Love the innovative menu and the Big Dog Ramen best ever. So many flavours, was a heavenly experience. Had the chicken waffles before and what a combination. Cold coffee drinks delish and huge variety.

Great place, jammed with locals. If you are in the area definitely worth the visit!

Came by for a quick espresso on my way to hit the road. The wait was quite long for a simple drink and I think it was just sitting there for a while as it wasn’t very hot when it came. The espresso itself was a very dark roast, which exactly my thing. But as far as dark roasts go this one was well extracted. Smooth with a creamy texture and very enjoyable. Not my top choice in Franschhoek but worth a visit.

Amazing breakfast place! Terbodore Café has an amazing menu selection and the coffee is great, too. You cannot leave without eating the carrot cake. It was one of the best we’ve had so far. Can’t wait to come back one day.

Delicious freshly baked pear and nut muffin. It was really great. Coffee was also very good. Great seating area outside under the trees. The sound of running water from the stream was also an added bonus. Sadly a few menu items were not available when we visited, but was told they were waiting on their delivery. Most likely they had a very busy weekend.

Tried the vegan dish the lovely from the lovely Tebodore in Franschoek, bowl of coconut curry quinoa chaufa. This is the first time I've tried a chaufa and from the limited research I've done it is by no means traditional. I do appreciate the innovation in the dish. It was a generous portion size served in a bowl with a pretty pattern. The texture of the dish was pleasing and the coconut flavour was just right. Personally I do prefer a lot bit of spicy (chilli) in my dish and fortunately one of my dining companions asked the waitress to spice up her meal. She obliged by bringing us a few sachets of chilli oil which I then added to my dish and I felt it did elevate the flavour profile of the dish to an extent. Service was a bit slow due to the establishment being almost full, on the hot Sunday afternoon. They were kind enough to seat us outdoors and move the umbrella to shade us, so we could dine al fresco. My preference, however if you wish to dine indoor you will be in close proximity to the gift shop which sells a myriad of items from coffee to hoodies.

We stopped at Terbodore Café for breakfast on two occasions whilst staying in Franschhoek. The café was warm and welcoming, the service was friendly and the breakfast menu was really interesting and inventive. I would highly recommend the Mushrooms On Toast, they were so good I had them both days – and I hardly ever have the same dish twice. Their coffee was fantastic, and although I didn’t sample their sweet treats, they looked incredible! It's easy to find and a great spot to grab something to eat if you’re planning to do the Wine Tram or explore Franschhoek.

Stopped twice while on walks in Frenschhoek. The area had recently suffered from flooding so there was construction around the outdoor seating. This didn't take away from the experience. Great coffee and they also roast their own beans.

Absolutely lovely place. Great food, great service and awesome vibe. Bit more on the pricey side but it's Franschhoek so that is to be expected haha. Would highly recommend it to anybody passing through :p

We've enjoyed our visit. The food was something different than what we normally order and it was delicious a bit more pricey but we've still enjoyed every bite. Staff was helpful, professional and friendly. Note: There was also some potted plants and potted herbs to buy outside and inside was also a choice of other brand name items to buy. Overall a good choice to visit when you want something different to eat or drink... Or just want explore their choice of brand name items, plants or the herbs.
