It's always promising when you are greeted friendly and with enthusiasm at a restaurant's door ... as it was at Sanook! The food was delicious and so beautifully presented. Our waiter, Ronald was great ... he made sure we had all we needed, without being a nuisance! We will definitely going back there again!

If you're in the mood for Mexican food then this is the place to be. There is a wide selection of Mexican style dishes that will satisfy most cravings. Large selection of drinks too, hot, cold, alcoholic and non. The food is delicious! Attention to detail in the food can be seen. The Seared Tuna tacos is a must try. The decor compliments the space to add to a great atmosphere whether you're on a date or eating with friends, it's a very relaxing vibe. The service is great and food came out fairly quick. Will definitely be back.

A great place, with good food and drinks

We had not made a reservation, but the accommodating hostess squeezed my aunt and I in. Service was efficient but not obtrusive. Great ambience. My aunt had their fillet special, which she thoroughly enjoyed, and I had a wonderful seafood pasta. Baked cheesecake and an apple calzone for dessert with coffee rounded off an enjoyable evening.

Okay, this place right here is what you can call a gem!! My word their food is amazing! Service Amazing! They have a variety of everything from breakfast to dinner. Their food is always fresh. Their Pizza is one of the best things you'll taste from there. Crisp and thin base, fresh ingredients. Pasta, burgers, buddah bowls... Their brownies, let me tell you, gooey, chewy, warm, chocolatey. Going to Sanook is never a disappointment and whatever you try on their menu is always amazing. It's a great family restaurant. It's wheelchair friendly. Has amazing views should you choose to sit inside. A walking distance from the restaurant is an indoor trampoline park, for parents looking for a date night. There's also a carwash nearby.

It was my birthday on 28 August and they accommodated me last minute which I was very grateful for. Our waiter provided us with fantastic service, he was really on point. Our drinks were delicious and even though it was busy and we were a table of 6 they really did a great job as we did not have to wait long for our cocktails. The only issue I have is that my Aunt and I ordered the prawn dish. The waiter claimed they were King prawns but they were not. Our prawns were first under cooked and after we sent them back we got them back over cooked, burnt shell and dry with no flavor. The prawns are not good value for money in terms of the potion and I don't recommend ordering them. If they were King prawns it would be better value for money.

If you are looking for tasty & crispy pizza's or freshly made pasta meals then i recommend this restaurant to be added to your bucket list. Each dish offers something different, whether it’s the ingredients in the dishes which changes the taste or the simplicity in the way it is presented on the plate. You are always greeted with a smile at the door, and a friendly waiter/ waitress who will see to you throughout the evening. This is defiantly a place to see.

Absolutely loved the food snd setting as a whole. Not my first time going there and I'd pretty much suggest any of the meals anf drinks on the menu, all depending on what is to your taste. The staff definitely try to be fast and to mean your requests and answer questions they may be knowledgeable of, related to the restaurant or food etc., of cause. Over all enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere and a good place to relax and enjoy the food as well.

Amazing atmosphere with the wood burning oven for their pizzas. A bit smoky inside but well worth the visit. Food was delicious. Try their coffee as well. The portions are big! Try their onion rings it is lovely!!The chicken wings and ribs were tender and so delicious. Try the sweetpotato skins!! Garpaccio is to die for!! Will definately recommend!

Food has been great. I can recommend the flour tacos rather than the corn tacos. Additionally the sticky ribs were very good Additionally the Empanadas were delicious. Another option is the Prawn Chorizo and Black Bean Quesadilla

Mixed feelings... I have eaten here many times before day and night and never really had a bad experience. Food is amazing and staff are always friendly and extremely accommodating. BUT, I am getting really pee'd off not being able to book a table at a convenient time suitable for my family. Is it your company policy to only seat people at 6pm and tell them to vacate by 7:30pm for your next seating? Unfortunately we won't be able to dine at Sanook Eatery for supper if we forced to "wolf" down our food to accommodate the next customer. Unless we resort to only ordering one meal and skipping starters and dessert and the one or two bottles of wine. Wonder if this is good for your sales? Just saying...

It's one thing finding a restaurant with good food, and another to find one with great service. But at Sanook-cafe we are always assured of both. Love the new menu and can recommend it to all. Thank you Jamie, Natasha and staff.

Had dinner for the first time at your restaurant last night. Absolutely amazing food , wine was great and service was brilliant. I’m from Umhlanga and I have been blown away from the food served and experience I had at your eatery last night. Well done I can’t wait to get back

This place is just absolutely amazing, loved the food, the atmosphere. The waitress was absolutely amazing and professional.

The menu looked amazing but the food was underwhelming in comparison. We repeated our order to two separate waiters and the food order was still wrong with our bacon only arriving when the breakfast was almost finished. The milkshakes were amazing though. And then my daughter had a worm (cut in half but still alive) in her glass of water. I had to ask two waiters to call the manager and she said it could have come from anywhere especially the tap. I struggled to keep my food down after that

Had an Awesome Lunch on Thursday...Great Food I must say, Waiter was absolutely Amazing. I don't know when last I have had a Fantastic on point Pasta. I'm from PE and hope to eat there again. Maybe open a branch in Port Elizabeth. Wink wink!

What a night we had... I had the pleasure of going to Sanook last night as we were cerebrating my birthday. On arrival we were greeted with a smile and welcome by Winner who was awesome through out the night. The food was amazing the atmosphere/ ambience was on point all in all great evening and its a part of East London I will be taking back to Durban with me... Thank you Sanook and thank you Winner stat awesome.
