Everything was fine friendly staff. The only problem we had was the Resting room/toilets ayi they are far shame if they can arrange something there by the area I'm sure most of us would appreciate.

This is an awesome chill space. Great location, with a nice holiday vibe. The pizzas are authentic and really tasty.

Excellent wood oven pizza, comfortable chairs, self service / pay for each round seperately - no tabs allowed, no waiters. Nice ocean vibe, professional staff. Parking area bit dull. Run of the mill choices for drinks but well made.

Really good artisanal pizza (Durban style)! Even a lamb curry topping on a thin crispy base! Service a little slow, but a beachfront favourite!

Great location & I watched Springboks win their 3rd World Cup. Dissapointed on Fri night 1st of Nov, they closed early though it was a busy weekend with Soweto Derby in Dbn. I'm coming 🔙 soon

Possibly the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Not the fault of the staff, but likely bad management right from the top. This place was recommended to me by my host and it seems this placed used to be incredible, but standards must have dropped. So many things went wrong. Confused orders, can't print the bill because there is no paper, no chilli or garlic served. Went to find it and had to help myself DIY style from other patrons messy left overs chilli and garlic bowls on the counter. Asked staff whats the protocol to this, and they didn't know. And of course bad bland pizza with old ingredients. Very very expensive too. Because of the limited till menu structure my fairly simple pizza ended up costing well over R100. Also, there are basically no staff. No-one to clean our tables, did it myself. Also no manager around to even speak to. The two staff members tried to help where they could but clearly very busy and under stress. Anyways, won't be back.

Their Pizza's are delicious and the service is great. The environment as whole is very chilled and my friends and I enjoyed the Saturday live performance especially Mike Wagner's performance...... I recommend Blue Dolphin Bar to all my friends and they all love it.... keep up the great service guys

Hi guys Came in today and for the fifth time in this year there was no ice cream or no Ganache It's really the best shake in town a pitty it's never in stock

Pizza is a must try. Best pizzas I've had, along with their Sangria. Overall setup is very nice and a good atmosphere, A must try. The menu listed on Zomato however is incorrect and needs to be updated.

The Blue Dolphin is definitely the place to be if you want a chilled night out downing some cocktails and having a laugh with friends. Music is not too loud or overpowering but just the perfect background for an enjoyable evening .... Service is a bit slow, I've noticed this on busy nights and quiet nights. The waitrons don't really attend to tables outside which was a downer. Otherwise a nice place to chill...

Great chill spot in north beach if you wanna grab a few drinks and chill. Not much of a sushi fan but they do a good job 😂👏🏻 being close to the beach is an added bonus

Ordered the vegetarian pizza called "Leela" and it was delicious :) lovely crispy thin base and it was the first time I had potato on a pizza which was interesting. The service is great - orders are placed and paid for before sitting down which is quite cool as well. There is ample parking and an outdoor area which has huge glass windows that allow viewing of the road along the coast.

This place is great and has a lovely setting. Very good thin pizzas and drinks. One can spend hours. Unfortunately some staff members are casual, sometimes forgetful, too professional and unfriendly. Yesterday I went with some friends. We placed order for a cocktail at the bar. It took extremely long for them to deliver drink after reminders as the bar tender had forgotten about our order! Very unprofessional. Junior staff is much better and customer friendly.<br/>

Had to come and alter my 4 star review after coming to the blue dolphin recently (nov 2018). It was such a disappointment. I cannot understand how management allowed the place to decay so much. Staff is severely unprofessional. Ordered a pizza and they could not locate our table (the device they gave us to let us know the pizza was ready did not work). They simply wrapped the pizza in foil until I went to complain why we had not received our order. It was also difficult to get plates and cutlery. Staff was unable to see their fault, and after I complained they became very rude. So sad, because this placed used to be great and actually the pizza still is very good. But service is really hard to swallow.
