we found Shan Sushi during loadshedding. It's a pity that I don't live in George because I would definitely make regular visits there if I did. The atmosphere was great as was the service and food.

Best for take away. Great sushi and great prices. We had the Maggie platter and Smoked salmon sandwiches and added two extra portions of ginger which worked out perfectly. Can definitely recommend them!

Great sushi and the owners are very friendly! The salmon was fresh.
The venue is a very simple and minimal. However the sushi is really good quality and prices are reasonable. Very good value when compared to other similar spots in George. The take-away service is very active and popular. In my opinion Shan Sushi is the best place for take-away Sushi in George. The
Shan Sushi has reasonably priced food, an easy to read menu and a friendly chef. Their portions are fairly large and they do not skimp on the ingredients. Unfortunately, they have limited spaces for seats, but this is also nice as many people order takeaways and so you can have a nice quiet meal.
Attention to detail is the name of the game. Some portions can be seasoned with more salmon and less rice. The owner is at the store all the time and make sure everything is fresh and prepared.
Absolutely best sushi in George. Love it!
