Review Krust Cafe - George

My wife and I had an absolutely delightful experience at Krust Cafe. We savored a delicious cappuccino that was simply divine, and the food we ordered, Eggs Benedict and a "potjie" with curry, was incredibly tasty. The service we received was top-notch, and the atmosphere of the cafe was truly remarkable. We were so impressed that we're already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Always a winner, Bernard is a great manager. The food is always fresh and tasty. The waiter might be slow, they are usually very busy, but the service is great.

Nice coffee ☕ place The coffee was nice and strong It could have been a bit warmer, our second cup was better though. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The food was decent and tasty. Would be back again. On the way out we brought coffee beans 😎

What an awesome place. Waiter understood I wanted my stuff separate....and it was perfect. HUGE waffle! Wow.....so delishious Good menu with options for every taste. Staff professional, friendly and accommodating

Cute, vibey place in the corner of this huge mall. Definitely worth checking out the aesthetic too They serve tall cappuccinos! I'd give 5 stars just for that. For breakfast, I got a mushroom croissant with scrambled egg option. It was delish!

Stopped here for breakfast on the way back to Cape Town and it was the best start to the morning! Staff were super friendly and so efficient. Music and fire created a wonderful cosy atmosphere on a cold morning. Staff gladly allowed us to tweek the menu to suit a vegan and vegetarian diet. Food arrived quickly. Coffee was great and beautifully presented with many milk alternatives. Overall great experience, highly reccomend! Deserves 6 stars. Thanks guys 😊😊

Why have you taken your most innovative delicious meal off your menu? I would drive at least twice a week from the other side of George to have your wonderful coffee and the 'Babotie Twist' Yesterday, having promised friends a special treat, drove all the way from Great Brak to come and enjoy......so disappointing! My friends meals where 'just' ok, I had something called an Italian, a doughy, over salted, undercooked mess, scrapped the topping off and attempted to eat it but really a disgusting meal! No sign of the manageress, waitress apologized but otherwise unperturbed. She tells us she gets numerous complaints a day about the removal of the Babotie dish???? Coffee was good, our little waitress was sweet but this is not enough to elavate your coffee shop above the normal George mediocrity. Won't be making the effort again😢

Excellent coffee and the best benedict I have had however their service is shocking and when bringing it to their intention they insult you back. Sadly this was after three visits to their store. My family and I will never be back.

Roxi was the best waitress that day. She served us with such a happy smile and was filled with so much enthusiasm and charisma. She’s a gem. Also good service, great food�

Fantastic coffee shop, not standard & sooooo good The food is fabulous and the service very friendly! I had poached eggs with bacon, served on a zucchini fritter, with sauce hollandaise. Everything was really tasty and the home made sauce was divine. We will come back for sure and I can highly recommend Krust Cafe!

Cozy little place, had breakfast, all though not any vegan options, they made something up for me, but still charged me the same price as the flatbread with bacon, mozzarella and avo.. I only had avo on mine ���

Awesome branding awesome coffee, absolutely shit attitude, no smiling, no energy from any of the staff and when I complained to the person in charge she barely listened to me as she was on her phone. I had to stand up and get my plate of food on the counter as it was just sitting there and getting cold. Do not recommend this place at all. It's a pity because a smile goes a long way

Ek hou van die vriendelike mense. Hulle kaaskoek is baie lekker, asook hulle chocolate koek. Het al paar keer daar geëet en was nog nooit teleurgesteld nie.

Would love to visit again! Our waitress was excellent and so was our breakfast.

Krust Café has THE best coffee and their food is great, always fresh, generous portions, friendly staff and such a relaxing atmosphere!!! Thank you for giving your utmost best during the festive season and Krust will go far in the future as you have high standards and CUSTOMER SERVICE, EXCELLENT COFFEE AND FOOD is your main priority, definately my ONLY recommendation!!!

We have been supporting Krust for a very long time. This year on our arrival my fiancé ordered egg whites as usual, as he is allergic to egg yolk. They refused to assist us and had all sorts of excuses not to help, even after he offered to split the eggs himself. Initially they were “too busy” (although they had 11 open tables) and eventually they simply said that they do not want to set a precedent. Needless to say, we will not be supporting this place any longer due to their unwillingness to accommodate customers.

Came here for breakfast and was promptly seated and given a menu. Unfortunately that’s where the “good” service ended. The food is ok, the hollandaise was just butter and had no other taste. I had eggs Benedict. My waitress didn’t come to check on me until 20 minutes AFTER I’d finished my meal, all this while sitting with a dirty plate waiting for it to be cleared and offered another drink as I’d long finished my first with my meal. Won’t be coming back here in a hurry.

Great looking food, tastes even better. Racehorse of a coffee machine... SAN Remo, I think, very sofisticated. Did not expect this level of service and Coffee in George. Stunning decor and we bought some amazing coffee beans at very reasonable prices... Will go back

After seeing the picture of the green juice that is Krust Cafe's header picture I thought I would give this place a skip as it was 'just one of those weird health food places'. Boy was I wrong. As soon as we walked past the large, airy restaurant I was immediately drawn to it. <br/>Although it was very busy a lovely waitress (who obviously saw the disappointment on our faces) managed to find us a little table for two in the back. She was very friendly, efficient and knew the menu very well.<br/>Everything we tried on the menu I would recommend! The coffee-in-cone is so quirky and is genuinely good coffee; the breakfast wrap is warm, filling and a great balance of flavours; the say cheese breakfast skillet is delicious and would be amazing after a heavy night of drinking; the moist chocolate cake was decadent and the salted caramel paired with it perfectly! The only downfall of our experience at Krust was the hot chocolate seemed so average after all the other amazing things we ordered. <br/>We will definitely be coming back to Krust with the rest of the family and to try the amazing carrot cake we keep seeing going past us!

Visited krust 3 times in the past week. First time we were drawn in by the fantastic smell of their coffee made by the first sanremo café racer in the country... And wow. Tasted even better than the aroma.<br/><br/>There after on the follow up visits we had lunch and a lot more coffee. The staff were friendly and we'll trained. All round presentation were great! 10/10 would recommend.

Fresh, beautifully plated food. Had the banting stacker. It was delicious. Staff well trained and friendly. Cozy fireplace. Cape Town right here in George.

I had some time to kill and decided to enjoy something sweet. Krust was perfect. I enjoyed sitting on their comfy couch and flipping through some magazines. The staff were friendly and service was quick. They had a selection of freshly baked goods that looked amazing. And the chocolate cake was delicious. The menu seemed well priced for n nice lunch. They even offer bunny chows. I would definitely come back to try one of their lunch meals.

Great service and wonderful food. The owners are friendly and involved. Amazing pie! Full aromatic coffee and warm and inviting ambience. Even free wifi!  Krust will become my office / lounge away from home!

We were visiting George, and the new mall, and searching for a good breakfast when this spot caught our eye. The décor is fresh and open, and it made me want to sit down. That, and the waiter who caught our attention as we walked by, and encouraged us to try out their coffee. We weren't sorry that we did. Good coffee and Banting options. Yay! My husband had the sliders on mushrooms and loved them. I had my usual Eggs Benedict, and was satisfied. And the service was charming. Try it out!

Love this new spot!! Great service and great coffee! Had the hamburger sliders and my wife had the chicken salad! Lovely. Will definitely be back.

Brand new to George and a one of a kind in the Garden Route. Loved the fresh look of this restaurant, the menu had just the right amount of choices. Thoroughly enjoyed the rustic chicken (chicken, avo and rocket on rye). Filling, tender and presentation fed the eyes! Loved the red cappuccino, smooth!
