The drive is o La Petite Ferme from Cape Town is beautiful. The place has a magestic appeal. The view is spectacular. The place is well kept and managed ...as good as it gets around the globe .... The staff are very well mannered , trained and polite and informative ... One of the most beautiful setting to have lunch and get lost in thoughts and relax ....very soothing The vineyard is great and took a lot of pics of the place ...will love to come back with Moyna, my dear wife and spend time ..

Great experience from start to finish! Service excellent, views to die for and for the food.... generous portions... beware of size of portions I.e. Starters. Beautifully prepared and presented, this without going over the top! Highly recommend

Five star food, five star wine and the view is about ten stars. Wow what great service I must say. Which is sometimes hard to find in Cape Town. Always going the extra mile.

Whenever I have the time to take out of town or country visitors beyond the city limits, I always opt for La Petite Ferme. The views are stunning, service excellent and wine selection while limited features wines that meet most requirements. The food is always imaginative enough to round off a memorable visit and a group has to be really grumpy to leave dissatisfied. As a vegetarian the choices are limited and the Cheese Platter desert a bit mingy as there are plenty local cheeses yo choose from and some bread could be offered to supplement the few flakes of cracker supplied. One general in all of the Cape Town regions is if you are a tea totaler there are only very boring non alcohol drinks. Travel to Asia where alcohol is always only one option, there are dozens of options that are neither sweet nor "Mocktails" but drinks in their own right. An excellent all round venue with adequate parking as well.

Where does one start.... the setting is so stunning, the food was delicious and looked like a picture, lovely service. There are no words to describe the beauty of this place, a must go to if you find yourself in Franschhoek.

Had the most wonderful stay at ‘La Petite’ that started with the warmest of welcomes from the very attentive and friendly staff. Enjoyed the most stunning of views from our breathtakingly beautiful accommodation. So very peaceful and relaxing. Truly a very special place and one that we can’t wait to return to.

One of the best restaurants and venues I have been at .. the service was top notch and we didn’t have to wait a long time for the food contrary to most good restaurants.

Amazing Scenery and Estate. Boutique suits with panoramic views of Franschhoek valley, an authentic country cuisine, genuine friendly experience in the natural stylish restaurant. A true historic gem of culture with a modern touch. Shares a special position within Franschhoek and the Winelands.

I was in the company of a dear niece and her husband, and we always have a jolly time whenever we get together. Even so, we found the food and wine outstanding - fresh, local and seasonal. Compliments to the chef! The new decor is stylish and upmarket. Well done, La Petite Ferme.

A lovely Sunday lunch with friends. So much to compliment. The setting and views, the food and the wonderful service. Enjoyed the Fish Cakes, slow cooked lamb and melktert. Nancy and Valentine…looked after us and showcased all of the wines over the meal. Such a special afternoon. Definitely one of our top food and wine experience this year.

We did not stay here but had sunset drinks and dinner. The views were amazing to watch the sun set with a nice glass of wine. The dinner service was good, the food was outstanding and very well priced for the quality. The staff were friendly and attentive. If you do not manage to get a table for dinner I would highly recommend still coming for the views!

We loved our stay at La Petite Ferme and cannot wait to return for the warm weather. We were here during the winter weather, and were greeted with complimentary ( amazing) cake and a bottle of wine in the room. They made us a fire in our room and we immediately relaxed. The bed is to die for and extremely comfortable. Heated floors throughout, absolutely incredible views of the vineyard and mountains straight from your bed. Brilliant bathtub ( with a view!) and super cute private plunge pool ( which we didn't get to use due to the weather but we will next time ). They have a great taxi company which will come and pick you up a And take you anywhere which was handy. The breakfast was delicious with many options and we felt spoiled. We had dinner at the restaurant on one of the nights and it was lovely and great value. The sunset from the grounds was spectacular. The service was spot on at every touch point. Highly recommend.

Dinner review: Nice presentation and overall tasty but we had better, much more creative and balanced dinners in Stellenbosch and Cape Town. Solid but nothing to write home about. The location and views are amazing. Service mediocre.

I had the pleasure of dining at La Petite Ferme recently, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience. The food at this restaurant is nothing short of spectacular. Every bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. From the appetizers to the desserts, each dish was crafted with precision and care, leaving me wanting more. The wine selection at La Petite Ferme is truly beyond compare. The sommeliers have curated an impressive collection of wines that perfectly complement the menu. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or simply appreciate a good glass of vino, you'll be delighted by the options available. But what truly sets La Petite Ferme apart is the service. The waitstaff, particularly Wisdom and Nicole, went above and beyond to make our dining experience special. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and knowledge of the menu were truly remarkable. They anticipated our needs and provided recommendations with a genuine passion for their craft. Their dedication to creating a memorable experience for guests is truly commendable. In addition to the incredible food, wine, and service, the views at La Petite Ferme are simply breathtaking. The restaurant is nestled in a picturesque location, offering a stunning backdrop for a truly memorable dining experience. The combination of delectable cuisine, exceptional service, and beautiful surroundings creates an ambiance that is second to none. I would like to extend a special thanks to Wisdom and Ana for their outstanding service and for making our stay at La Petite Ferme so special. Their professionalism and genuine care for their guests were truly exemplary. It's clear that they take pride in their work and go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. In conclusion, if you're looking for a restaurant that offers spectacular food, exceptional wine, amazing service, and breathtaking views, look no further than La Petite Ferme. It's a true gem that deserves all the praise it receives.

La Petite was our Franschoek stop on our honeymoon trip, and what gets you here is their service, their beautiful suites and their pastry chef that puts out some of the best cakes and pastries we’ve had anywhere on this trip. Having heard about the havoc the downpours that had wiped out large sections of the town in September, we weren’t certain what we would find when we got here in late November. But, nothing seemed out of place. They had recovered quickly and apart from the scars of mudslides on the mountains we couldn’t tell if there had been any damage at all. The room is absolutely stunning with a large comfy bed - the best sleep I had anywhere in South Africa on our trip. The heated floors and the fireplace that was lit for us each night by Unathi was a special treat. While we couldn’t dine in their restaurant due to a lack of any options for vegetarians, Sam who runs the property now vowed to fix it and even had the chef provide alternative solutions. But where I think La Petite absolutely sparkles is in their daily baked treats. If not for food, do stop here for their cakes and pies. For my birthday, a family member even called them up at 3am for a cake and the team went to great lengths to get us a decadent “eggless” cake that we slowly wiped out over two days. Thank you to the entire team for making this happen. It has not gone unnoticed.

We came to eat in the restaurant for sunset after a day on the wine tram. The location and views were stunning, the food was some of the best we experienced in SA, wine delicious and service was warm and friendly. A must do whilst in the wine region!

As for the meal, it is nothing short of spectacular. The fillet is a standout, delivering flavors that are simply transcendent.

Before I start, I have to say the staff at Le Petit Ferme take the hotel from fantastic to 'off the charts' . Truly an incredible place to stay. On our arrival, we received a very warm welcome from what seemed like the entire staff compliment. The views from every corner of the estate are fantastic, looking down into the valley and across to the mountains in the distance. The restaurant, bar and lounge areas are very comfortable and relaxing. The food excellent, we had a fantastic dinner in the evening and the breakfasts were excellent, way more than we could have eaten, yet fantastic. The menu is not extensive, but this is always a positive for me as you know all the dishes will be well prepared and presented. Wine list is very good and obviously lists wine from the estate. Our suite was enormous. Very well appointed and everything you would need to make your stay truly comfortable and relaxing. Complimentary snacks and drinks in the bar fridge are included and a nice touch. Turndown service includes a welcoming fireplace warming your room on your return in the evening. The views from the suite are amazing, with huge windows overlooking the valley. The bed is huge and so comfortable. Underfloor heating and air-conditioning make the suite even more comfortable. The accommodation is fantastic. Lucinda, Evron and Heinrich went out of their way to make our stay unique. We are so thankful to them for this, as well as the rest of the staff. Le Petite Ferme comes very highly recommended, you cannot help but love the entire estate, you will not be disappointed. Well done Let Petite Ferme.

10/10 would recommend. The best experience on the rainy day we ventured out to La Petite Ferme. They had a wood fire burning near our table, the view from our table was amazing, and the staff were attentive. I highly recommend the buchu cordial drink and the Franschhoek salmon.

My wife and I stayed there as part of our honeymoon tour in South Africa. We absolutely loved the place. The room was incredibly well kept and had the most splendid views unto Franschhoek with a semi private pool. The service was impeccable and everyone was warm and professional. We can’t wait to be back!
