Review Olive & Oil - Durban

Loved it! Finally got a chance to go and try it. The seating, menu, and our waitron were spot on. And the food?! 5 stars for that gourmet steak! It was well cooked, and juicy, and moist, and was super impressed at the knowledge of our waitress on the different steaks. Will definitely be back. The downside though, was that the cloth napkins were filthy, and the filth was ironed over, as some bits were crusty. Laundry services could be improved, or move to disposal ones.

Went there to celebrate a birthday. Food takes a bit long, but it's because its being cooked, not defrosted! So the wait is worthwhile because the food is delicious. Service and staff ...very good.

A Departmental lunch at this quaint restaurant. Pre-ordered off the menu. (Three course meal). Overall a good vibe and experience. If you're planning a year-end luncheon, there are no private suites available so your voice is drowned by banter in the space

Exceptional and extremely affordable. I must take my family there.

Visited this spot after many moons (21 Dec 22). The food and service didn't disappoint. The deep fried calamari and veg main is a must try. Highly recommended.

The place was quite busy, but the atmosphere made it feel nice and cosy. The food took a while to come, but once it did, it was quite tasty. Only problem is that parking is not the most ideal unless you get lucky.

It's amazing how busy the street us outside, but once you step in Olive and Oil, it's just peaceful and relaxing. There was a band playing on Saturday night, had a wonderful tender steak, Oh and the mushroom sauce was so rich and creamy, I loved it. I was a bit disappointed on the options of deserts, I think you can improve on that, i love dessert, and going to a restaurant is all about getting or eating what you would not have normally at home.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Durban. The ostrich is a staple must have for mains. Chicken and Butternut Salad is out of this world. We are always greeted by smiling faces and the music is quite entertaining even if you don't understand a word they are saying.
