Went for breakfast. Was too late as the cutoff was 11am. Had lunch though. Was not at all dissapointed. Had the Lamb Flatbread and Beef burger with bacon and guacamole. As usual the food was amazing. Definately coming back again and again. Cheers.

Loved the food. The outside seating complimented the beautiful morning freshness. Staff was awesome and they even serve champagne at breakfast.

You can't beat a hand made lamb burger, french fries and creme brulee on Father's Day at Meerendal Wine Estate's Crown Restaurant.

The atmosphere was very basic and comfortable. The door was good and the coffee nice and strong. The penotage was ok but I liked the sauvignon blanc bit more.

Stunning restaurant. They have a lovely indoor setting as well as an outdoor area for sunny days. On the day we went they also had a kids inflatable play area which was great (except that it was not properly inflated). The food was very good although we did wait very long to get our dishes. My first visit was a revelation. I had a lamb curry which was served in a hollowed out sweet potato. Very tasty! The staff were attentive without being obstrustive and the food and drink were relatively cheap. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Beautiful venue on a beautiful wine farm. Delicious food. Best to phone before you arrive, especially on Sunday mornings. They also do various tastings at the tasting room just a few steps away. Very child friendly.
