An excellent addition to the Durban North food scene. Expect a casual but tasty eating experience, very much in a Greek taverna style. There's a great buzz, and you may well have to queue in order to get a table.

Halloumi starter best ever 10/10 calamari starter 10/10 should be offered as a main dish flavours Devine and portions just great .. so sorry cud not try the delicious looking desserts just could not eat another thing unfortunately ... definately will try the Corrugated Baklava when I next return which will be soon

We had a delicious lunch yesterday! The atmosphere was festive & fun but relaxing too. Always appreciate a restaurant that's kid friendly. High chair available. The service was good too. Been twice and will definitely be back! Try the Sangria! �

Our second visit to Nikos Coalgrill Greek restaurant, last Sunday we had lunch as well.
Yesterday we arrived at 12.30 for lunch and left at 18.00 🙈🙈. Always made to feel welcome. Food and staff are wonderful. Certainly worth another visit soon 🤗🥂🍷
Been lucky enough to eat at Nikos twice and both times experienced great service and even better food! Fantastic restaurant - will definitely be back soon!
Food was amazing, had the prawn starter that was next level. The pulled lamb spaghetti was absolutely melt in your mouth delicious. Hubby had the skinny lamb chops and chips and said it was delicious too. The portions are big enough for a hearty meal. The atmosphere is great with servers always checking on you, light and airy. Only downside, they are a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
Fresh ingredients and authentic Greek dishes. Meat grilled on a charcoal grill, which tastes fabulous. Cocktails are delicious with weekly happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. A little piece of Greece in Durban North.
First time- beautiful outside setting. Had the famous chops and veg. It was good. The dessert was little donuts and chocolate sauce. Also good. Tasty food. Staff are friendly. Was just annoyed with the flies...

Friends told us about this awesome Greek restaurant and we decided to give them a visit. Friendly staff, warm welcomed. Ordered some G&T cocktails this was very refreshing. Meals well prepared and presented. Salsa sauce was nice and hot. Meat cooked to perfection. Great vibe and atmosphere around this little restaurant.
Absolutely Fabulous. Food superb. Vegan options were just Masterchef level. Meat and salads beautifully done. Happy table and great value. Top host and welcome from the owners. Definitely going back with many more friends and family. Absolute gem of a find.

Had the most amazing lunch at Nikos. Everyone loved their meals from kids of 15 to granny's. Atmosphere on a cold day was warm and inviting. It was splendid. Thank you. See you soon.

Hosted a team dinner here. Great experience. Wonderful, lively vibe. Staff extremely friendly. Tania was sweet and easy to work with. Food was delicious. Seating comfortable. Drinks reasonably priced.
Parking roadside or opposite parking garage. Beware of red lines when parking. Toilets are up one level on the right.
Beautiful place, nice friendly staff. I went with my friend to celebrate my birthday and they went an extra mile singing for me voluntarily. Loved the professionalism from our server Joseph. Will definitely visit again.

I ordered a chickpea yiro. I was told it's outstanding and they were absolutely right. Cooked Greek style to perfection with a Strachan sauce which was perfect. Well done to nikos and the team. In all I waited 10 minutes for my meal and it did not disappoint. Opa..
Lovely little restaurant. Service & food was good. The manager & staff where accommodating & friendly.
They could do with a few more cushions for the chairs though. Also if you are dining there during loadshedding, be aware that their menu becomes limited in what they can prepare so check your schedules before making a booking.

An awesome combination of delicious food at great prices with excellent service in a lovely ambience. I really enjoyed my Baklava milkshake (almost a meal itself) and flavourful Faké on a busy Sunday afternoon. I was served within minutes of placing my order, and was very satisfied with the experience. Thank you Nikos Durban North for a delightful lunch!

Delicious food. The Yirros are full and generous. Definitely not skimp on the filling. The eat and dip sauces do not automatically come with pita so remember to order pita if that's what you are in the mood for. Zucchini chips and potato chips are both equally delicious. Beautiful ambiance.
