What more can I say except MMMMMMMM! Plan B serves some of the tastiest take-away desserts in the city. For a true Bubble Waffle experience, this is a must try!
We tried the Lemon Meringue, Funky Monkey and Honey/Caramel offerings, all of which were deliciously messy and satisfyingly sweet. Being the excessive people we are, we also ordered the giant stuffed churros which rounded off a great trip to an amazing place!
Friendly and fun staff and great selection of treats makes Plan B a wonderful place to visit with your friends, family, significant other or yourself if youre in need of some comfort!

The desert here is phenomenal!!!!!! Absolutely amazing. The artwork on the still water is beautiful just had to buy the water.
There isn't a lot of space inside the shop so a grab and go is best. Explore Umhlanga while having the desert and you will be fine!

Lovely little spot! I had the Wimbledon Bubble waffle. It’s a delicious waffle stuffed with vanilla ice cream, crushed meringue,chocolate sauce and normally with strawberries but I had mine with mixed berry compote due to unavailability of the strawberries. It was DELICIOUS!! It got a bit messy but it was worth it. Thumbs up!

Had churros multiple times from Plan B and it was always raw in the middle. Not sure how this has not been corrected as yet. The ice cream they served with it was also pretty plain. The bubble waffles are okay but they really need to calm down with the sugar in their toppings/fillings. Nice concept, just needs refining.

I just think the store itself needs to have more seating, especially indoors. Bring a bottle of water, but you can buy theirs too-it has super dope designs on the outside. The sweets were YUM!!😊 I just hate how the cone situation lacks cream/ice-cream towards the apex of the cone. The dessert then is/seems dry. A good vibe all around. Would definitely return.

Oddly enough, we came to Plan B for churros after we just had lunch at a Mexican restaurant. <br/><br/>I would like to consider myself a churro connoisseur of sorts so I’m probably going to nitpick at the churros- which were pretty good by the way. <br/><br/>They were crispy but still soft in the middle. The filling I chose was chocolate custard. <br/><br/>Custard??<br/><br/>You could probably think about it as the watering down of chocolate. The filling needed to be richer, chocolatey and thicker.<br/><br/>Next time, and there is a next time, waffles.

I was keen to try Plan B for the novelty of the bubble waffles. The place was really busy when we arrived but the the staff appeared to be working hard to get things out as fast as possible so I didn't mind the wait too much. We ordered a waffle and some churros. The waffle was decent enough, but I'm not that big of a waffle fan to begin with. The churros however blew me away. The consistency of the donut part was perfect and so was the chocolate sauce. Really decedent but well balanced.

The bubble waffles are out of this world! Really good waffles, quality ice cream and decadent toppings. The churros were a disappointment though- not cooked through and runny filling so I returned them. The service was excellent and the manager apologetic for the churros but the waffle more than made up for this. Try the chocoholic. Will definitely go back.

The bubble waffle trend hit S.A. hard and this spot seems to be doing it right. Visited on a Saturday evening and the queue was literally out the door. <br/><br/>They have a number of attractive looking bubble waffle filling options, I tried the Wimbledon. It had strawberries, crushed meringue, ice cream, and cream. While it could've done with more meringue it was otherwise very generous filling wise.<br/><br/>The churros that they had on the menu also looked amazing.<br/><br/>Service was relatively quick considering the huge number of people they had to cater for. Seating is limited so if you're going during peak dessert time you may end up with a take away or huddling somewhere outside the store with your wares.<br/><br/>Definitely nice to have something different in Durban for once and will be back again to try out more.

I was dying to go to Plan B for ages to see what the hype is all about but I was pretty disappointed. Their waffles are a small quantity and really nothing special. My standards may be too high since I'm used to Le Kreamery- they truly have no rival when it comes to their waffles

Service was average, didn't really explain anything. had the churros, fresh and hot, were enjoyable. Unfortunately no ambiance , both tables were wobbly and the other was dirty.

Great spot, lots of variety!!! Easy to eat dessert, not messy. Quality of the ingredients is awesome fresh fresh fresh, everything is prepared in front of u, clean clean clean. Love it, definitely gonna be going back really soon.

As far as dessert places go Plan B comes out top. Brilliant concise menu. They know what they are doing and they do it well. Everything prepared fresh in front of you. Had to give in to the craze and try the bubble waffles. Delicious flavour combos to satisfy any sweet tooth. The dessert taco was interesting, a sugar cone shell with ice cream and selected toppings topped with fresh cream, but equally amazing. Also well priced. Coming from Joburg I expected it to be more but real value for money. They only thing needed is more seating as it does get busy. Joburg needs one ASAP!

Truly one of the coolest places ive been to... waffles are the best thing ever and these guys have put them in a cone and all our minds have blown. And im ok with that... awesome concept that puts a smile on anyones face... menu game isnt too strong though. Need to chamge it up a littke guys, something is still missing.

Had to try this place after a friend couldn't stop taking about it :) The que was super long when we got there (2nd good sign). This is pretty standard for weekends and public holidays. Got myself a bubble Waffle -Funky Monkey. Well worth the long wait..... just delicious.I think I have now found my new dessert place. Can't wait to go back and try out their Churros.

Overrated...<br/><br/>Long queues and a VERY LONG wait...<br/><br/>I had the waffle, which was not particularly delicious. It was too big for the little amounts of filling inside, and... Not to mention, it's expensive! I can probably make 3 of them for the same price at home! The only real differentiating factor is the waffle type, otherwise you'll be better off making it at home, in my opinion. All the ice cream melted to the bottom and soaked into the flimsy cardboard cone! The churros were 'chewy', it was covered in so much cinnamon it became unbearable. The accompanying chocolate sauce wasn't good as well.<br/><br/>Not worth it...

I love the vibe at Plan B Dessertery! The staff are quite friendly too. Within 7 minutes of me arriving there, the queue was out of the door. The presentation of the waffles and dessert tacos are on point. The bubble waffles not only look interesting but are light and fluffy too. The toppings were quite generous. The caramel milkshake is one of the best milkshakes I've ever tasted! The churros are delicious although the dough is a bit heavy because it is deep fried. All in all I had a great experience at Plan B and I would definitely visit again!

I've been seeing this place all over social media it's so cute, tread with caution if you don't have a sweet tooth though because they really only specialize in sugar goods. <br/><br/>The bubble waffles are cute but difficult to eat considering they come in cone form add all the toppings and it's even more of a task. I can't remember exactly what I ordered but it was way too sweet I would have much preferred the plain waffle and ice cream, nonetheless it's a really great treat and you can get two desserts for under R80. Their still water comes in a really cool bottle too. <br/><br/>Staff is well trained and friendly, I can definitely see what the hype is about.

Waffles are fluffy and delicious enough to be eaten alone! Bubble waffles could do with more ice cream at the bottom. Great experience. Definitely worth a second visit 😊

I was a victim of a trend appeal 😂 <br/>As expected, the place was busy, but the customer service was efficient; we were served within 10 minutes. <br/><br/>I ordered the chocoholic and my friend has the bees knees. The actual waffle cones were extremely delicious and fluffy, which I enjoyed the most. However, the chocolate ice cream tasted like rich hot chocolate, and that combined with the oreos, cream and caramel drizzle, made the filling too rich for my taste. <br/><br/>Personally, i think the hype of plan B exaggerated the quality of this dessetry.

Pleasant experience at Plan B.<br/>Stood in the queue for some time but the service was efficient and friendly.<br/>Ordered a chocoholic bubble waffle which was satisfied my sweet tooth for that time. <br/>Also ordered some choc filled churros which were extremely dense and would be difficult to eat without a hot beverage. I was disappointed as they weren't filled more like just dipped at each end. <br/>The place has a nice relaxed Sunday afternoon vibe

Great funky monkey bubble waffles and white chocolate filled churros. The churros was exceptionally sweet - the dough and the cinnamon sugar coating. But overall a wonderful dessert. <br/><br/>Waited over an hour for the order, but the store was absolutely busy.

We fell for the hype🙌🏽 had another bestie date day. So here's my absolute honest opinion...these bubble waffles are definitely photogenic, presentation is great and the waffle is as fluffy as cloud. But the vanilla ice-cream just tasted like something cold in my mouth...borderline American Parlor vibes, and our astros were stale. Petty things really, so other than that it was a bit of fun having one of those. Maybe I'll go for a taco next.

This place was busy but don't be disheartened...stand in the queue cos what you get out is delicious. I chose the chocoholic bubble waffle...chocolate sauce, Oreos and chocolate ice cream...the waffle is really good...fresh and perfectly soft!
