Think the place has got new owners. Decent pizza. But gets busy in the evenings, specially weekends, so plan accordingly

Snappy delivery. I'm not the biggest pizza eater but this was the most tasty and with freshest ingredients Hawaiian pizza with extra mushrooms I have ever eaten. I'll be back! 😻

Matt’s pizza’s in Graanendal has been one of the best take away pizza’s we have ever eaten. We have had a few different pizzas and they have all been tasty. The staff have such friendly personalities. Will absolutely recommend them.

Our first order from Matt's and the service received from Kyle was excellent. The delivery driver was polite and our order arrived on time. The pizzas were still nice and warm when delivered, and were absolutely delicious! We'll definitely be ordering from Matt's again!

A friendly family owned spot with the best wood-fired pizzas out here... and cheapest. They have some incredible pizza, but a call-out needs to be made for the Bolognese bomb - a family recipe which is now shared with love to the public. Highly recommend these guys, they are my default when wanting a pizza. Amazing, friendly fast service and the pizza's are always mouth-watering good.

Matt's Pizzas always a first choice pizza shop. Delivery driver with the red bike / blue Toescon is definitely a recommended pizza delivery driver as he is always on time and highly reputable. Name is Reece and may be specifically requested when ordering. Highly recommended 👌

Next time I’ll add photos. My family and I loved Matt’s Pizzas. They were large, not overburdened with ingredients and simply the best I’ve had from anywhere around here. Thin crust and quality toppings make for perfect pizzas. It’s a YES from me!

One of the best tasting and value for money pizzas in Durbanville. They just make pizza and they make it well.

UPDATE - this delicious pizza spot is under new ownership. We’ve continued supporting them despite the (previous) bad service experience due to their delicious pizzas - - and with the new owners you get FRIENDLY SERVICE with your drool-worthy pizza. WIN. Their pizzas are great and we've supported them on 4 occasions in the last month.... but unfortunately the owner and front of house staff are extremely rude, so we'll be searching for a new pizza spot.

Ordered a pizza and paid for extra avo and get this.. what even is this? There is the smallest pieces I have ever seen on the pizza.... I usually order here every weekend but I’m super disappointed in this place now

I was very disappointed in Pizza we bought there on Monday. We ordered the Meat Feast (Large). I could count the bits of meat on the pizza . Some slices had small 2 pieces of meat. The cheese does not even cover the whole pizza  For R86 rand. Even the frozen pizza from PNP would have tasted better!<br/>the meat feast should have rib, ham, salami .I think there were about 10 bits of meat on the entire pizza!<br/>I used to order the pizza all the time and was always tasty, Really don't know what happened over the last year. I will not buy from them again,

Great pizza, friendly service! Delivery always on time. Better pizza than any other store in Durbanville, including the major franchises, and reasonably priced.

Staff members are always friendly and on top of the ball. They stay open a bit later if need be to accommodate customers. The pizza is delicious. We will continue to only buy our pizza from Matt’s Pizza.

Matts Pizza is our go to pizza take away spot. Bases are made from scratch in their kitchen, they are always generous on their toppings and friendly. Would definitely recommend Matts to all . The only place where I order a Regina pizza,  it just tastes so much better from them than anywhere else!

The staff were very friendly and professional but other than that....Very disappointed in the pizza, bases were thick and undercooked, found some questionable toppings on the pizza to....

Best pizza's anywhere!!!! Nummy-num-num... 😀 Not all small pizzaria's are always successful, but Matt's Pizza's definately is one of the best pizzaria's. My new favourate place.

Not so fabulous when you go all the way there to order pizza and get told that you cant get pizza for another hr because their oven isnt ready.

Had high hopes seeing it was not a franchise.<br/>We ordered <br/>Margarita on a gluten free base<br/>Rib prego <br/>And there full meat option<br/><br/>We were disappointed, all the pizzas were bland and lacked flavour. The margarita from the kids PlayStation cafe we had yesterday was in a whole nother league<br/><br/>All the pizzas we reseasoned at home with a bit of salt and Robertsons Italian herbs made it more bearable

After we read the previous replies we were a bit hesitant to try out Matt's Pizzas. I can assure you, we were pleasantly surprised. The two pizzas were very good. They're not shy with the toppings and our order was ready within 20 minutes from when I ordered. Another plus is that they deliver free of charge in our area - a service we may just use in future. I'm glad we tried their pizza after all.

Mixed feelings about this one, we have loved getting our pizza bases from them, and have ordered a few times from their pizza menu, but ai, not up to standards, the staff can be a bit friendlier. The prices of the bases go up so often, and the cauliflower pizza bases, which should be low card, is mixed with everything low carb. They just not what it use to be, orderd pizza is so not worth it, very little toppings.

Our go to pizza shop. It's close to home and convenient. I always have the Bermuda, as it has all of my favourite toppings on it. The pizza is tasty, and I always enjoy is, however there is a bit of a lack in consistency. We've stopped ordering the seafood pizza as there are barely any toppings on it. They are very busy on Fridays- so ensure that you order early or you have to be prepared to wait. Would give it a better score, but at this moment we are annoyed with the service. They never seem to answer their phone anymore. (Or someone answers but doesn't speak- leaving the phone on the counter while you can hear what's going on in the shop and then arrogantly denying it when you mention it to them) The service at Matt's is definitely slacking, the staff aren't friendly and very unwelcoming, we do not order from them as often as we used to because of the service, which is such a shame because we love pizza. Will definitely give them a better score if the service improves. <br/>

I came 30 min later to collect my pizza, and my pizza was lost. So have to stand around now and wait for my flippen pizza. Very poor management.

Being a Banter, I have really been struggling to find a good quality colli pizza base until i came across this little gem. I was so impressed with everything about the pizza. I have experienced many of the colli bases to be very chewy and soggy but Matt's Pizza has it down to the T. Their normal pizzas are just as great (as i have been told by my hubby) so I definitely recommend this pizza heaven.

We used to buy pizza from here often, unfortunately the quality just started going downwards. Fewer toppings which doesn't really taste like much, no seasoning... Just bland... Another little pizza place that just couldn't cut it <br/><br/>

Really good pizzas! Service and especially delivery on Friday nights can be very slow, so check lead times before ordering. Can highly recommend!

Good tasting pizzas, and free delivery. Also one of the few places these days that do wood fired pizzas which is great! But they seem to be giving less and less toppings these days and I prefer buying the bases separately instead and making pizzas at home rather.

Had pizza's twice now and both times it was YUMMY :-)

Hands down the absolute best pizza in Durbanville. The only Mexican pizza I will eat is at Matt's. I can highly recommended it. Another favorite is the salame.
