Review Nando's - Edenvale

We had a seated meal for dinner. You place the order at the counter, pay then have a seat and the food is brought to your table. The wait wasn’t long and the food looked good. We felt that the wrap contained more coleslaw than chicken for our liking, the boujee bowl was quite small for a main and the new chicken sosaties were not hot (temp) The overall experience was good including desserts and I will return.

I ordered a pulled chicken wrap for the first time, it was extremely saucy and runny with an excessive amount of coleslaw in it and very little chicken. I cannot recommend it. The wings with Moz spice were very nice and the pulled chicken sandwich was good. Nando's is a treat and a good place for a meal, just ask for extra seviettes if you get a wrap.

Great food, never disappoints. Best quality and extremely flavourful. Great service from staff. A whole family order took only 5 minutes in the drive thru

The lady taking the order at the drive thru was not listening to our order and when we went to pick it up, they had to remake everything because it was the wrong flavors and the sides were mixed into the main meals instead of being separate dishes. It was such a waste of time. Eventually, we got our right order and the food was good... Luckily, we checked our order before leaving the drive thru.

This is a very nice place. It has normal settings of Nando's franchise. It's a drive- thru, has a reasonable parking space. I ordered chicken wrap, which didn't taste very nice. I think you should stick with chicken when you going to Nando's, other things there are not up there in terms of taste.

You can be the only one in the Que but it will literally take you +- 25 to order, pay and get your food. What's the point of Drive thru. This doesn't matter the time of the month. So when going there make sure to get yourself some water while you wait because you will wait. Secondly, request utensils. Not sure why this isn't communicated by the cashier. Who in their right mind give you Rice without spoon and Fork ? How much I eat ? I am unaware it has to do with green environment which is good, but atleast inform the Customer when they buy.

Convenient takeaway. Pricey. Less food or more money. They always give us less sauce in our chicken livers and we have to send it back everytime. Food is good though

Good atmosphere/ambience but gets a little busy and you might have to wait for some time if you are dining in. Everything else, excellent to the extent of staff knowing repeat customers usual orders. That was a bit of a suprise but increased the ordering experience greatly.

Great place and nice weiter ,I really valid this restaurant . Nice Melody when eating an this near Alex area and Lombardy aside And small liquor store PNP in the side too

This chain store is the most inconsistent out of all of them. It’s like a lucky packet when ordering. I always order a wrap. Every time I order it is different, from the amount of chicken to amount fillings. It’s a tasty meal however some consistency is needed.

Got take away's on 22/06/2018 evening.Got home and salads were slimy, uneatable so now they are selling rotten salad!!!!<br/>Tried to call them but both numbers just ring and ring<br/><br/>Chicken and wedgies were good!

I have eaten here a few times, the chicken is never dry and we add extra sauce which makes it taste even better. I wish they would allow is to place orders to collect but other than that the service and food is great!

The takeaway service here is always efficient. Food always meets standards<br/>My favourites are the Peri Peri wedges and chicken livers mild. Or healthy chicken salad or a quarter chicken mild. Also order a pita...

One of the better run Nandos in the area which is consistently good and look after their customers. I have not had any issues here and the vegetarian food is always fresh and quickly served. The service is good and the restaurant is kept clean. Ample parking is available right outside and it is easy to access this branch.

I called Nando's to place an order for me to come and collect it. They said they do not offer that service. If that is so, then they should not include a contact number.

Shocking chicken...dry and stringy and almost impossible to cut. You spend a lot of money on takeaways, take the time to drive there, can you not expect to get what you paid for!

Great food! I was a bit disappointed that we were not allowed to phone in our order beforehand. The food was great. I ordered the red onion and avo vegetarian pita. The mild was way too hot for me- next time I will definitely get the lemon and herb 😊

I've always received the best quality of food and service here, you wouldn't make a mistake comming here. They always provide the best there is to offer!

Quality is always good eventhough eating Nandos has become quite expensive.<br/>We always order whole mild peri peri chickens which they cut up for us and potato wedges. We tried the granadilla cheesecake and the peppermint caramel delight which were great!

Compared to some other Nandos that I have been to, this one was remarkably clean. The staff are really friendly and the service is rather fast. We went there to celebrate my boyfriend's sister's birthday as she loves Nandos. I had my usual veggie burger with a side of veggies and it was yummy. The bread that they used was softer than other Nandos that I have been to, which made the meal a little messy, but it was still great.

Nando's is always consistently good, just love the peri peri chicken (hot I love) and always order a chicken salad, always a good bet, my kids love the prego rolls

Can't complain. In my tainted eyes, if you can't keep a chain clean and friendly, then you deserve not to own a chain. Simple. This Nandos is clean, friendly, timely and accommodating like all fast food stores should be. Knowing how chain stores operate though, I need to see it on a Friday night when it's brimming with families and that drunk oke from work, trying to scoff down a double cheese burger before the wife smacks him with a box of firefighters and an impromptu trip to Spar for Chipniks

Exceptional service from this place - the drive through staff members are so friendly and well trained that they won't even close the drive through widow once you have paid - even in the freezing wind - until you drive away. <br/>Really delicious, super clean restaurant, and a great overall experience. <br/>Love it.

We popped in to Nandos last night to grab a quick bite and I must say that I love the convenience of the drive thru they have. <br/><br/>I ordered the sticky prego wrap which was delicious, although a lot oiler at this branch than at others where I've had it before. The peri spinach was nice and spicy.

WOW was I shocked when I popped in 5 minutes before closing time last night and was greeted with friendly smiles from all the staff!!<br/>Their service was quick and efficient and our food was ready within literally 5 minutes of ordering! It was all hot and the salad still fresh even though it was 9pm.The chicken was delicious and there was a decent amount in my pita and the wedges crispy-just as I had requested.<br/>We sat down to eat our meal and although the doors where now shut we still received continued good service and smiles! <br/>To whoever runs this branch-THANK YOU! Your staff last night were wonderful!

Why on earth do they have a call in functionality?<br/><br/>They don't take orders over the phone. Shaking my head. <br/><br/>The food is great though, just upsetting you can't call in. <br/><br/>😀

Nandos food is always amazing and makes one feel better for the fact that they are getting takeaway, this branch though lacks the ability to manage the volume of people that visit it. Must remember to bring a novel next time.<br/><br/>Another drive-thru must be opened in the area. Nandos head office needs to help the management of this franchise out.

Their lemon and herb quarter chicken was really good. Well cooked, tender and loads of flavour, however the salad looked a little old and could definitely do with a bit more attention to detail.

We often order from this particular branch. I can definitely say that the staff are always friendly and efficient. <br/><br/>My husband said his chicken burger with pineapple was absolutely delicious and "hit the spot", the chicken in my pita was a bit tough but nevertheless very tasty and the flavours came together perfectly. <br/><br/>My son gobbled up his chicken and for a 2 year old to say it is very delicious, you know the food is good.

Loved the new revamped premises and building. Food is consistent as well as good. The service - no complaints.. It's clean and neat inside and not badly situated it rather of route but at least there is decent parking.

I'm not Nando's fan but I needed a health quick bite and I thought that Nando's was one of the best places for it. I went through the drive through, the first attendant was friendly and was smiling, very courteous. . Paid and next window.. the server there was also friendly.. seems like they all took a happy pill...anyhow the food itself was fresh but again the chicken breast portion is just small. The breast itself didn't even fill the bread.. one does not mind paying for good quality food but when the store skimps on the portions, than it is a worry.

Healthiest take out option I know about in Edenvale. Their potato wedges are heavenly and the chicken halloumi burger tasted like more. Nando's is definitely better than I remembered.

Office lunch on a friday usually consists of Nandos twice a month . Consistently delicious and fresh . Staff are great and the service from the Drive Thru is quick .<br/><br/>So happy they decided to add Halloumi to their menu , because my choice of the Halloumi and Sweet Chili Chicken pita with Peri Wedges is always DIVINE ! <br/><br/>Love this Branch .

Its Nandos , not rocket science. The food is the same as with all fast foodies. Service is slow and if you use the drive thru and the only car in line you get a chance to listen to a few tracks of your favourite rock Climbing...yep they're that slow<br/>

This Nandos is really great. I usually use the drive through because it is convenient. I get the combo of a wrap, peri wedges with perinaise and a drink. The staff are always smiling and friendly.

If you looking for Nando's go to another one. The food is always sub-quality - cold wraps and chicken that smells or tastes like packaged chicken bought from Checkers. Besides the poor quality the drive-through often short changes you and gives you less than you ordered despite having paid for it.

Great service at this Nandos - very efficient staff and have been very impressed with the Manager, who in the midst of the Friday evening takeout rush stops to chat to patrons!
