Post Parkrun meal with my gorgeous!! Food was excellent. Next time please can I have thicker toast. I'm a growing boy after all😂😂 Apple cinnamon bun was delightful. Flavours just worked so well!!

Absolutely loved this venue. A wonderful restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere, good food and fantastic customer service - there is also a small local food & goodies shop on the same premises. A true gem in the heart of Edenvale!!

Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, this hidden gem has great food, wine/beer and cute deli/shop across from the restaurant. Staff was very helpful and kitchen accommodating of my vegan/gluten free needs.

I don't quite know where to start because everything was great!! The coffee was delicious, our food was beautifully presented, fresh and so tasty, the waitresses were friendly and we got a donut and some cake take away. I've never had such a fresh donut before, if you're a fan of Nutella I 110% recommend, the carrot cake was also to die for- 10/10!! Then the shop on site was absolutely gorgeous too, with beautiful decor items, gifts, candles etc and then little nibbles and sauces etc. I can't recommend enough!! We're so excited to go back to try a lunch. We booked a table and I would suggest that you do as they get quite busy. Also great to sit inside by the fire place now in winter.

I cannot fault this place. The coffee is great and the food is amazing too. My advice is stick to the prices on the menu and before adding extra stuff always ask for the price or else you may be surprised when the bill comes 🤭

Lovely place. The vibe is really nice and on a sunny day, a table outside is perfect. Coffee is served at 60 to 65°c which seems hot but after a minut your coffee is cold so if you like hot coffee maybe request it to be hotter than the suggested temperature. Food was really good and service was pretty decent.

Red hot. What a find ! Perseverance above all else. Don’t think twice, its nice. Spot on service, good food, and ambience and feel all there. Trawling for a place for breakfast after our parkrun nearby brought up all the usual commercial eating spots. I was looking for something different, with local flavour and uniqueness. Their access control is appropriate but once through that let my pictures confirm the look and feel. Love the place. It spoke to us and so we plan to return - for an evening meal.

Red Door is a quaint little restaurant snuggled into the tree line of the avenues in Edenvale. A converted home which welcomes diners on a pebbled path lined with a herb garden. The menu is varied with something for everyone. If you are vegetarian, Banting or love your cake behind the beautiful red door you will find something to make your tummy full and your heart happy. The staff are friendly and attentive but sometimes when the buzz is at its highest they seem slightly overwhelmed and tend to slow down in their good service. Everything here is worthy of a few extra minutes wait and the items on offer for purchase offer a great distraction while you wait. A great spot for breakfast and lunch. Red door also offer monthly Tapas evening which are a must and have recently held a successful Dia delos Muetos evening. Red Door makes you feel as though you are out of Johannesburg and somewhere in the Cape winelands. A place worth visiting.

This place is Magical... It like being oversees... but not... best coffee and breakfast, great staff... Great place to visit if you looking for something new...

We went to a theme evening dinner last night and WOW ....it was incredible. The set menu was exquisite. The service was fantastic and the ambience was just so welcomed by us all. The tequila lime pie was to die for! Highly highly recommended

Decor is retro, funky and amazing. A lovely cozy and warm coffe shop on a cold day and the cappuccino was delicious. I would go there just for the decor

My friend took me there for lunch yesterday. It was quaint and cosy. The food is made up fresh and not some reheated squish like some places do, so you have to wait awhile. When you're with someone special, you catch up with them & time flies whilst you wait. I even took a photo of my huge burger with delicious extra fried onion rings. The young waitress was really lovely. Would be nice if they were licenced but I'm sure that will come in time. Well done Red Door. Excuse your rude patrons, maybe they were just having a bad hair day.
