Ntaoleng was our waiter she was amazing. She has a passion for her job she made us feel at home yet in luxury. Food was devine. The manager came and checked on us which was also amazing

Always try to go here as it's one of the only places that still serves pork chops. The do the chops to perfection and there is a sense of pride in their cooking. Our waitress was delightful as well(young Indian lady with a plaids) Now the food: Chip: 9/10 Seafood Pasta: 8/10 Pork Chops: 9/10 Chorizo starter:8/10 Complimentary roll was cold 6/10 Complimentary pickle/relish: 8/10 Accompanying chillie sauces: 5/10 Service:9/10 Tips to take home: there is a Manager who works there(white gentleman)that always looks upset and never ever greets or smiles. Cheer up dude... the other Manager a tall black gentleman is always bubbly and jumping about and talking to us. That being said. Overall 8/10

Food is very delicious. Good value for money with their specials. Food portions are a lot. It's definitely worth trying.

Celebrated women's day with my mum and aunt at Calisto's. We arrived at 11am, the waiter who served us definitely needed more training. At first he told us he was not sure if the kitchen was opened, I was obviously shocked so I sent him to check... which it was opened. He then told us that we could not order sides of mash or vegetables because the kitchen had not prepared it yet and we could only order chips. But then we saw another waiter serving the table next to us vegetables. Waiter was unattentive. The managers checked on our table and did get my mum her coffee. However when the food arrived it was very tasty. The chicken pasta was creamy and very delicious, the portions were big. Best pasta I ate in a long time. The hot drinks were made well. The chips were dry and didnt look so good. (See the photo). I will give the chefs 💯 for making our women's day lunch delicious. Atmosphere was good. Furniture inside the restaurant looked worn out and old. Will go back for the food..... and I hope next time Calisto's can redeem themselves.

my mum and I visited this place for the first time. Our experience was so lovely. we was greeted so warmly. the staff are friendly, helpful and so nice. the place is comfortable and clean. the manager charlie is such a great guy so friendly and kind. The food was devine we had prawns with chicken . our order came on time we didn't have to wait it's a good place for family or friends gathering or even a date for a couple. will surely go back again

We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at the entrance 👍 Our waiter Thobelani is just a gem, he was friendly, attentive and really helped us decide our drinks and meals. My friend enjoyed her Seafood Espada, My steak was just perfect.. Yum yum. Our chips were oily though. Something needs to be done about the bathroom, what a mess in there😩 We had fun, will definitely go back

Food was good, portions slightly on the smaller side, very less chicken and prawn added to the Pasta, otherwise food is okay, first time to dine there, waiter was clearing up the dishes and drinks without asking if we were done. Food was a bit on the cold side when it arrived. Food arrived fast

Firstly , our food was exceptionally good. Our waiter Prosper Sithole was very attentive and very good at what he does. My husband had dropped his knife and we assumed nobody saw and we carried on. But prosper was excellent. He immediately brought out new cutlery. Waiting time was 10 mins for the main. 5 minutes for the starters and 3 minutes for beverages. I commend you, and the restaurant. I come from a hotel establishment and work as a food and beverage manager. I can safely say this was a very very very good experience. Well done!!!!!!!!!

We really enjoyed the prawn, but wish the size is a bit bigger. The chicken was ok, could have been more charred grill.

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food was flavorsome. Wide range or drinks. Its a pitty they close so early on a month end weekend. Loads off people came by after the show at the Globe and was a bit disheartened to see the doors closed at 11pm. Over all experience was great.

Simply one of my faves🙂👌🏽 great service from the waiters. They offer complimentary bread while waiting for your order🤗💯 the food is delicious. Restaurant is aesthetically pleasing with a beautiful view and nothing but chilled vibes. Definitely recommend it 100%

The food is great. We sat inside overlooking the beach. We went again in March this year and it was so busy, so we waited longer to be served.

Great place, the milkshake is one of the best milkshakes I've ever had! There's no artificial colourants so they basically cream in colour, but they are amazing! The hake was mediocre, the fish could have been served with some tartar sauce as it is served in other restuarants. The pastas are delicious and the Mozambiqican chicken strips curry with rice was pretty good. The staff is very friendly and extremely welcoming.
