Great food, wine and dessert. I would definitely recommend Augusta grill.
We had such a lovely meal this afternoon. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Our 19 month old had a blast in the very nice play area. Our waitress Noma was very friendly and made us feel at home. We shall definitely be coming back! The De Nobrega's - Gastao's Quality Foods.

An up market and stylish restaurant for fine dining. Just what George needed. Food was superb and service was excellent. Waiters were helpfull, friendly and well informed and answered all our questions. Beautiful warm ambiance with lovely decor. Loved it.

Augusta is a new, stylish restaurant and patisserie that opened in April 2018.
The modern decor is very classy and stylish, with a good selection of wines and a baby grand piano to compliment the interior. There are three seating areas available - inner hall, interior, and outside on the "stoep" overlooking the old Moedergemeente church. Note for outside - I would recommend more towards the evening as traffic can be quite loud and busy.
The food is good as well. We had breakfast and although it was good, the meat was a bit dry for my taste (I ordered the 'prayer corner', if I remember the dish's name correctly). What really stood out for me was the pastries and desserts, and I highly recommend you try them. Service is good and friendly, although you can expect to wait a bit longer for your food.
The prices are above average for menu items, but the patisserie's prices are below average, which makes it very dangerous for me.
If you are thinking of going on a special occasion or nice date, I would recommend you try Augusta's grill. If you want a nice coffee date with a friend/petite amie, I suggest you take them to the patisserie.
An enjoyable dining experience. Beautiful decor and a stunning setting. A very different and welcome addition to the restaurant scene in George. Food was lovely and the service was not bad and I would have given 5 stars if the waitress was a little friendlier and more attentive. Worth a visit when in George.

Augusta Grill is a beautiful aura restaurant with kind waiters and it is an awesome place to go for meetings. Their food is spectacular with rich taste. My favorite was their dessert. Finely crafted and served.

I love the setup and decoration of Augusta. The atmosphere is so relaxing and with the live music its even better. Great for romantic dining and very friendly even for family dining. Love the stuff and they have meals to die for. Will visit again surely!
This restaurant offers a great brunch and ala carte menu. The highlight of the place is the top floor and private entertainment venue.
The view of the Outeniqua mountain and historic church is a must for any tourist and/or visitor.

Great evening out with friends and family. The barman was the best host we have experienced in a long time. He was not chained behind to the bar and regularly engaged to enquire if we needed anything. The waiter and busboy were also on que. The meals were great and well priced.

Amazing new restaurant in the hub of George. Food was seriously delicious. It's fine dining at it's best. Service was excellent. Decor is beautiful. Soft romantic lighting. A pianist tinkers away on a baby grand, adding a lovely touch to the atmosphere of the restaurant. It also has a pastry and cake shop. With a large variety of yummy goodies to choose from. Stopped for a lunch, and had lovely chicken prego rolls. Great portion sizes, very cool vibe and we had a lovely waitress! Unfortunately can't remember her name - but great service!
Just flew in from JHB and came to The Sky Lounge for supper. What an amazing experience. Fantastic food, and excellent service. Just found my favourite dining place in George. Thank you for the excellent service.
