My family and I found this amazing restaurant. We really enjoyed their food. The sushi was lovely, portions were great and their soups, dumplings and spring rolls were out of this world. Owner interacts with his clients and he is proud of his food, which he should be.Will most definitely go back.

So after my less than satisfying experience at the Laughing Panda restaurant. The owner called me to humbly apologize for the bad experience and wished to rectify the problem and invited us for a meal to give them another chance. I was happy to pay for the second visit but the owner gave us the meal for free and 50% discount on the sushi. The dumplings the second time around were great and the sushi was delicious. When an owner is this determined to keep her customers happy then they definitely deserve to be in the food industry. I don't think a owner of any restaurant has ever been this determined to rectify a mishap. We will definitely be back and keep up the great work.

One of my favourite sushi spots. Fresh sushi at great prices. Their sashimi though was disappointing because they just rolled trout to make it sashimi instead of actual salmon pieces. Otherwise been going here for their delicious meals
Sushi was absolutely DELICIOUS 😍 Had salmon fashion sandwiches and avocado maki! I'm a big sushi fan and their sushi is to die for and value for money definitely!! Will be returning soon!
A hidden gem in Northriding. No fancy furniture at this place but the food was very good. My boys said the sushi was amazing.
The owner was friendly and attentive. Overall a good experience. By the way you will not find better value for money in the area.
As a follow on from my previous review I wanted to congratulate the management for turning around a really aweful experience into something memorable and outstanding. Dustyn tracked me down and apologized profusely for the way the complaint was handled. This evening they delivered the most delicious complementary sushi platter to my house. I will definitely order from them again. Thank you Dustyn and your staff for your efforts.
Their dumplings, while simple, are absolutely delicious. The fact that they are freshly made to order is what makes them special, you can taste the difference. You won't be sorry.
Great portions, value for money, that fact that it is also available on Uber eats is also a bonus, restaurant not in the best location in Joburg, will definitely order in again.
A little difficult to find, tucked away in a small centre. Nice terrace with a “duck-cooker” on display. Yes - seriously - a stainless steel duck barbecue oven.
We had several platters of sushi, a chicken and cashew, as well as a beef with black beans. All very well prepared, and very tasty. A nice touch is the availability of Chinese beer.
It is a busy spot, which confirms the quality of the food.
