What an incredible restaurant!! Exquisite decor, comfortable seating and friendly, diligent staff. The steak is cooked to perfection and the eisbein, crispy on the outside and beautifully soft on the inside. Huge portions too. Mouth-watering delicious food. An all-round memorable experience. Will definitely be back!!

Regardless of load shedding and taxi strikes - we were treated to friendly waiters (2) doing a great job! An accommodating manager, beautiful decor and the best eisbein I have ever had!! Thank you for going the extra mile! Looking forward to the next visit...

Alberto's was suggested to us for a decent meal and we weren't disappointed. The meal portions are big and definitely value for money. The decor is refreshing and the establishment is clean. Service was on point and we all left full, happy and satisfied.

Had dinner with friends and had a great time with really good food. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and seating but can be noisy due to no roof insulation. Service was very friendly and good.

Great service, good atmosphere and amazing food. Highly recommend the chicken with sun-dried tomatoes, the vegetables and the lemon meringue. They also have a good selection of wines that pair nicely with the dishes. Will visit again. PS: The lemon meringue was like eating a cloud and it's truly the best lemon meringue I've ever had.

Enjoyed our staff party here last night, and it was superb. Service was quick and professional, and the meals were all perfectly prepared and served. What an amazing restaurant, with amazing people. When you experience this, you know why Alberto's has been around 22 years. Well done Albert and crew

We paid the restaurant a visit late afternoon. It was quiet, but we were blown away when the food arrived. The food was incredible. Homey, comfort food at its best.

Our table was well satisfied with our meals. Very attentive waitress, and we were welcomed at the front door. Best eisbein.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we had the friendliest service. The food is full of flavor and so filling, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing and the kiddos had a wonderful time and quite enjoyed the play area. Thank you to the staff at Alberto's for such a wonderful evening. I 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a lovely evening out with the family or even with a calm evening with the significant other.

Very simple menu with comfort food being very much the genre. No frills but a good value evening out .

Alberto's have reopened at a new address, next to Wellington Road. Smart, attractive and spacious decor, seperate bar. Definitely worth a visit, the service is friendly and attentive, the food is good, although a bit more expensive in the new upmarket surroundings.

Fantastic staff... nice a chilled atmosphere, mostly covid regulations were adhered to bu the patrons. The only thing is I'm not to much a fan with rice with everything... The Chicken Livers starters were good but the rice was just too much. Each to their own though. Thanks for a lovely evening.

I love the relaxed atmosphere, sitting outside.Many times when eating out I feel done in by what is served. Either tasteless food or small portions. Not at Alberto's. I love their Sheep's neck, Eisbein and Afval. Big portions and tasty food. The waitresses are friendly and quick. A real great place to go if you are hungry

The food is excellent. There's lots of parking, we were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. The service is great. We'll definitely be going back.

The girl who helped us was very friendly and helpful. The food was quite expensive (the prices on Zomato is out of date) for food that is really not that great. Our pizza was good but cheaper I could’ve had a real Italian pizza at Vesuvio. I don’t know; just my opinion. 🤗

The guys are always happy but I don’t like to eat here since they don’t really offer any healthy options. It’s more average food but the guys are always happy with it.

Great food, great vibe and friendly staff! Love this place! The eisbein and oxtail are brilliant and enough for two. Only wish us they had Amstel on tap.

Hadn't been here in about 18 months. Service isn't great which is the norm unfortunately and found that the food really wasn't either. Good enough for a few drinks with friends but that's about it.

Nice social place ,nothing fancy...must say thise chicken or streak baskets are to die for....friendly staff and prices not to bad..........

Been trying to go here for a while since they have a kiddies play park - finally managed to get there and was greeted by waitresses busy with their own friends, didn't give us a second glance, only when we wanted to get a table then they gave us some attention just to be told that the kitchen is closed and only opens at 6pm again - we left - can't deal with such unwelcoming places - not worthy money

Reasonable price bar type.food with burgers and pizzas. The food is also nice. Not fine dining but a great dive for friends and family. Their beverages are also reasonably priced and wide. Nice atmosphere outside under the bregolas. Only pity that it's a bit hidden. Good vibe. Good food. Good place.

Just love this place. Small cozy place with great food. Homestyle cooking just as your mother made it.<br/>I can highly recommend Alberto's for an intimate evening with a loved one.

They have some good home cooked type of meals available, but the scene is more of a pub vibe, which is fine - but they could do with more space as you end up feeling squeezed in when sitting inside. The bar is right in the open with some loud crowds, which wasn't that disturbing but not a place to go to when you and your partner want a relaxed evening. Good with friends, oxtail was a big serving and tasty, and the lamb shank looked amazing. Value for money.

Before reading further, it should be noted that Alberto's is simply not my "cup of tea" - I prefer more modern establishments. On the plus side, their value for money is good (portions are excessively large) and their service is faultless. However, the food is barely average (size is no substitute for quality) and, in my opinion, not up to scratch by today's standards. To me, this is pub food, a better Spur basically. However, reading the other reviews, it is evident that Alberto's does a lot right for some people. Sadly, I am not one of them.

10/10 for food / prices / portion size / staff and service!!! Would recommend Albertos to anyone I know. Always order the Chicken Schnitzel topped with cheese and mushroom sauce. Best in town! Our waiter on Saturday was very friendly and helpful. Keep you the good work - you will outshine all the Durbanville Restaurants.

Perfect Date night spot gor the wife and me ! Lekkker atmosphere, Food is really comfy, Filling and excellent. Serlion steak is doek sag!! Definitelyrecommended!

We have a set date every Monday with very special friends. We call it our weekly therapy and only miss out date in case of emergency. You will have to go a far way to beat the quality and value for money you get at Albertos! As far as we are concerned, Albertos is the best restaurant in the Northern Suburbs by far. I have been here a few times and they never disappoint. Good honest food and good service as well. I went for dinner again over the past weekend. I had an old favourite - the lamb neck. Fall off the bone goodness and I love the home cooked feeling of their dishes. Our other order was the Pork neck slices, topped with pepper sauce. Large portions and great value! A good enough reason to visit them often. On previous occasions I had the eisbein, which were huge and done perfectly. I can also recommend their calamari, curry and home made pie. All delicious.

Great local spot, service is always good, certainly worth a visit with friends and family, food in general is very good and certainly better than one would expect. Hits all the right spots, however I personally feel it lacks vibe and enthusiasm and you kinda get the feeling they just going through the motions.

Incredibly good food. Lamb neck made to perfection. Oxtail's meat falling off the bone. The flavors are indescribable. Every bite is like your first bite, and you just want more. The malva pudding is home made and melts in your mouth and is absolutely delicious. Warm atmosphere and excellent service from the waitresses. Must book or you will be disappointed. Yummy yummy..........
