Review The Circle Cafe - Durban

Keith Blond
Limited kosher menu but the best cheese cake. A spotlessly clean small Coffee Shop ☕️ providing a light snack. The highlight being the cheese cake

A new kosher discovery and a delight. Food was very well prepared, fish very fresh and served promptly by a very friendly and helpful lady. Will definitely be back.

This spot is one of my fave spots in Durban. I am top rating them but not saying anything about the rich, fresh chocolate cakes or the most perfect cheesecake or the charming cappuccino cups. I’m not saying a word…

A soothing place for contemplation. I found it to be spiritual. Great team/food and service and wonderful surroundings. The Jewish museum is confronting on a deep level and I would say absolutely a must to walk through.

Hidden gem. Warm, friendly staff in a quiet, cosy setting surrounded by cookery books. You are welcome to browse the books while visiting which is a lovely idea. The cheesecake lived up to its reputation as did the bagels, both quite big portions. Highly recommend a visit, it's a special place.

Absolutely loved this gem !!! The service was excellent and so were the menu options. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Safe parking on site available. Restrooms were very clean. I absolutely love the take-away crunchies (10 per pack) ... the best I've ever tasted.

They have a simple menu with tasty food. The staff are very welcoming and the setting is peaceful and air-conditioned. Their cheesecake is delicious and worth a visit alone!

It's great to have this favourite venue back in business after Covid restrictions. The cheesecake is as good as ever and the fishcakes taste even better! Light and airy, it's a peaceful garden haven in the city.

When it comes to eating kosher in Durban, you can either buy food from the Musgrave Centre Pick N Pay or you can treat yourself to absolutely delicious dairy /vegetarian meals at this restaurant. It's a pleasant place to enjoy a meal, you get quick service and prices are decent. Above all - food is simply delicious. Try the fish cake...

Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food. Recommend the bagels and cheese blintz. This is a hidden gem ... Well worth the visit. The Holocaust museum is a must see too.
