rate this restaurant 5star because of José. Hes made a remarkable difference to my opinion of this restaurant. The level of service improved along with the quality of food As well as the efficient timing & excellent communication too. This staff is a keeper !

Stopped by Country Bake on a Friday morning, a sunny but chilly day. Upon entering you are met with a wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and baked goodies. After being offered a table we opted for a couple of cappuccinos , which were heavenly. Rich, robust flavours with a mild chocolatey undertone. Perfect start to your day 😁. I opted for the Sunrise breakfast, which included 2 eggs, sausages, baked beans, chips, grilled mushrooms, and grilled tomatoes. A hearty feast indeed! Farm fresh organic eggs, the yolks bursting with goodness, crispy chips, garlicky mushrooms, slightly spicy baked beans topped off with 2 lamb sausages. The crispy homemade farm style slab of toast was the perfect accompaniment to the already stellar breakfast. Lovely start to the day. We also opted for the omlette, which was a half moon shaped food treasure chest containing 3 cheeses and fresh crisp veggies. Accompanied by the same lamb sausages and a small side salad. Very satisfying 👍. Service is attentive and warm. They have an adjoining trendy art space where you can sit as well, with custom art pieces for sale. The bakery section is packed with freshly made cakes, pies, desserts and breads, so be sure to buy something for a treat later on. 😁Overall a very good experience. The place to literally sit and have a bite to eat while watching the world go by. Fully Halaal. Recommended 👍👍

Old time favourite. Wonderful coffee and treats. Marvelous Mondays are appreciated! New seating area is refreshing and inviting. Would want to spend hours reading, playing games or catching up with family and friends.

Excellent breakfast gluten free / carb free options a winner

Lovely coffee and bakery spot in Durban. The atmosphere, decor and setup is amazing. The staff here is very friendly especially the old Indian gentleman. Love the menu, very Monday my friends and I head over here for the Marvelous Monday R10 special. This spot is a must try 👌🏽

This place totally blew my mind. I had the simply eggs on toast from the menu along with the sweet French toast. The eggs are free range and are really wholesome. The French toast was absolutely fantastic. The cappuccino is really nice, rich and creamy made with fresh milk. 10/10 would recommend

Wonderful breakfast, lovely Sunday morning experience. The waitress was very friendly and made sure we were looked after. Great menu, with choices from breakfast and lunch meals. Must try items from the famous bakery.

A hidden Gem! If you enjoy sweet treats you'll love this place!! There's a variety of pastry treats, pasta. They make delicious Alfredo 🔥Cool place for solo dates, coffee dates, etc there's also an art space 🌝

The masala mutton biryani was very delicious. Also had the Koesister and a fruit loaf takeaway. The biryani is a Friday special. I recommend them. The portions are good. Price is around R110. The fruit loaf unfortunately wasn't the fresh baked one because it was just crumbling apart at home when sliced. The koesister was good with the excellent cappuccino they serve...#CurryCulture🌶

Lovely coffee and meals were delicious. The pastry table looks absolutely inviting wish I could of fit in more to eat and to taste them all

Lovely little place. Fantastic Chai tea latte. We had scones and cream and although we got served a half a scone (1st time ever) it was actually enough.
