Very nice setting away from the road this Afros serves the lunch crowd well in Durban. Their coffee is excellent as well and I would recommend it. I have actually been there just for the coffee once.
The chicken is absolutely amazing though. In pure Afros style, simple is the name of the game. Never forget that half and half is an option on almost everything though.

The staff member operating the POS was friendly and willing to converse about the best food options. He also made helpful suggestions which made the meal taste better. The service was fast, although when it is busy, there can be a minor waiting period.

Afros is so good! I like that there are different options of how you want your chicken ie strips/burger/wrap, but that there aren't too many! Quality over quantity. Afros never disappoints. Also in a great and safe location surrounded by only good vibes!

Afros sells street food. You can order chips and chicken strips, a chicken burger, coleslaw and some cold beverages. The food is tasty and relatively healthy in comparison to other takeouts. The prices are reasonable, the service is quick and the food tastes great too. The staff is always friendly and chatty. I would recommend Afros to teens, those in their 20s and 30s and anyone young at heart as the set up is casual and vibey.

Good setting/ environment. Outdoor seating on wooden deck. If you 'gluten intolerant' you could try their "strips & tjips" just make sure you tell them you gluten intolerant and they will leave out the wheat flour from the chicken.
