly enjoyed her steak & the bone marrow sauce.
Calamari was great.
Then came the amazing collection of deserts. Oh Lord, how devine & decadent
Overall the whole experience was great. Managers & all the waiters were friendly & determined to make our visit special & they succeeded.

Celebrated my birthday here. Excellent chicken schnitzel, filet steak with generous portions of veggies.Very reasonably priced.Wine selection is good. Service is superb.Famous brands have got this one right.
This is one of my favourite steak houses in Johannesburg. It is child friendly and perfect for a family night out. The food is always great and the prices are really reasonable. The fillet on the bone is a great speciality dish and served with the bone marrow sauce its enough to satisfy any meat lovers appetite. The management team go out of their way to make sure you have a great night.
Had a wonderful evening with my family! Atmosphere was calm and soothing and very inviting of wine! The food was exquisite! Next time I'll ask to see the dessert first as I ran out of room for it and it looked delicious!

I took my baby out as I wanted to spoil her, I decided to try Turn 'n Tender a try. making a reservation was easy, the person answering the phone was friendly and spoke well.
We arrived at around 19h00 and was shown to our tables, there was a crowd a few tables away that was so loud. We stood up and requested another table which was arranged within 5 minutes. Kieth our waitor arrived, my girl says he is a Taye Diggs lookalike lol. Anyhow he is so suave he managed to make us have starters, main and dessert.
We had buffalo wings for starters which I must admit I had better elsewhere. It came with some sweet and spicy sauce and blue cheese sauce. If you like blue cheese than this will be awesome, if not give it a skip. The wings were crumbed and deep fried. overall taste was ok.
On comes mains, I had a T - bone with mash and veges. The meat was done perfectly, the mash was a bit too thick and not a proper puree as mash should be, it lacked a bit of seasoning. The veges was your normal run of the mill pumpkin and creamed spinach. to be honest I expected more than just creamed spinach and pumpkin, a restaurant of this calibre should offer a better variety. my partner had fillet medallions with a steak Diane sauce.. that came with rice and stir fry veges which incident I stole from her lol. The medallions were amazing and the rice good. stir fry veges were just perfect.
Dessert was their new chocolate mousse which was enough for two and man alive was that nice.
So on a whole my experience at this restaurant was great, the waitor were all so friendly and Kieth certainly knew what was served on the dish and what the ingredients it had. He described all the dishes to a "T" hence he sold us on all three meals.
So if I had some constructive criticism, I would say the wings tasted floury, the veges for main should be more than your normal creamed spinach and pumpkin and one should be advised as to what the veges of the day we're ( Kieth did apologise in his defence). The rest was amazing. I give it 9 out of 10.. well done

Keeps the tradition of the old turn and tenders of years ago with a modern twist.
When first visiting, this restaurant had not yet received its liquor license and ran on a BYOB system.
The quality of the food on offer was excellent with many varieties of aged meats and other rib and chicken options.
The aged rump i ordered was juicy, full of flavour and perfectly paired with the side Bordelaise sauce.
Service and ambiance was spot on
A little on the pricey side but the great food and service definitely makes turn n tender worth a visit.
The service was impeccable, waiter listened attentively and made suggestions. Suggested we order medium rare steak on a hot plate so that it will continue cooking itself. Which was so helpful and delicious. I recommend the Spare ribs n Turn n Tender steak. Then waiter brought sample desserts to our table and I chose their black velvet cheese cake...can I say it was amazing! All in all I had a great time and will be visiting again soon🙂
What a great experience. The service was excellent! The drinks were served and we placed our order. Within less than 10 minutes our food was served. Extremely well prepared and definitely worth. The waiters are honestly hospitable and friendly. The menu makes it a great place for family lunches. Extremely well managed.
The steak here is simply sublime. Great cuts cooked to perfection with your choice of basting and sides. A firm favourite every time I am South Africa. Prices are reasonable for what you are getting. Good hygiene protocols with their reopening following COVID restrictions.
They serve mean steaks ranging from the 500gram pure beef meneer, a sirloin steak, t-bone and whole lot of other steaks. Their service is quite good as their waiters are quite knowledgeable about the menu and the different options that come with the meals. The restaurant is cosy ideal for meetings and romantic meals.

Best place great food real meat for a real lady.. Wonderful hospitality and great atnosphere from the entrance.. Place saturated with friendly workforce of males who are well vested with customer service etiquette. When our bill was served we did not realise that one of the meals was rung twice and Themba the waiter was kind and vigilent to point that out and rectified it immediately.. Im dedinitely going back..

Had a great experience. The service was perfect. Waited for quite some time for our food, but there were a lot of people and thus acceptable.
The food was perfect. Had a rump steak which was prepared perfectly. Just make sure you like pepper as a lot of the steaks are prepared with a pepper crust. Otherwise you could just ask for a pepper less sauce, but I would highly recommend this steakhouse.
I'm not a great eater of red meat so I was expecting to enjoy the company far more than the food when a group of friends met last night at Turn 'n Tender. I was entirely wrong - I had the MOST delicious piece of grilled kingklip I have ever eaten. It literally was perfect. The decor and style of this big restaurant felt intimate and stylish, despite the size, and the service was unobtrusive but immediate. We had a great time.

Excellent wait staff and menu with very good menu specials. Food is prepared as requested and the deserts are not run of the mill. Good ambiance, but can become a little noisy especially with hearing impaired patrons. Cuts of meats offered and deserts were displayed to the table as a courtesy, which was a nice change from the norm. On the whole a good place to eat, but the meals can run a little expensive.
4.5 stars. This is a classic steak house where steak or ribs are highly recommended. The service is top class and there is also a wide variety wine menu. The restaurant is a bit noisy, but the tables are far enough apart so that it doesn't interfere with normal conversation levels. Definitely the place for meat lovers.
