There was no water when we arrived and oil, which was something I believe could have been sorted out day before or even weeks if proper planning is done ….otherwise the food was awesome

Had a wonderful experience, the view is amazing, friendly helpful staff, the food was okay but the DRINKS were amazing. The Cocktails are also very affordable, starting at R65. Will definitely visit again.

I went to this place about 4 times during my stay in Durban, its soooo underrated but probably because its on South Beach, and it has like old fashioned house sofas 😂 this place has beautiful seaviews and a balcony too, the cocktails are to die for and affordable and worth every cent, the food absolutely delicious, the staff are amazing. I will always visit this place when I'm in Durban as long as they stick to this quality.

The best experience of an urban ‘chisa nyama’. It is a great place to for lunch and early dinners for a great views and sunset. They also have a great music. The menus didn’t have much variety though.

Huge portions of Shisa Nyama, the traditional dish of Durban. The meat is of very good quality and well spiced. Fortunately they offer takeaway packing because you cannot waste this amount of lovely food. The atmosphere at the beach in cozy armchairs is very relaxing. Service is also nice, and well if they don't come to check on all the time, just go to the counter and they will promptly be back serving you.

I love this place! The food is delicious, killer cocktails, and a very chilled vibe. Although, there needs to be an upgrade in the furniture, it's old and outdated. Other than that, everything else is excellent

The setup and location are perfect , ocean view and just the design and colourfulness of the place is lovely. I was not happy about the food but I believe they will work on that because I was given room to explain what was missing. Overall the place is nice and looks good.

We used the venue for an event, and service we received was phenomenal. Good Spot.

Nice place... we went there for lunch with small children , first wanted a take away but decided to sit in. Food was nice, idk of that was the manager but he even gave the kids an extra portion of chips . Lol. Enjoyed the day there. We even had live music. The fact that the kids were welcome was a big plus.... def be eating there again. The ocean view, the vibe. Big thumbs up.

I go there every afternoon for drinks and some morning for breakfast. Their breakfast special is filling and to die for (especially the poached eggs option). The staff is always standing to attention and ready for you. I love the attentiveness of the bar staff and the chef. The place is one for the young and hip. It has a rustic feel to it and sofisticated seating arrangement.

Some of the best short ribs I have ever had. The chef is really good and he experiments with different favours. I had this coleslaw with Pecan nuts it was absolutely fabulous. Location is perfect as it is right there on the beach. They also have djs playing good music. The waiters are very attentive

The place is lit, friendly staff. I had a fabulous time there. Thanks The Joint staff for the great time. These place is well placed at the ocean view, you get to have the smell of the ocean while enjoying yourself. You can indulge yourself with food and beverages of your choice.
