Fresh, tasty and cheap. One of the few authentic Indian cafes who have retained its reputation. The place is somewhat small, hole-in-the-wall type though and street parking is always a challenge.

I will start with a little story to talk about how wonderful the owner of the place is. Me and my wife visited Durban for a office work and as usual as a foreign visitors were craving for Indian food. We went to this place and had masala dosa and chai. They talked to us and made us feel comfortable. We got to know it was there for the past 35 years. At the end when we had to pay the bill our credit card didn't work for some reason and we had no cash with us. After trying several times the payment failed. They told us to pay when we reach India and nothing to worry about the failed payment. I have not seen such a pure hearted people even in India. Hats off to the couple who run this place for their customer support and service. Coming to the food. You get the best Indian food in Durban here, without any second thought you can enjoy the food here.

Recommended for the taste of Gujarat. No glamour but sheer quality of food. Moderate seating area but we'll managed set up. Thali as well as snacks available. Kudos to the lady boss who manages all orders with smile.

Food is inexpensive and delicious. I would have given a five star rating if it were not for the location. Parking is not easy also. However the food is a must for a vegetarian Durbanite. The Masala tea with just a plain tepla is also great. I tried the Thali. It has a few curries and well worth it.

Lovely eatery in central Durban. Vegetarian menu. Tasty breyani, curries and snacks. They have been operating in Durban for decades and are a favorite amongst many. If you are in the area, you should try them out.

Very good authentic gujarati food in durban. Sweets are fantastic. Special items are made on Saturday. Only problem is there is no parking facility.. but taste of food made up for the parking hassle.

Visited this place for lunch while I was around in Durban. Must visit place for all Gujarati authentic food lovers. Great reception and service and the price that they ask is very reasonable for the quality and quantity served. Owners are from Surat and they know their business very well. Cheers to the team Little Gujarat. Keep serving yummy food :)
