If you wanted to go to a club, then suddenly thought ...<br/>I don't have the right shoes/shirt/pants ... but you still want loud music and lots of Noise... then this Is the place to be <br/><br/>Food ? No<br/>Poppin bottles and drinking ? YES! <br/><br/>Tons of "lounge" seating but it can get very busy after midnight.

If I could rate a 0 for service I definitely would!.<br/>The staff is slow and in a dwall they don't know what is going on!! You can ask them for something and they will say okay go and come back in a 1hour and 45min and say sorry what did you want again. <br/><br/>The food is totally over priced and not even worth it!<br/><br/>The design and deco is perfect however service and food is pathetic. <br/><br/>Won't return.

The state of the ladies cloakroom should have warned us off! One glass door missing in one cubicle, the lock missing on the other. The menu, on the upper price limit was fairly wide ranging until one ordered. My elderly mother ordered fillet steak, served with chips and vegetables. The steak, while tender, was NOT fillet, the chips were horrible and the vegetables did not arrive. My prawn and chicken curry with a cashew sauce arrived with not a cashew nut, sambal or poppadum in sight My husband who is ill ordered a dessert. the only dessert on offer was ice cream! I did not check the bill carefully as I left as I was helping my 90 year old mother but when I later checked the waitress had added to her tip! What a rip off!

DON'T COME HERE.<br/>The food is below par: The menu is not the same as the one here. It was horribly overpriced and when it eventually arrived after ages, it was virtually tasteless. <br/>The service is horribly lacking: Some parts of my party didn't receive a menu. On arrival, I ordered a coffee that never came. We didn't get serviettes. The music was too loud, even after we asked to lower the volume.<br/>The best part, the lounge, was out of bounds unless you buy a bottle. This was not communicated until a friend and I sat there. <br/><br/>Conclusion: This place sucks. It should get a negative rating.

Is there a way to rate this less than zero? Scoring it with a 1 gives it way too much credit...<br/><br/>Last night I popped in for a cocktail as I was early for supper down the road. I also wanted to see what the venue was like now days. I requested a menu and ordered a drink off it. When the bill came the drink was double the price. Well almost. The glossy paged hardcover booklet type menu said it was R30, but when the bill cam it was priced at R58. When I queried this I expected the bar lady to apologize and reverse it. She said that there had been a price change and I must pay the full price. I then sent her to talk to the manager again expecting sense to prevail and the price on the menu which I ordered off to be charged. Amazingly she came back to the bar with an A4 sheet of paper with a very basic menu printed in black and white which could only have been printed straight from a word document . The message was clear, the full price should be paid.<br/><br/>Anyway long story short(er), when I spoke to the manager she had attitude like no other. Note that I had to walk to find her, as the waitress directed me. When I found her and addressed the overcharging situation she pointed aggressively at the waitress and blamed her (with absolute disregard for any professionalism) and then looked away from me and continued to talk to the other employees who were sitting and eating take away food in seating for customers. This is despite the fact she also claimed not to be the manager. When I asked where the manager was, she said the owner would be coming later.<br/><br/>I am amazed how a venue which is absolutely clueless as how to operate in a customer service industry still stays open? I can only imagine that they run at a loss? I highly advise that if people want good service and a pleasant atmosphere (my opinion) that they stay well clear of this venue. <br/><br/>Basically horrible, horrible and horrible. I will never go back, and I will tell anyone who asks how bad it is.

with a few of my friends, we decided to try out velvet lounge for the first time.<br/>the service was a total 0%, the waitress could not under our order,we had to wait for 40mins just for our starters.<br/>ordered drinks and waited for 20 mins just for a opener, the waitress just layed the drinks and took off like<br/>buzz lightning. no serviets...waited for the staff to go buy them and on a hot saturday night, no ice, the waitress mentioned they "ran out" total disappointment
