Review La Rosa Blu Cafe - George

A beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains and perfumed roses. Carefully set tables, each with it's own vase of roses and efficient and friendly waitresses. Our individual meals were excellent, really generous portions so we had to ask for doggy bags. The flavours in my chicken and pesto salad were sublime. Their coffee is great too!

We stayed in an Airbnb on the Rose and lavender farm and our host Peter highly recommended this place :-) We were really happy with our meals and the ambiance, service, vibe, decorations were just amazing ! Take the time to visit the souvenirs shop on the estate before you go, their rose spray simply is marvelous :-)

What a gem on the other side of the Outeniqua mountains....such a lovely country setting. You smell the roses and lavender all over the premises. Delicious menu, friendly staff. Attention to every single detail. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful little place hidden between the mountains. The garden surrounding the building is so neat and absolutely gorgeous! We ordered cuppacino, carrot cake and a Italian Stallion Burger. The cuppacino (R25) was nice. Not very strong, but flavourful. The foam, however, were not that creamy. The Carrot Cake (R45) was to die for. It was Moist and nutty with cream cheese icing. The slice is very big- perfect for sharing. The Burger (R120) was also really good. A handmade beef patty, Served on a brioche bun and topped with feta,salami, bacon and mozzarella. The patty was grilled to perfection. The only downside was that the service was really slow even though the place was not that busy when we visited.

I have been to La Rosa Blu a number of times for lunch and loved it, and our recent brunch experience was no different. The venue is gorgeous - beautifully decorated with a very French feel, the views are glorious, the staff is friendly and the food is excellent. I always enjoy walking around the rose farm afterwards to stop and smell the roses! Definitely worth a visit!

Very nice rustic themed restaurant, with fresh ingredients for breakfast. Play area for kids also available. Good menu options for adults and kids alike. The kitchen is a bit slow but the food is worth the wait.Promt and friendly service also by the waitress.

Went for brunch and it was the best restaurant experience I've had in a while. The scenery and venue are amazing and the food was world class. Magazines are used as place mats so you are kept occupied while waiting and the service was great. Will 100% be back to this hidden gem.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. We were staying at the cottage owned by the people people who own La Rosa Blu for our anniversary weekend away and that was just as beautiful as the restaurant. We are sad that we didn’t get to try PJs famous burgers but we will for sure make a plan to come and try them. I would recommend this place to anyone as well as the cottage if you are looking for a place to stay.

Fantastic view, wonderful food and capable, friendly staff. One criticism is that the manager insists on playing music that is intrusive and it distracts from the overall experience

The ambience is awesome the burgers were great however one needs a chain saw to try and cut the burger bun!
