Review Mumbai Cafe - George

Sahil Joshi
The finest Indian restaurant in all of George is a must-visit. You can't miss their delectable dishes like bunny chow, aloo parantha, gobhi ki sabzi, and butter chicken. My personal favorite is the aloo parantha. The staff is exceptionally polite and friendly, making it an all-around great experience.

Big Shoutout to Mumbai Cafe they organised a buffet dinner for 45 people in just an hour. Everything was hot, and dinner was laid at the table( at short notice). They have good seating arrangements. Only need to mind the step inside the restaurant to avoid falls. Delicious food. Great service. Dal Paneer, everything was yum. Good parking space is available. Must try. Thanks to Clinton & Shoaib & the chefs, too.

A great little Indian restaurant. Prices are reasonable. There is seating to eat in or you can order take away. Large selection of dishes. Menu indicates how hot each dish is. I found the medium hotness to be quite mild. Not licenced. Bring your own wine.

Friendly staff :) Clean premises, and the tables were well presented. Wide variety of options on the menu. Very tasty/flavourful, we took medium heat. I would recommend “hot” instead. Suggestion/area of improvement: traditional carrot/green chilli salad be served complimentary with meals. We tried other establishments and we can honestly say that this place has thee Best “Durban Style Bunny Chow” in George, hands down!!! Edit: I was forced to downgrade the star rating after two poor experiences regarding freshness recently. **I hope this is addressed as these restaurants are rare in the area**

The manager is really great. The tandoori chicken is out of this world, couple that with some delish garlic naan... and you are literally in heaven! Thank you

Best naan bread in town. Picture is home made butter chicken with their Naan bread.
