Review Silver Creek Spur Steak Ranch - Durbanville

Received a voucher for a free kids meal from my daughter's school. So I took her during the holidays. One of the neatest Spurs I have been to. Staff was efficient and friendly. Food was on par with standard Spur food. Definitely one of the better outlets in the area.

Picked up a takeaway using a Vodacom voucher. Friendly reception and advice re processing voucher. Order was ready in a few minutes. Great tasting desserts and deliciously spicy chicken livers. Prices getting a bit high at my age, clearly remember ordering the Manhattan Mushroom Burger for R2.95 in my student years.

I visited Silver Creek Spur on 20 Sept with my family of 7. I was very happy with the service from all staff especially the waiters. Despite being so busy they were attentive, friendly and efficient. Great service Keep it up

Definitely the best Spur I have been too. The service is fantastic, the staff are on it, so friendly and energetic. The food was great and awesome play area for the kids with two Spur staff members looking after them and doing a great job at that. Well done Spur Durbanville, we are a bit late to the party but we will definitely be weekly regulars.

In the restaurant industry there is so much that can go wrong that it is rare to find a place so well managed that absolutely nothing goes wrong. Nothing. Well Done Silver Creek, you are one of a handful of Spur's that still trades on the old service excellence of the spur franchise.

We had a wonderful time at this Spur. We celebrated a birthday there. We had kind, attentive waiters and the managers went out of their way for us. Highly recommended this amazing Spur!

Nice spur in the heart of Durbanville. You can always tell the quality of an establishment by the cleanliness of their toilets. We experienced friendly an efficient service by the staff. Will recommend it.

To get seated took a while, but after that I got fast and friendly service. The place was packed with 3 birthday party's at the time, so no complaints. Food was great.

This spur was very nice to go to. The service was great and the waiter we had was very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and of course the play area for the kiddies is awesome

Our waiter took forever to see to us, the kitchen got my order wrong & my waiter was still nowhere to be found. I waited about 10 minutes for him to arrive (after another waiter had to go call him). By the time I got my food, a good 25 mins later, my boyfriend was done with his plate. I told him to eat otherwise his food would get cold. There was the waiter that called our waiter who saw to us much more than what our own waiter did. He cleaned our table immediately after we were done, asked us if we need anything else etc. I really wish he was our waiter for the evening. My boyfriend wanted to tip him instead of our waiter. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. I’m not very happy with our service that we received at this Spur.

Friendly service and the best meals. They're very involved in the Durbanville community and offer wines from the Durbanville wine route! Best Spur. :)

Waiters seem disinterested, explaining options and menus with mumbles and as if reciting a text. Poor service on numerous occasions - cannot remember to bring bill or card machine after being asked a few times and eventually having to go to reception ourselves to settle while employees watch the TV or talk amongst themselves. Good food but service is unacceptable.

I was bored to have the usual cereal breakfast with tea. So wanted to try something new. I called my vegetarian friend and we went on a short drive to check out Yaco's eatery. We followed the map on Zomato which mislead us to this place instead of that one. Either way I decided to hit this place. My friend joined me with his fingers crossed when he noticed the smell of meat on the grills which was obviously motivating me. We went in and ordered for wings and calamari. He settled for some cheese garlic bread. We waited for nearly 30 minutes when I lost my patience and demanded the delivery. <br/>The food - The wings had a lot of barbecue sauce over it. The calamari was well cooked. What really impressed me was the mayonnaise. It went well with both the wings and calamari. A bigger surprise was that the cheese garlic bread was fantastic. Ovrrall food was not so bad compared to the average rating which was odd. Need to bring a bigger crowd next time and try the other dishes.

Use to love going to Spur for breakfast but seems like the portion sizes have shrunk tremendously!?<br/><br/>Staff are as friendly as always and service was quick.

It has become somewhat of a tradition to embarrass anyone in our family when they have a birthday by getting the staff of Spur to sing to them - no exclusions - mom, dad, granny, grandpa, brother or sister, nobody is spared! Tonight was my son's turn - sharing his 13th birthday with Mandela, we once again were not disappointed. John and his sons - Graeme and Arthur, run a true South African family restaurant. Good food, good value and good service.

Kids love it. Food good and service always efficient . Decent supervised play area's. Fills up fast. Reliable family pleaser. Good for kids parties.

Hosted a 6th birthday, upon arrival they hadn't set up yet which upset us. Table wasn't cleaned. Reason for this particular branch was tgat its quieter, nice play areas for kids. Aside from this food was nice, waiter that was assigned to us was amazing. He saved the day. I was disappointed that the Manager didn't even apologise for the delayed start.

Always great service always good food only problem is there is no smoking area and bathrooms are not inside the restaurant itself. Other than that this is a Spur to give a try

Always a good spot to go to when craving Monday Burger specials, or some of their well known tasty ribs.. I am pleased to go to this Spur at a more quiet venue.. Enjoy it.
