We made a quick decision, after a long day on the road, to sit down for a bite to eat. Andrea's looked inviting, and we both have a penchant for Italian food. I totally forgot to take photos of the food, I just dove in. We had gorgonzola prawn tails as a shared starter and it was out of this world! Hubby had the meatball pasta with homemade tagliatelle. It was bursting with tomato flavour. I ordered the bacon, avo and feta pizza. Over and above the fact that they use Danish feta, the tomato sauce used as base was spread to the edges of the dough. No hard crusts here!!! Andrea's reminded me why I always try to support private businesses over franchises.

Food was good but personally I prefer a bit more seasoning. Service was also good.

What a great little restaurant . My wife loves the Picante pasta and i often have the Sicilian Pizza . An interesting new pizza i tried was a spicy chicken liver pizza . When it comes to starters , the gorgonzola snails are simply the best in Durban and i have tried many restaurants . Staff are always friendly and portions are a good size.

Whenever I am in Durban I will reserve at least two evenings to savour their lamb dishes - the rest of the food must be fantastic if the lamb is anything to go by - go there and taste for yourself!

Last night I picked up a takeaway chicken parmigana with veg. Honestly, that chicken is delicious. I highly recommend it. The portion size is huge and I loved the veg. Not the expected spinach but rather a potato bake and butternut.<br/><br/>Looking forward to trying out a pizza.
