My husband & I had dinner at this branch last night. We ordered the 3 brothers, skinny pork chops, roasted cauliflower, village salad, zuccchini fries, hitipiti and tarama dips. The food was delectable, tasty and cooked to perfection! The portions are a good size and so well priced - we could not finish all that we had ordered, to our delight we have leftovers for today! Pita bread was unplayable and chips were amazing, dips were just simply delicious. We ordered the strawberry and lime g&t's and that too was made on point. For dessert I had the galaktoboureko so delicious!
To top it all, our waiter Martin was absolutely stunning! Martin was, welcoming, friendly, helpful, warm and whimsical! He gave us really good service! Martin you made our experience so pleasant it was such a pleasure to have you as our waiter!
Restuarant itself is well designed, clean and cosy.

Oh wow, I will start with the service. It is Valentine’s Day and of course we didn’t have a reservation. We were looking for somewhere to have a quick glass of wine and quick meal. They accommodated us and where most welcoming! The food was absolutely AMAZING. We ordered a few maze’s, they have a huge vegetarian selection and it is evident that their food is freshly prepared! Super tasty meal. Best Greek food I have eaten to date!

Meet my girlfriends for a dinner here a few weeks ago. We ordered tapas and shared it. Some of the dishes we ordered was, haluomi, tzatiki, pita, olives, roast potatoes. We ended of our evening with ice cream, the sneakers and licorice flavors were yummy. Service is good.
Nice vibe in the restaurant. Inside is a little noisy, but not bad. Outside is probably less noisy but still with a busy vibe.
Food is tasty. We didn’t like the mustard dip that comes with the lamb chops but swapped for one of the other dips which was great.
Lamb chops tasted excellent with great braai flavour.
Chips and zucchini fries were crispy.
Flat breads were delicious, warm and fresh!
Chicken souvlaki was juicy and tasty - it is also done over coals so it was really tasty.
We’ll be back.
The Resturant is lovely. Staff are friendly. Food is delicious, I would recommended the Calamari main meal. It can become very busy, so I would suggest to phone and make a reservation for Saturday lunch or dinner

I absolutely love Greek food and this place makes such delicious food with a lot of new and exciting meals - healthy and tasty. The manager is really friendly and chats to all the patrons. Very nice atmosphere.
I had dinner there on Friday night and was pleasantly surprised with the food as well as the service. My beer arrived in a frozen glass perfect temprature for a hot summer night, food was tasty, authentic and delicious. Best greek doughnust I've ever had will definitely go back soon. Restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere.
Delicious!!! The skinny lamb chops are a common favourite and never disappoint. Great vibey restaurant and the hosts are very friendly, family type feel there. The baklava milkshake is unbelievable and a great treat after a filling meal. Great value for money, happy service and a great weekend lunch
What an enjoyable afternoon. Thankfully, we missed the lunch rush - it looks like it gets a bit cramped when at capacity. Service was great. My strawberry and lime G&T was delicious. The starters, spanakopita and tiropita, were light and tasty. Our skinny lamb chops, one with zucchini fries, the other with a side salad, were excellent. Nothing needed extra seasoning - a rarity. I think the skinny lamb chops will be calling my name again soon...
Was upset when Le Souffle closed, but Nikos is a worthy successor. All the food is bursting with flavor, the portions are generous, prices reasonable, the quality superb. They have interesting shakes, including an 'overflowing' baklava shake which was just delicious. Didn't try the desserts because we were too full, but we sure will next time--its a shame to go to a Greek restaurant without eating desserts! The chairs in and of themselves are uncomfortable, but there are lots of cushions provided and if you want, you can put more than one cushion on a chair and then you are comfortable. There are heating units for when its cold. The service is stellar. All of the staff are very friendly and are most determined to ensure that you have a good and tasty dining experience. Nikos gets all thumbs up from me!
We ate here yesterday and just have to say that it was amazing. Probably the best dolmades we've had at a restaurant and my absolute favourite was the soutzoukakia. I must say, tastes a lot like yia yia's food😁. Service was also really great and a really relaxed atmosphere, decor is also beautiful. Just an awesome place to eat really and the manager or owner(sorry I don't know) is also attentive which is great😊. All round great place and a must try. We will definitely be back soon.
The restaurant exceeded our expectations. We had a lovely dinner containing a few meze options, delicious wine followed by amazing service and complementary desert.
Had the chance to try Nikos for the first time. Had heard great reviews. The waitress we had was very attentive and friendly. For mains I had the skinny pork chops and was not disappointed. Good size portion and they were just how I like them with crispy crackling! I will certainly be back.

I love Greek food it’s definitely one of my favorite cuisines! I’m so pleased this restaurant opened up just round the corner from home! It’s stylish, trendy and most importantly... delicious! Food is yummy with generous portions at a great price! The staff and management are great and friendly too! You have to book or go early as it gets really busy!
I met my in-laws for lunch and they were so impressed! The skinny lamb chops seems to be the in thing to order. I’m looking forward to going back to order the 1kg lamb for the table. Excellent service. Nice buzz. The Moussaka is also yummy. It’s a basic menu; but you’ll find what you are looking for.
Recommended by my 11 year old son who visited the Resturant a week ago with his friends family - 😀 he dragged us to have dinner here ... and we were not disappointed at all .... enjoyed the chicken kebabs and he had the skinny chops , the prawn starter with feta was divine .... definitely coming back ....
Unquestionable 5. From the hot pita to the delicious Tarama right through to the crispy chops and the sweet Halva ice cream. The attention to detail gives this Nikos the edge. Real Greek coffee at the end made for the perfect al fresco dinner.

Food: we had the brinjal stack, zucchini fries, Soutzoukakia, Hummus loaned, falafels and the roasted spicy cauliflower. Zero complaints about the quality of food. My favourite was the brnjal stack and roasted spicy cauliflower and the Soutzoukakia.
The G&Ts are very well made. I'd recommend the cucumber and rosemary.
Staff: Our waiter Brian was so attentive patient and friendly. The owner is very hands on and does walk throughs ever so often.
Vibe and Decor: Music is not too loud. The greek plates added to the whole experience
Definitely be back here to try the rest of the menue.

So I was very eager to try out Nikkos for the love of hummus. I had the Souvlaki and I was so amazed. BEST hummus ever! All in one plate consisting of 2 skewers of chicken off the coals, pita, hummus and they allowed me to swop the potato fries for zucchini fries. The food has to be eaten hot as it does dry out when cold. Manager personally welcomes guests once seated. Staff have a good spirit and are well versed on the menu. My waiter Morris was friendly and attentive. Food is well seasoned .
One of the best meals we’ve had in “jonks”. The atmosphere is electric, the food is to die for and the prices are certainly the best in this area!

The place is very busy which led to a wait, we had a great starter. Amazing skinny pork chops with zucchini fries for dinner. The main course meal was delicious, our table was silent.
Very relaxing environment, friendly staff and great food. Had Lamb Kofta and platted souvlaki Chicken, both are tasty and very filling. The food is reasonably priced. Will definitely come here again.

We've now been to NIKOS twice and loved everything about it. The decor is the characteristic blue and white with really cute wooden- succulent containing cutlery caddies on the tables.
We are big fans of the limnos yiro and the salty and crispy zucchini fries. The calamari cooked in ouzo with tomato sauce and feta crumble was outstanding - really yummy with pita. For dessert, we sampled the halva ice cream and the baklava. The halva was sprinkled on the top of the ice cream rather than being rippled through as we've had previously but both desserts were delicious.
In our mind, this is one of the best value restaurants in Joburg with a main, dessert and cocktail coming in under R200. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
A local favourite of ours....Again an excellent night out last night. Pitas still amazing. Yiros delish and obviously the chicken souvlaki and chips always a win!!! Staff are amazing. Thank u Nikoz! We had far too much wine again so no pics 🤣

Great new addition to the popular Pineslopes block. Classic greek feel of blues and white with the open coal grill kitchen station being the focal point. Walked in to friendly reception. The menu has quite a bit for the vegetarian, multiple lamb options and the usual greek pitas, souvlaki, pitas. We tried a couple of items to share, lamb chops, calamari and spicy lamb mince on hummus. The hummus with lamb and pitas was my stand out. Those whole roasted cauliflowers going out to other tables looked really good, will try next time. To end we shared the pavlova which was divine.
The cocktails and wine selection are good. I really enjoyed being here and will be back.

A great restaurant for both meat eaters and vegetarians to enjoy a meal out together. The zucchini chips and whole cauliflower were both delicious. The meat eater declared the lamb chops brilliant too. The staff and owner were incredibly helpful and made a great effort to advise on your food selection. Wines were also rated as to whether they were vegan friendly. We will definitely go back .
New kid on the block , friendly staff . Gud clean venue. The chicken souvlaki was tasty . The lamb chops was full of flavour and their lamb dipping sauce is very gud . Pavlova with berries to end was perfect . The only negative was their tzatziki which was very bland . The rest was awesome will be back .

Decided on the spanakopita to start and the souvlaki as a main. The spanakopita wasn't that great with the ratio of pastry to filling abit much and felt like it wouldn't have been a huge effort to put in a little extra filling, nice taste and flavour though.
The souvlaki was some of the best I've Had even in Greece, soft and succulent with awesome flavour, still abit disappointing though that tarama isn't an option and has to be added extra when the meal comes with your choice of dip, feels abit like the more expensive dips are left off as an option which makes it feel abit cheap.
The waiter was attentive and friendly although slightly incompetent, messed up the order a little and forgot our salad, it was really busy though so no worries everyone makes mistakes right.
All in all the meal was great, good food and decently priced for what you get. Will defintely be back for lunch
Most incredible meal at Nikos tonight . Marina made sure the meal was exceptional . The starters were amazing- the most tasty halloumi , bringal stack and heavenly fried calamari .
Mains were just as divine - beef souvlaki accompanied by the most delicious dips. The zucchini fries are a must and the Greek salad and dips are a taste of Greece! What a wonderful experience with the best service , beautiful food and an amazing setting . Well done, Marina and Nikos, we will be back soon !

I was very excited to find a Greek restaurant so close to home. We had some dips and pita breads to start and meze/ yiro for mains. Everybody raved about their food and the staff and owner were so friendly and accommodating. I'll be back very soon.

To be frank - this is probably the best Greek restaurant in the country.
From the quality of the food to the ambiance and personal service there is nothing that could be faulted. Even though there are no bookings allowed at this moment it is definitely worth waiting for a table.
This restaurant is well located in the Pineslopes shopping centre adjacent (from Witkoppen road) to Monte casino. It can be well enjoyed with family, friends or for a business meeting.
For vegetarians and meat eaters there is a wide variety of meals for everyone that is well priced and is of an extremely high quality with a unique spin on familiar Greek flavours.
I would recommend trying the hummus, spanakopita, and roast potatoes and/or a gyro. The full roasted cauliflower looks amazing and is definitely on my try before you die list.
The attention to detail here, in all aspects, is untouched - everything just burst with colour and flavour!

Good Greek food. Had Dolmades and Dip and Eat with Htipiti dip. Had the Paros Yiro. All food was fresh and tasty. Serve was top notch. Very similar to Mythos, in look and feel.
The Greek trend is definitely coming back with a vengeance. It seems like Greek restaurants are opening everywhere. I'm happy about a Greek sit down in the area, especially as the owners are avid experienced restaurateurs. Good clean and fresh food, enjoyed with a mythos beer and some great Greek music. This spot recently opened and is packed. There is no booking so make sure your willing to wait a bit. The skint pork chops are delicious.
I had an amazing experience at Nikos Pineslopes! The location is fantastic, and the food is top-notch. The atmosphere is so welcoming, making it the perfect place for a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for chilled welcoming venue to dine
The food was absolutely amazing, came with my family for the first time. But the waiter that we had was kind of all over the place. He would literally disappear, but then another lovely waiter by the name of maurice was so kind enough as to clear our table, pack my daughter's takeaway burger and try to get us our bill even though it wasn't his table.
He literally had to go look for our waiter Tshepho and tell him we wanted the bill.
I'll definitely be back for the food but hope we get better service next time.
I know it's a 'Greek style's restaurant but if you have other options on the menu then you would like to think they would be to the same standard as the speciality dishes, unfortunately not quite up to par. Staff and service were very good and took care to make sure the elder members of the group were well looked after.
My hubby and I decided to try Nikos for the first time on Tuesday evening. The service was exceptional with friendly staff and Covid protocols all in place. The cocktails are awesome! Both mains as well as the zucchini fries we nibbled on were well prepared and delicious. We will definitely be back!

Small and cozy. Had a problem with the outside lights which were flickering. When it was eventually switched off it was actually more romantic. Anyway the staff are very friends and the food was good. Really enjoyed my beef fillet ios. Moderately priced.

Sopbelo, our waiter today, was attentive, responsive and patient, and I very much appreciated his service.
Our group chose a wide variety of dishes this afternoon, and everyone was very happy. I personally chose a lamb shank, small Greek salad and cucumber and elderberry virgin cocktail which made for a delicious meal. I would recommend for intimate dinners, or group meals.
